We went to the teguisol aparts two years ago with our daughter and we are going back again tomorrow nov 14th without children so we can expolre the rest of the country. found apartment great last time and cant wait to go back. absolutely loved it.

Arrived to find an ok room which we were happy with, for us (myself, husband and 2yr old daughter) the most important aspect! The next day we "struggled" down to the welcome meeting, i say struggled as we found the main bar, restaurant, entertainment area etc.. was down some very steep stairs, great for your back when carrying a buggie up and down each time!!. We did try the entertainment on two occasions but found the "blackpool style" set up was not our sort of thing and definitely not worth the struggle up & down the stairs! We then tried the bar in the lobby area (english style bar as its known), this was a massive thumbs down, on holiday we like to sit outside watch the sun go down, sit in the elements etc.. while having a cold one, not sit in a bar done out like the local club, with whatever is on sky sports belting out constant (we are big footy fans, but draw the line at motor racing - golf - rugby etc..) Kids pool was fine, found the ramps by the side of all the stairs lethal, (eddie the eagle would struggle with them!) We found a great hotel a few doors down, "Los Zocos", we went there every night for the kids disco at 8.30, reps were great, superb venue, and a godsend for us!! We know for next time!!

My family and I arrived at the apartments on the 21st October and had the best week ever!! We met up with friends and joined in all the activities the complex offered. The apartments and complex was spotless and nothing was ever to much trouble. The holiday reps were fantastic and friendly and made us all very welcome. Our friends had a child that joined the "Kids Club" and they organised various activities not only for the children but for adults too. The pool was excellent and there was always plenty of room for the seven of us to lay out. I would recommend this complex to anyone and will be returning for another enjoyable holiday. The only fault that I found was that in the bars and restaurant air conditioning was definitely needed.

Pretty disappointed with the room when we arrived. We had asked for a quiet ground floor room when booking but although it was ground floor we were on the main drag away from reception into the hotel (217) so got alot of nighttime noise as people returned to rooms or left for early flights. Room was nice and big but smelt damp from the off and this continued throughout the two weeks (30Sept - 14 Oct). Bathroom badly in need of refurb and kitchen was basic and dirty, ie sticky surfaces, sploges of fat on cooker (ie only huge pans, not enough cutlery and a lethal tin opener). Fridge freezer brand new and fab, but cooking a meal for family of 4 was a nightmare, and we booked a self-catering option! JMC entertainment reps were fantastic, best yet on a holiday, especially vikki and lexi, and kids club was great for out of season - they really had a good variety of stuff for the kids to do. Hotel staff very helpful and fixed everything we asked quickly. Cats a problem on ground floor, my husband awoke to find one on our bed one night!!! People great, hotel a disappointment. Would not recommend location/hotel but JMC reps were happy, confident and good fun.

Myself, partner and our two year old stayed here in july and what a disappointment, we were not once able to get a seat by the pool as people were putting towels on loungers whilst coming home from nights out. On several occasions i complained to the hotel and rep, both of who did nothing. The rep even had the cheek to ask me what i expected her to do about it. The buffet breakfast was awful. A very disappointing holiday.

There were 3 people in our party and had requested apartment with an extra bedroom we were surprised at how spacious it was the second bedroom was upstairs with its own bathroom. Apartments clean. Kids entertainment is excellent as is the staff, there are lots of activities for the kids and by the pool daily ie quizes, pools, darts and water polo. Food ok and caters for vegetarian. Poolside music a bit loud not for you if you want peace and quiet suitable mainly for families and groups. No children in our party but we still enjoyed our holiday for the week.

There 19th August. Kids club excellent. Kids loved Little clare and dynamite disco. pool fine nned to reserve sunbeds. Rooms desperately need refurbishmnet. given 406 asked to be moved 2nd room slightly better but couldnt have cooked there. entertainment ok. staff worked very hard. nice resort

great place loads of room definatly go again, very hot june 2004, local beach is shocking full of rocks and seaweed but is better further out in town area, pool was great though they use saltwater and not chlorine so to clean it, very windy area but without the wind you would probably melt in the heat, loads to do great nightlife kids loved every minute of it all reps apart from laura are great, lots for kids to do bowls,football darts golfing, swimming, etc email anytime thanks. ---------------------------

Teguisol is great! On arrival a package is given with basicaly everything you need to know. do take note they say you canot reserve sun loungers but i'd say its a must as people actually do. The apartments are very clean and the walkays in which you get to them are great. ok so there is a few steps but with everylot of steps there is a ramp way next to them. The rooms are quiet spacious with my only complain being not many hangers and inadequate clothes space if your in a 1 bedroom apartment. the kitchen utensils are enough but not adequate if you want to cook a meal in there for more than 3 people. The day time entertainment is very good! The reps are full of energy and give everything they have got to make your holiday pleasant. They organise quizzes, games and plenty of activities for both children and adults to take part in. The night time entertainment is mainly performed by the reps although sometimes professional acts come in and do shows which is very good. Althought the reps perform really well the acts can sometimes seem amature but yet still very entertaining! The kids clubs are excellent and truely entertaining for the children. all the children there loved it and the reps that looked after them. All in all me and my family thought it was great apart from we felt restricted to the complex as everywhere else nearby was evry quiet. i would go back if the hotel was closer to the town of puerto del carmen. the holiday was great and the hotel is excellent. i would reconmend it to anyone!
