Pineda Park Apartments

Just home since yesterday. We had the best holiday ever and will definitely be going back. The apartments were fantastic. Spotless and had every thing you could possibly need. Having two bathrooms was great as we have 3 children. The reception staff were excellent especially Joseph. Laura the rep was lovely too. The staff in the Admiral bar were so friendly and really lovely with the children. The pool area was a perfect size and very safe for children. The towels and sheets were changed regularly also. The resort was really close to Salou, Cambrils and Tarragona and the bus service was excellent. We took a Plana bus trip to Barcelona and the bus driver was so nice and gave us a lovely guided tour of the city. His name is Adrian. There is a waterpark very near the apartments and the girls had a ball at it. I would recommend it. The only let down would be the entertainment as the first and second week was identical. We missed out a few nights the first week as someone complained about the noise. The hypnotist was hilarious. There is also a lovely beach nearby and its never too packed which is perfect when you have small children. The little gift shops along the beach front are full of nice little trinkets. We ate at the pineda snack along the beachfront one night. Would recommend it. Our last night there there was a fireworks display. It was a lovely way to finish off our holiday. If you have children then this is the place for you.

Hi, We have been back since monday 21st and i must say everything was fantastic. We had read the reviews before we came out and we were delighted with it all. We have been going to the resort of La Pineda for 18 years it has been about 4 years since the last time we were here. The resort has changed slightly in 4 years there has been places we used to go but are not there anymore but, our usual haunts were there. Gordons bar and the best Irish pub in the resort Hennessays. The apartments (our house) were out of this world i don't have an en-suite in my house so that was a big plus and my daughter thought it was great having her own room and her own bathroom as well. The staff were fantastic and the Admiral well what can i say but fantastic to all who work in it. The rep was brilliant Laura she was great and only lives 10 minutes away from us. The entertainment was good but some person complained about the noise and we had none for 2 days but we got it back. The activities to go on where great jeep safari is a must and remember take water guns plenty of water take an empty 5 litre water bottle and keep filling up when you stop but, most important wear the oldest clothes you have got with you because you are going to get dirty and i mean dirty. As i said we have been back since monday and we are still trying to get the dirt out of our things we wore. Well thats about all i can say about wonderful La Pineda. You have to go and find out for yourself just how wonderful it is. Thanks for reading and happy holiday. PS, we are booked to go back next year. Until then adios hasta luego.

Initial room we were offered was Duplex style with marble staircase - not ideal with children and wet feet. The banister was also loose. They did allow us to move the following day but at a cost of fifty euro's. Next room was mutter better although as overlooking the pool it was quite noisy at night. Other than that the apartments were very comfortable with great air conditioning system. Entertainment was excellant the first week, but unfortunately the same programme was repeated the second week.

BEST HOLIDAY EVER!!!
The aprtments are superb. When get off at the airport you are the first one to be dropped off at your hotel. The rooms are very nice indeed! You are near loades of shops and resturants it is perfect for families!

1 ot the nicest apartments i stayed in!
the apartment had an onsuite with a bath and the other toilet had a shower!
the apartment was very clean!
the entertainment was brill!
the staff where friendly and helpful!
the beach was near!
theirs was a water park near the apartments!
their was also shops near by!

hi all just to let u know we have just came home from la pineda .we stayed at the la pineda appartments this was our first time but will definetly be returning.the staff at the admiral were brilliant and so friendly. janet the owner saved me when i got sunburn she told me exactly what to put on it thanks again janet.the weather was just great.the staff at the reception desk were so friendly and so helpful never before have i seen this on any the holidays we have been on. the cleaning of the appartment was always done everything from clean towels to bed sheets. our appartment was three bed appartment number 106 right up over reception door it was great the entertainment was brilliant.the gifts down town where very cheap and there was another pub we tried it was the victoria and they where so friendly. i went with my husband my sister and three kids and i would advise anyone out there looking for a great fun filled holiday choose this.we spent three days at the waterpark well done to all the staff and management.

five months ago we (2 adults/2 children) booked to go here departing 16 June 08 (around mid day) for 7 nights. Then Airtours/Thomas Cook (they are the same company now) altered it to 6am 15 June.
At Reus airport we were not on the list of names for a coach transfer. The rep sorted that and put us on the coach for Pineda Park apartments. When we tried to check in the man at the desk called the rep over and told her we were not booked to stay there. The rep then told us that although we had booked a two bedroom apartment with self catering kitchen facilities we would be staying in a hotel up the road with two separate rooms and no kitchen facilities. She also said that the rep at Reus airport had been told to tell us that.
The rep said that Thomas Cook had overbooked the apartments.
We complained and said we wanted a 2 bedroom apartment with kitchen facilities. We were then put in the Cambrils Park timber built bungalows which is the other side of Salou and a bit out of the way. We were not happy but were told it was that or nothing.
So, if you think you might like the look of Pineda Park Apartments, as we did five months ago, it does not neccessarily mean you will be staying there, even if Airtours actually deliver you to that building.
We were not amused.
(it would not let me put this message on without a rating, obviously the rating is a guess as I did not stay there)

la pineda park apartments were BRILLIANT.
The bar that was attached to the apartments
was called the admiral & was great!
The staff were lovely.
The nicest guy at the bar was richie,
he was so funny.
It's so close to the beach,
not even a quarter of a mile away.
The apartments were so clean,
2 bathrooms,2 english speaking channels,
luckily.

i have stayed at pineda park for the last 4years it is just the best,8 of us go the hotel staff are fantastic also the bar and resturant staff janet,cami etc food great.I have to say it is so clean and the kids love it and the pool.We will be back next year 2008 with more friends.Just got to mention the apts are fab everything you need from a saucepan to a scissors try them you will love it. bye

The best apartments I have ever stayed in. 10 out of 10 for everything.Cleaniness,friendlyness,location,food, and helpfulness,
I would have no problem living in these apartments.
