On One Occation Black Out Took Place Where Yougest Was Hurt Due To This Power Cut Hotel Rep & Holiday Reps No Use Or Did not Care
On Last Day Removed From Room At !0 am With Child Of 4 With Sore Foot And Four Month Old As No Room Extention Was Given But Room Was Not In Use Even When We Had Left At 8pm That Night As Checked

Before leaving for my holiday i read reviews and became concerned. Rang thomas cook and was told that if these apartments were as the reviews stated they would have had feedback by now. So not to worry. Upon arriving all my fears were confirmed. The complex was dirty and very old fashioned. When we got into our room that was no better the room was old fashioned and not very clean. As it was about 10pm we went straight out to eat. The following morning this seemed no better the pool area was dirty and when my daughter asked me to go in the pool with her i was horrified as it was slimey around the edges. There was black bits floating in the pool which she told me was caused by the kids scraping it from off the tiles on the floor. We stayed for 2 weeks and complained several times to both staff and tour reps as we had our room cleaned 4times in the 2 weeks and clean sheets 4 times. towels were changed 3 times. Thats if you could really call the new ones clean. I have stayed at many complexs in costa teguise and have never come across such a dirty complex. Every morning litter all around pool and paths still there in the afternoon.We stayed as far away from the complex as possible as its a horrible dirty place and should be taken off thomas cooks books asap. As it does them no favours. Oh and its one of only a few in costa teguise that doesn't have its own generator so if you have a power cut as we did beware.

On arrival at the complex at 10pm in the dark was given a map to find our apartment which took us about 20mins!! Rooms spacious but dated, not very clean. We had dirty linen on the beds, although next day when we complained they were changed. There was cockroaches and lots of ants! Cooking facilities were poor, there was no cooking utensils. The pools are salt water and although you arnt supposed to, everyone puts towels out at the crack of dawn and its hard to get a sunbed. There is no one paying any attention and no lifeguard. The pool is overrun with inflatables! As the school holidays had just started the place was full of kids, which is ok as I have 4, but no one is paying attention and they run wild around the pool and once or twice my little one nearly got knocked down. It all sounds a bit negative but the resort itself is nice just would not recommend these apartments.

Before i left for my holiday i made the mistake of reading a few of the reviews for these apartments, the majority of them being negative about the the place. But after spending a week there i can honestly say it's a great place to stay. Ok it's not the most modern of complexes but it is clean and the maids change the linen and provide fresh towels every other day, the pool area is lovely with loads of areas to sunbathe both in the sun and shaded. As we were self catering i cannot comment on the food provided but there are loads of fab restaurants nearby offering a range of cuisines. All in all we had a great holiday staying at the Teguisol apartments and would definatley return.

First ever holiday abroad went to teguisol appartments.2000 ish at the end of our holiday i don't mind admitting i had a tear in my eyes the place was a dream of all dreams come true . June 2008 what a difference .back in 2000 there was a army of cleaners . gardeners and holiday reps that looked like they wanted to be there.now the place is looking very very tired .so so sad . now before you go canceling your holiday let me had a few good things about teguisol appartments .firstly the staff 11 out of10...... spot on .these people will bend over backwards to ensure you get the best from your stay.if you are wanting chandeliers and caviar stay away.... if you are wanting good clean apartments this is the place to be .i said these people Aime to please . on arrival 3 light bulbs were out . went to reception told them and within 5 Min's a maintains man sorted no problem. take note having spent 3 nights on a mattress that was way past its sell by date i had a word in reception .went out for the day and on our return found a brand new mattress let me say it again these people really are the bees knees......as for the restaurants and bars very very child frindly.baeches first class . but getting back to teguisol appartments would i go back ?????? you try stopping me . sun sand sea but most of all staff that truly care about giving you a grate holiday

We have just come back from Lanzarote we stayed in Costa Teguise at the Apartments Teguisol. Before we went I wanted to check what our apartements were going to be like as we had our two children with us our son of 13 and our youngest daughter who is 5. I started to panic when I read really horrible things about our apartments that other holidaymakers wrote so by reading that it put a bit of a dampner on my holiday. But they were oh so wrong. We loved every minute of our holiday at the Teguisol, rooms were cleaned every otherday except Sundays linen was clean twice a week and towels every other day or when we asked for them. Food was great english breakfast every morning and either hot meal or salad in the evening and it was eat as much as you want it was brill. If you have kids with you then the kidsworld club was fantastic to keep younger kids entertained it was run by two wonderful reps Anna and Krissy. All I can say is don't always believe what you read this apartment is not 5 star if you want that rating then go and pay for it. I loved staying there and so did my family we recommend it to any one we will certainly go back in the near future. Go and enjoy Costa Teguise is so beautiful.

We have just returned from a week self catering and found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. The only problem we had with the apartment was that it was very outdated it could desperately do with a refurbishment.
The supermarket staff were very friendly also.
We had to vacate our room at ten on the day of departure and were not getting picked up until the evening for our flight but the hotel offered a secure locker ( for a small charge) to hold our luggage. They also have shower rooms and provide towels to enable you to freshen up.
The maids cleaned our room every day but Sunday and were very friendly but the quality of the towels supplied were poor.
Overall we enjoyed our holiday here but because of the poor quality of the rooms we will not be visiting the teguisol again.

just returned what a rundown dump. rooms smelt awful for the whole of the 2weeks cleaners didn't use cleaning gel or disintfectant which might off helped slightly.rooms where very spacious but had fleas. suppose we where lucky though most other people had cochroaches all over their rooms in the cooker and in the drawers.whole of the complex needs updating dirty and run down.poolside bar shut at 5pm so on lovely evenings you couldn'tsit outside and have a drink unless you bought your own.food was very dissapointing of an evening not much choice and even though we where half board we had to pay for water with are evening meal.breakfast was acceptable.hotel safe was a letter box only fit passports and money in no room for camera or camcorder.lady on reception was helpful hotel entertainer was friendly and helpful (better than our rep).out and about we met some lovely br owners and staff and we where served decent food which proved nice food can be provided (but not at our hotel).first holiday we have all wished to end won't be returning to Lanzarote ever again those of you who like it must have avoided our hotel and those planning to go would be advised to avoid it too !!!

Having just returned from the Teguisol we were very disappointed with the variety of food. Chips every night and only one other night we had roast potatoes as well. 3 meat or fish dishes but most of it was only luke warm.The plates were always cold. No coffee with the evening meal either. After we complained to the Rep the food changed but only for 1 night and then back to poor quality. The breakfast was no better either. Only 4 or 5 hot items, and fried eggs on a cold plate are not very tasty.
The appartments were very clean and comfortable although the curtains were in need of replacing and the bathroom was looking very tired. It is supposed to be 3 star but I only rate the food 2 star although the facilities were 3 star.
There was no bar open after 9pm and no adult entertainment. Everything is designed for children not couples. I certainly would not go there again especially in May or later as it would be full of children and noisy.

Just got back from a weeks holiday at the Teguisol Apartments and wow what a holiday we had!!!
Although it was a little dated, the apartment was clean and the staff there were very friendly. The maids cleaned our room almost everyday and made the beds. The weather was gorgeous! There were some clouds about but believe me when i say you can still tan through them!!! It is also quite windy but i find this to be better as it takes the edge away from the heat! During the day, there are poolside activities like quiz, darts, bowls etc.....
The apartments location is brilliant because you are only a short walking distance away from the beach, bars and resturants. The most popular bar to got to for couples and familys was Legends which had entertainment on everynight followed by a disco.
My only negative about this apartment is the poolside bar close's at 4pm in the afternoon and there was no happy hour which i thought was quite un-usual? Normally from past experiences on holidays, between 4pm and 6pm was the time for familys to relax by the poolside with a cheap beer but not here!!
If you are going here soon you will have a lovely, relaxing time and i am so jealous cause i want to go back!!!!
