Enclave Suites reviews

Highly recommended

We have just had the best holiday ever, staying at the Enclave Suites. Our room was fantastic, with a great view over the pool, the staff were amazing - nothing was too much trouble. The amenities and little extras that they put on for customers makes you feel that they really want to make your stay special. All of the areas are clean and well-maintained and the pools are great.
Super location - just off International Drive and close to Wet and Wild and Universal Studios. I will definitely stay there again.

please don't waste your money by booking this hotel. the rooms are dirty, damp and downright disgusting. The corridors stink of cigarettes, and rubbish bags are thrown out of the rooms waiting to be collected after three room changes I was changed to "the best available" a urine stained bed, a dirty bathroom, sheets with stains and burns on them, used cotton buds on the window ledge, someone elses hairbrush, hair in the bed, loose plug sockets, rusty and falling to bits fridge and a cooker with only one ring working. The worst hotel I have ever stayed in.

staff very helpful and friendly, room was very clean and could get clean towels every day if we wished, would defiantly go back, some reviews made me dread going on holiday here but everyone had different standards and if hotel is clean and friendly staff don't see why people obsess about small silly things, if you want a 5 star hotel then pay for one don't expect a 3 star hotel for the same price! the pool was always spotless and the view was great it looked onto a lake which was great to wake up to, the location was perfect for universal but going to Disney was bit expensive we didn't take a car because didn't fancy driving on other side of road and the public transport was brilliant. have 2 teenagers so the 2 bedroom suite was worth the extra money also having 2 bathrooms was great for getting ready, we only had to cross the road for tgi Fridays and chilli,s was round the corner was really perfect area and central for the restaurants.don't make the same mistake as me as went to wal mart and bought some ready made meals incase we couldn't be bothered going out some nights to discover that they don't have a cooker lol or toaster! there was a laundry room so did my washing before I got home, took me 10 mins to load the machine, would recommend.
don't listen to all the bad reviews, a holiday is what you make of it.

went to this hotel in Oct 2010 have to say that the only positive thing I can say is we had a good view from out filthy balcony. Our room was never cleaned properly hotel is to obsessed with saving money, we had bath tap system that never worked properly and fell to pieces air conditioning that broke down cockroaches and a laundry that people used into the night right next door, had to wait 36 hrs for toilet rolls, grab a bag breakfast bags really unappealing but not as unappealing as the cooked breakfast. The entrance to the block is like a giant ashtray. If your going to complain do it while you are there because they are not interested once you get back. We booked with Jetsave and they are even more disinterested. The worst hotel we have ever stayed in, in Florida

There's no Disney Magic here

This place desperately needs a refurb. The 2 points are for the pool because you could always get a sun lounger and the fact that it gave you a reason not to have to spend a moment longer in rooms, which were dirty, not maintained and had a cockroach issue.
After much complaining we did get moved but the new room was little improved. I felt sorry for the staff as they had little to be proud of and this was reflected in their attitude.
Fortunately the fact that we were out and about all the time made this bearable, but it did spoil the holiday.
When we were delayed by the ash cloud the worry was we would have to stay in this hotel, but fortunately the tour operated moved us to a fantastic hotel nearer the airport.
I would certainly not return or recommend anyone use this hotel, until they refurbish it. Shame location and ease to all things Disney was great.

Before going on holiday i checked on the reviews about the enclave even though i already had booked (i know a little too late) i wondered what we would find we arrived to be greeted by friendly staff at reception although it did need a lick of paint we took the lift upto the room. I was travelling with my husband and two children the room was clean and towels were changed on a daily visit by the maid. I think the only prob was the sofa bed needed new mattress it was thin and the children said it wasnt comfy at all other than that it was ideal for us alright it did need a revamp. but if your looking for a ideal location close to int dr clean, towels daily and clean surroundings this is the place for you we would definately go back it just shows dont always listen to talk!

Before going on holiday I read lots of reviews on the Enclave suites and became increasingly worried that my holiday was going to be a complete disaster. I was wrong! Our room was on floor two of the first building. The corridor had a strange, but not unpleasant smell to it, but was clean and not tatty as mentioned by several others. The room was so so much better than i had thought it would be. We had a two bedroom suite and it had obviously recently been updated. Marble effect work surfaces in the kitchen area, dark wood flooring and nice table seating area. Two double beds in both rooms, and the bathrooms were lovely. In fact I would like my bathrooms at home to look like them! Glass sinks, a walk in shower in one bathroom and 'his and hers' glass sinks in the second bathroom. We did spot a couple of cockroaches in the night, one at 4.30 am spotted by my son, to which he woke us all up to inform us! But, it is only to be expected in a building that size and a hot country. The suite was very clean and the maid came daily and if you tip her she even loads the dishwasher for you. What more can you ask for?? If you fly with Virgin airlines you even get a free cooked breakfast every day! Obviously not all the rooms were as up to date as ours, but overall, I would definately recommend staying there.

We have been to Florida 9 times in the past 10 years and we have stopped mostly around International drive, Clarion Universal (now being changed to another name) Holiday inn (very nice hotel)Best Western (now under different name)stopped at the Enclave suites 2 years ago and it was acceptable as far as Florida hotels go then but this year it has dropped its standards down to what I would class as a 1 maybe 2 star at best. Gone are the daily replenishment of soap and hair shampoo etc, floor was not cleaned very well for the whole 2 weeks.Everything kept breaking down, the dish washer would not work the sink leaked water all over the floor - took days for maint man to fix, hot water in shower was not constant one minute boiling next cold, the shower room had someone hairs still in the corner all holiday even though I had asked for it to be cleaned, they could not even find a replacement box of tissues, breakfast was a joke, either take away (one apple one Orange one small cake and small tub of orange juice, sit in was not much better but it was free for us but every day it was either bacon or sausage and always scrambled egg with toast and apple jelly, we did one day have waffles and syrup. All in all if you dont mind worn out settees and carpets and you can get it for a good price then I dont suppose it was too bad as it is very close to everything but next time we will go back to the Holiday Inn.

overall the Enclave was not too bad...

overall the Enclave was not too bad but we did have a lot of problems.
the 1st day we stayed there we found out the ironing board was broken in half and the iron was leaking water all over our clothes. we went to reception and asked them to change it they said they would right away but by the next day this still had not happened. so we went back down before we went out and got back and it still had not happened. so we went down and complained and finnally some one came up to sort it but she was rude trying to say that we did it even though we had only just got there and told them it happened.
then the same night the toilet broke and would not flush and the water just kept rising up that took over a day to fix and we had to complain about that 3 times before it was sorted.
after this we went to the halloween horror nights on the 1st night which was the friday we where there. it did not finish untill midnight so we left a bit early and got back for about midnight and went up to our room and the key would not work at all. so we went down stairs and where issued a new set of keys which also did not work!! we did this 8 times and by this point it was 1am, by this point we had had enough and asked for some one to come up and help up and see what is wrong as they had preiviously refused this and we would not leave the desk untill some one came with us . the guy came up and did not beleive there was a problem. he tried a key and his key and both did not work. we then had to wait half an hour for him to come back with the master key and open our door. we where told the battery had gone and someone would be up 1st thing in the morning to fix it,. surprise surprise no one came up to fix it. so we went down to complain when we where going out and they knew nothing about it so nothing had been done. so we where told it would be sorted by the time we got back which again it didnt. we waited another hour and finally got back in to our room.
we had quite a few problems with the fridge as well in the room and the hobs both of them where on a slant so the pans fell off them all!!.
it is in a good location but they need to sort out there comunication they have because no one knows what is going on in that place. you cannot understand half the people on reception or they can not understand what you are saying..
it is in a great location and great veiw from of wet n wild. i doubt i would ever stay there again

Firstly, these apartments are managed/cleaned by the Enclave company but are owner vacation homes, therefore all are individually decorated to the owners taste.Block 1 and 2 are allegedly the best for position and outlook and the newest building block 3 has no outlook and is next door to a mini arcade park with a bungee ride(not great if noise is a problem with you). My family(husband,2 kids under 8) and I stayed at this accommodation for 10 days in September [we moved from a 2 bedroomed apartment(Block 2) to a 2 bedroomed apartment with a terrace(Block 1)after the first night] and that was after viewing about 14 apartments within Blocks 1 and 2 - not good. We were on level 10 and the windows had no safety locks so we jammed them with cards. Some accommodation appeared cleaner and brighter than others at a glance, but I must emphasise that most are filthy and in need of a good housekeeper. The cleaning staff are polite/friendly,however they have simply not heard of dusting or bleach - I say this with utmost sincerity. The management staff are articulate, helpful, well briefed and use all the correct customer service jargon that you would associate with staff dealing with many unhappy holidaymakers.I came across several families on different days, all being relocated and upgraded blah blah. Location is good but that would be my only plus point. If you do choose these apartments maybe just prebook a couple of nights then you can move if you are unhappy. I really do hope the Enclave Suites get to grips with their cleaning/safety problems for future holidaymakers/travellers and also for the benefit of the individual apartment owners. Good luck.

our room was in need of a refit, cooker and air con were broken, swarms of ants in wardrobe ,we reported it every day and the caretaker finally came to have a look the day before we came home, the towels were changed every day and the sheets were spotless but the bedspread was covered in felt tip wich had obviously been on a long time.the balcony and patio furniture were dirty as were the patio doors, i cleaned them myself so we could look out across the lake, their had been a leaking roof in the corridor at some point and the walls and ceiling were covered in mildew and when you had to use the stairs you had to hold your breath and run down them because of the smell, the hotel is in a great location and the views across the lake towards wet n wild are fab,but thats about it this hotel could be really nice with some tlc.really nice pool area and friendly people. my fourth visit to orlando would NOT stay at this hotel again unless it has a major refit
