" Conveniently situated opposite the... "

Conveniently situated opposite the railway station and just off main shopping street with good selection of restaurants close by. Small dark rooms with twin beds pushed together under 1 outer cover. Disconcerting first impression for same sex couples travelling together. Also, only 1 key available & no pass key held at reception. Leave key in room at your peril!

Beds very comfortable & linen clean although towels off white.
Constant supply of very hot water & small bathroom well lit although no shower curtain.

Good buffet breakfast with eggs, ham & cheese but no fruit or yoghurt. Pleasant bar area on 1st floor off small dining room serving well presented simple meals.
Drawbacks: Accommodates groups of young men who can be noisy & inconsiderate when returning from the many bars, in the early hours.

Male reception staff were arrogant & extremely unhelpful.
