Pineda Park Apartments

As you may already have seen my other reviews on this site what else can I say this was my 3rd time to the pineda park apartments and once again it was brilliant. This time around the staff actually remembered me and gave me discount in there restaurant.
The food once again was lovely! And the staff are great! I also had a nice meal whilst I was there at the restaurant/bar called the "captains table" down on the high street. Weather was great is much better between May and August, but was still hot enough for me!!
I would definitely recommend this place every thing about the apartments and the country is wonderful and I can also recommend the theme park "port aventura" make sure you ride on there 8 looping rollercoaster called the "dragons khan" which you can actually see from your apartment balcony if it over looks the entrance of the hotel.
And now I can't seem to shut up! There is just so much to do and so much fun to have:! I just can’t get enough of it and I will be definitely be going back in July this year. (sorry about my spelling) Have a great holiday!

By far the most cleanest and beautiful apartments I have ever stayed in!
You are always looking for a quick transfer from the airport. 15 mins! Lovely country, great theme park, great for kids, wonderful if you’re a fussy eater and lovely whether.
This was the second time I have come to these apartments.
First time I came in May 2003 when the apartments were only a year old. They still have the same standard as they did then...
The staff are great and having travelled abroad over 10 times at the age of 17, this is what you would require in a five star hotel.
It would be great if they did all inclusive instead of self catering, because their food in the restaurant downstairs is wonderful.

By far the best apartments we ever stayed in! They were spotless and the staff could not have been more helpfull.
The food in the restaurant was lovely and the staff were very friendly.
The towels were changed every second day and the sheets were changed every second day also, which was great in the heat.
The pool area was very clean and well kept and there was plenty of sun loungers around the pool.
The nightly entertainment was varied and well suited for children and adults alike and it ended at midnight every night.
The two bathrooms were fantastic and the apts are lovely and spacious. We had a great holiday!

We stayed in the Pineda Park Apartments for a week. I thought they were the best self catering apartments we have ever stayed in.
I was a bit cautious about choosing here as it was our first time in La Pineda and we were bringing our baby of 11 months away for the first time too.
We were pleasantly surprised. They were spotless clean and had all modern amenities.
The entertainment was very good and really got the whole family involved, including my 11 year old daughter who is usually very shy.
The food in the bar downstairs was lovely and the staff were really pleasant.
The only downside was the cost of the extras such as the safe and the hiring of a cot. Otherwise I couldn’t fault these apartments.
We liked them so much we're going back again this year for two weeks.

We found these apartments the very best we have ever stayed in they were fantastic, very big modern and very clean I agree with some of the others about the noise we were on the second floor but on the back so looking out to the theme park and the people up above not very quite but hey that’s what goes with a family holiday you don’t expect it to be quite we would go back again without a doubt.
The air con was well worth it we went to sleep with it on, there are a few charges that was one for the safe I think this was about 30 euros for the week and then a breakage charge which is payable when you check in this was £40 or you can pay 60 euros which was given back when we checked out.
Down stairs they have 2 washing machines which were handy you don’t even have to buy wash powder it filters it in with the charge about 5 euros they also have a dryer and an ironing board with iron great for us with kids.
Overall the apartments we couldn’t fault and overall we loved it, La pineda was quite and not dead busy but Salou only a short bus ride away which was too busy for us with a few kids. The water park in La pineda was good cost around £120.00 for 9 of us no time limit, stay as long as you want and only a short walk from the apartments the shops do close as well for afternoon some of them like the supermarkets and cigarettes shops most of others open just these few.
Overall this was a great holiday short flight 15 mins from airport and great apartments would visit again.

Highly recommend these apartments to all families. Clean Tidy and well fitted out with all kitchen appliances. Entertainment at apartments best suited to the younger families. Teenagers have a lot of attractions on main street which was very safe as it was not overcrowded. I personally would hate for this resort to become to commercial.
Loved the theme park and water parks, great market on the Friday but do be careful of pick pockets in crowds around the stalls. Great bus services but the drives can be a like short tempered. Nice to be out side Salou and in a relaxing resort hoping to go back next year . Don’t think we will ever get better apartments. Food on site was excellent as was the staff .

I read all the previous comments before booking a weeks holiday at the Pineda park apartments, although the apartments were of a high standard there didn’t seem to be any soundproofing in the apartments whatsoever. Of the 7 nights we were there we were kept awake 3 nights with the music from the bar (didn’t stop till 2 some nights)people coming in shouting and screaming, when the toilet was flushed upstairs it was like having a toilet next to your bed. I’m no stick in the mud, I’m 42 and like a good night out like anyone. But when you go away to relax and you cant sleep it makes people ratty, my 2 boys didn’t sleep either which made the next day all the more difficult. I asked for a room change after 2 days but was told there were no rooms available,(the room next door was empty!).would never return to la Pineda or the Pineda park apartments.

The apartments are fab (the best I have ever stayed in) drawbacks the TV has only English news channels and the Safe in the room costs you 35 euros 1 week r 50 euros for 2 weeks all in all worth it with 2 bathrooms its great with kids, the reception Staff and the Bar staff in the accommodation are great 10 /10. The resort I give a 5 out of 10 the people don’t seem very friendly and only seem to speak Spanish ?? (they can speak English when it suits them.) Salou is a lot more English speaking. If you go to La Pineda you have to go to the waterfront for a meal but before 9.30 we went twice about 9.45 pm and it was sold out !! it will the best meal of the holiday for steaks its the best !!!!
La Pinda caters to the Spanish I found and I did find it very unfriendly to the English its seems they cant be bothered or don’t want to speak English, Salou caters for the English a lot more and seems to welcome you a lot more. The bus service is fab and a lot cheaper (about 1.20 euros to 2.40 for the late bus each) than taxis, the reps tell you its cheaper to buy telephone cards off them than to call on coins but we found its better to use 2 euros you get about 4 mins on the phone, ( after 9 pm) the theme Park is great but you really need 2 to 3 full days to see it all, we got a night ticket on the second day and you would be better getting the full day ticket to get it all in.
The Water parks are Fab too the best 1 I thought was the 1 in La Pineda you had a lot more space with the sunbeds than Costa Caribe and you can have photos taken with the seals for the kids for 10 euros in La Pineda( u can have lots of photos taken in all the parks and they are mostly 6 euros each, 10 euros are the dearest ones) but costa caribe is better for very young kids they have a lot more to do it seems and more shaded areas.
We would go back but think it would be better to stay in Salou or the Theme Park Hotel maybe ? Great Holiday all in all just don’t expect the Spanish to speak your language!!!

Very good for families near the beach two bedroom apartments. Very clean and spacious two bathrooms is good as they sleep six no waiting for the bathroom. Nice swimming pool and kids pool regular entertainment. Local buses run to Salou regularly. Lots of bars and restaurants near by. A good place to chill out also near to the water park. Highly recommended
