we went to this hotel in September 2011 for a girlie weekend and for what we paid for it I couldnt complain, If you want a five star hotel you pay for it, the rooms were clean but the hallway was a bit grubby,
the food was ok and the drinks were own brands but good and had nice cold beer and lots of it lol but finished at 12 on the dot.overall the hotel was ok but had a great cheap girlie weekend, would say the only downfull was the pools were not heated and the water was freezing and nearby is lots and lots of shops for shopping. would i return yes i would

Just reading the reviews on this hotel as i went there in 2008... and even back then they had the SAME bug and it still going around??? very sad to hear and they cant get rid of it! We had a dodgy tummy for a day or so only stayed 4 days tho, some people were real ill when we were there tho. Over all it was good and clean and we did get the full 4 days inc flights for £160 for 2 so was a massive bargin.
Just a shame to see the Bug is still going around and still as bad!!

I am very surprised that this hotel has received some negative reviews, I went there with adults and children - great sea views, entertainment during the day and evening, friendly and efficient staff. There were a couple of people I met who had been ill but they had spent most of the day and night taking advantage of the all inclusive bar so I wasn't surprised that they had a dodgy tummy. ...... The restaurant food was varied and there was something for everyone. There were handwipes handed out in the restaurant and thank goodness for that - the amount of people I witnessed over the week leave the toilet without washing their hands was disgusting - and we are talking female adults ,..!!
I will be going back - great value for money.

just returned from the holiday from hell at this hotel, go there at your own peril, because you will get the dreaded norovirus bug. we went all inclusive for 7 days and all the family spent 5 of those being violently sick and bent double in pain.the hotel is filthy, the corridors dont look as though they have seen a hoover since the day it opened, the maids mop your bathroom out and then use the same mop to mop your room, and it stinks like they change the water once every six months. it should ring alarm bells when you enter the restaurant, and they provide you with sanitation wipes as you walk in. the food is always repeated through the day, ie sausages from breakfast are reheated for snacks in the afternoon, then reused at night, lamb one day becomes lamb curry the next, you get the idea....we spoke to loads who had the sickness bug, apparantly this hotel has had it ages, and cant get rid of it, so why keep taking guests??? shut it down and CLEAN IT. wont be long before someone really old or really young comes a cropper here, dont be the next victim.

The hotel had an outbreak of the Norovirus, the food was bland, all drinks including hot ones where served in party cups, restaurant where rude.
The only plus about this hotel was the bar staff, they made every effort to make you smile and feel comfortable.

Just arrived home from a family holiday and had a really good time. Entertainment was good and there was a good selection of food in the resturaunt. Only part that ruined our holiday was how the staff didnt seem to ask the people in the room a few doors down from us to be quiet at night when the kids were in bed! other than that it was a good hotel and i would go back again.

just back from beach club,a brilliant hotel we had a great time as usual,rooms are spotless food is great something for everyone including us fussy eaters ,staff very friendly as always,cant wait to go back and i would recommend this hotel to anyone.

We went to this hotel on the 6th october 2009 yes i know what you are thinking why leave it so long to write this well i didn't write anythink before as i was writing a complaint not that it got me anywhere....I went there with my husband and our 10 year old daughter we booked to go there for our honeymoon which our guest had paid for and it was a big dissapointment from when we first arrived we was told our room wasn't ready till 12 midnight as you can imagine we had been up for hours and all we wonted to do was go to sleep after a long day travelling eventually when we got in our room which was on the 6th floor we just went to sleep the hotel is dirty and the food looks like it is the same food being served everyday we was giving hand wipes before we even went into the resturant so straight away that wasnt write coz most people like myself wash your hands before you have something to eat my husband was the first person to get the DREADED BUG we had only been there 2 days so first thing i did in the morning was to report it to the rep who wasn't very helpful at all i told him the problem and he said to me straight away it's not the food it is a bug thats been ongoing hear for a long time well why wasn't we told this before they took our money..I went to the chemist like the rep told me to and spent 40 euros on the medicine the pharmisit told me i needed for my husband he was ill and weak all the next day..Then just one day after my husband was better i caught it so we was really having a good time..My husband went to find the rep to fill in a form to state that we had repoted our illness to him but he couldn't find him it was like 2 days later we saw him at the hotel where we filled in the form even then he was in a rush as his girlfriend or wife was waiting for him we asked for a copy of these forms we filled in and was told we couldn't have them....WHAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN A HOLIDAY TO REMEMBER WAS A HOLIDAY FROM HELL I WOULD NEVER RETURN TO THIS HOTEL AND WOULD ADVISE ANYONE FROM GOING THERE AND I WOULDN'T EVEN BOTHER TO TRY TO COMPLAIN COZ ALL YOU GET TOLD IS THAT AT THE TIME YOU WAS THERE UNFORTUANTLY THERE WAS A NERO VIRUS BUG THAT WAS GOING AROUND....WHAT I DONT UNDERSTAND IS WHY DONT FIRST CHOICE USE THIS HOTEL ANYMORE I WONDER TO MANY COMPLAINTS THEY CARN'T KEEP BLAMING THIS BUG NOW CAN THEY HOPE THIS WAS HELPFUL AM SORRY IT IS SO LONG JUST WONT PEOPLE TO KNOW IT IS A HORRIBLE PLACE TO GO..

I must say, was glad didn't stick to the review, we had an amazing time, the hotel was very clean, variety of food everyday with hot french bread and freshly made pizza.we are a family of 4 kids age 7-11y, they both enjoy themselves, had a snooker table with air hockey,the downside was the outside swimming pool was to cold, they were happy with the heated indoors one. the beach was just opposite. it was amazing view from our room to see the sunset and sunrise. our room was very clean and big,had clean towel every day, just put the dirty one in the bath and the maid will replace them and do your bed.the bus stop was just outside the hotel cost 1.20 and train about 5 mins walk cost around 1.25. The hotel had a washing machine which cost 3.00 and dryer 2 euro for 40 mins.malaga airport was just 10 mins. Overall we had a fantastic holiday, would recommend it 110%, didn't get any BUG whatsoever.can't wait till next year to book again.

we stayed at the torremolinos beach club from 12-23rd october 2010. we were a party of 6 adults and was the first time we stayed at this hotel.we went to celebrate my birthday and can honestly say we had the most fantastic time. please take no notice to the bad reviews on here as i feel it very unfair. although yes i do agree the hotel needs updating but was very clean and tidy. the rooms very comfortable and on the first night i found the mattress a little hard i spoke to reception and within 1 hour they had replaced it with a memory foam one, very comfortable indeed. the food was absolutely lovely with plenty of choice and always piping hot. staff were often checking temperature of the food which was very impressive and cleanliness was always adhered to. the drinks were plentiful and wow yes very strong certainly not watered down unlike other places i have stayed. The entertainment for the whole 10 nights was absolutely fantastic and not just your run of the mill singers and dancers, these were proffesional shows with the likes of the four tops and the jacksons tribute bands to name but a few so i can recommend this hotel on that alone.
the hotel is situated right accross the road from the beach and there is a bus to take you into town although we did not go out that much as there was always something to do at the hotel. we were all inclusive and certainly got our moneys worth we met lots of different people over there and would recommend this holiday without a shadow of a doubt. we enjoyed it that much we are going back next year with the rest of my family. the only downside to the holiday was the swimming pool was cold but once you were in, it quickly warmed up. The weather was absolutely gorgeous i am just so sad to return to the uk and the brilliant weather we have. roll on next year. oh and yes the horse riding on the beach is absolutely amazing, well worth the trip.
