I went to Sunwing resort in the summer of 2005 and thought it was brill. The hotel provided for your every need, shop, Restauraunt, childrens activities, night activities, an amazing pool and great rooms.
The staff were polite and helpful and you were safe. It was in a very nice place for around it there were shops, beach, restaurants e.g Mac-Donald’s, markets and lots of places to visit.
We went on two daytrips to Lorra Park (a large zoo with lots of shows and gardens to walk around.) and we also went to a great water park which provided dolphin shows, food, hair braiding and slides. The day trips were worth every penny.
The hotel was always extremely clean and everything was as good as it looked, especially the games room, pool and rooms. To give a score out of ten I would pick 10 for it was a brilliant holiday and it was worth the money.

We have now been to Tenerife three times, but our first time on the Sunwing Resort.
It is a great place. The apartments are equipped with everything you might need.
There are activities for everyone; "Pump" and "Circle Training" for adults and teenage kids, and the bear and giraffe "Lollo & Bernie" for smaller children.
The Water Gym is great. In the period of time we stayed there, the instructors were Stefan and Kristina. They were great.
The surroundings are good; not much noise in the night, but if want to go somewhere to party, it's not far... actually nothing is far!
I've 10/10, because it's the best hotel I've ever visited.

We stayed at the Sunwing in a party of 4, 2 adults and 2 teenage lads. We have now been to Tenerife 15 times on the bounce.
These apartments are the best self catering apartments we have been in. Room's are designed to perfection, and are very space saving. The room's were not the biggest, we have stayed in but by far the most equipped.
Air conditioning excellent, all Ikea cooking utensils, and well stocked kitchen. The bathroom was excellent, it had 2 wash basins in front of a large mirror, so 2 of us could get ready at once.
The pool was superb, water aerobics is a must, half an hour each day, helps to shed a few pounds put on by the excellent food available. There are loads of sunbeds, probably enough for 2 sunbeds each, and the hotel was full.
Staff very helpful, and spoke excellent English, entertainment very good, ABBA night not to be missed.
Location is fantastic, I could recommend some local restaurants, but there are too many to mention, and all very reasonably priced. The beach is only 5 minutes walk, and I mean only 5 minutes stroll.
Lots of bars, cafe bars, restaurants on the sea front, also souvenir, and perfume shops, for you to haggle with, all shop owners expect you to haggle, so don't be shy and you will get lots of bargain's.
To finish, superb hotel, superb location, see you again soon in June 2007.

These were the nicest apartments I have ever stayed in!
The actual apartments were so clean. The accommodation is a minute walk to the beach. The only down side to the accommodation was the onsite supermarket was quite expensive. At midday, everyday they have aqua aerobics in the main pool for half an hour which was fun. They also have computers in reception which is good for keeping in touch with people back at home.
Great location if you don't want to be right in the centre of Playa de Las Americas but don't want to be to far from it either. It’s about a 20min walk to Veronicas strip but taxis are cheap of you don't want to walk there We booked to go on the Sea bird catamaran cruise where you see whales and dolphins which were amazing-they swim right next to the boat! This is a def must do.
The resort is quite cheap for drinks until you get into Veronicas area where I paid 7 euros for a Smirnoff Ice!
On our last day we had a PM flight and had to be out the room by 12 and we weren’t picked up until 6pm, unfortunately we couldn't get a late check out room however they do have a room you can keep your luggage in for the day. The receptionist keeps hold of the key to that room so it’s safe, they have showers you can use and Playstaion room, which is where we stayed for our last few hours in the accommodation.
If I went back to Tenerife - which I hope I will soon - I would 100% return to the Sunwing!

First time staying in Sunwing and thought it was terrific, very friendly and helpful staff, couldn’t do enough for you, excellent pool area, in lobby is 6 PC's if you want to read emails or keep in touch back home, room too very high standard, cooker, fridge, microwave, safe, TV, phone, double marble sinks in bathroom, air conditioning, cant smoke in rooms but you can smoke on balcony, never tried any of the restraints or entertainment in complex so cant comment, shops bars and eating out about 5 mins walk away, waited on average about 3 mins for taxi if going out, would definitely recommend the trip too Loro Parque which can be booked through your rep, all in all an excellent resort and will be definitely back sometime soon.

Having stayed at the Sunwing this September we would more than likely consider visiting another sunwing resort again. The hotel is in a slightly quieter area of las americas, but only a short journey away from main part.
The accommodation was superb, very clean and modern, felt like home. We opted for a larger apartment which was fully equipped with everything we needed. Also we didn’t have 1 cockroach in our apartment all holiday which I was well impressed with!
La Tasca Takeaway was great, some things a little expensive but ideal when you want something to take away if you fancy a night in. The mini market had everything you could almost ask for. Entertainment at night turned out to be a let down with bar and restaurant closing early. Nothing much ever really went off.
Also you need to get up early if you want to get a decent sun bed. It tends to get very busy around the pool area. The pool is nice but is rather small for the amount of guests.
They have a lot of daytime activities mainly in the pool. Water polo was a daily thing, the game took up almost half the pool. Most of the people playing where adult men so as you can probably imagine the game got rather rough with the ball shooting in all directions. All good fun though as long as you don’t get hit!
Staff all really friendly. This is more of a family hotel but I would recommend it to anyone.

Went on a last minute holiday to Tenerife to Sunwing Fanabe. Great place. Would recommend to families and groups. Lots of pool side activities and entertainment, but not pressured to take part if you want a lazy holiday. Staff very friendly.
Apartments very clean, air con, and fully equipped with TV, DVD, kitchenette, fridge. Very large bathrooms and balconies. Location great only a couple of minutes to the beach and a short taxi or bus ride to the Aqua Park.
Our apartment faced out to the local side street. We watched live football on Wayne's World Pub's Plasma Screen from our balcony. Great view.
Enjoyed the holiday. Would recommend again.

Please book larger room as we had family room for 3 adults and 1 child very small.
1 bathroom 2 single beds, 1 sofa bed 1 camp bed, very clean but not big. Entertainment no good. No smoking so be warned, lots of sun beds, pool gets very packed out.
Drinks at bar very expensive, better off walking to bars along beach. Bahamas 2 very good steaks, bay view British bar good singers, lots of hair braiding, looky, looky men.

I went on holiday with my boyfriend and it was fantastic. I'd recommend it for couples and families definitely. The shops, restaurants and bars were all very close. A lot of entertainment about in the daytime and evening in the hotel. We watched the football there a few times and the atmosphere was great! There were a few English bars, one called the Hawaii bar were we did a pub quiz and some woman came round showing everyone matchstick tricks! So even if you had kids they would be entertained.
The other was called the bay view which was our favorite. There was two live acts on every night, we seen Elvis, queen, a drag show and Neil Diamond. That was brilliant fun! We even went for an all you can eat Chinese at a bargain 5.95 euros. It was reasonably cheap over there and I would definitely return and stay in the same hotel. It was very clean.
The maids changed our bedding every day bar two days were they would leave a card saying they would not be coming in the next day just to remind you. We went to loro parque, which was brilliant as well. Lots of animals and shows it was like sea world. The sea lion show was the best!

Excellent Holiday. Staff were very nice and helpful. Very clean. Rooms cleaned very day bar 2. Rooms were a good size. Always help at hand if there was any problems.
Day of departure there was a room to use if you had a late departure. Around the swimming pool always a lifeguard. Excellent children’s facilities.
Entertainment was Excellent shows at night time in the show bar was the best I have seen in a hotel for a long time. Would recommend Sunwing to anyone.

The Hotel was fantastic; all the staff were very helpful. The staff all spoke numerous different languages, which made everything so much easier. The whole hotel is children friendly, from the pools to the excellent La Tasca restaurant.
Although the breakfast in "Fino" restaurant could do with some work.
Our 3 children ages; 1,5,11 all were entertained on a daily basis. A fantastic family holiday and we are already planning our next year’s holiday to a different "sunwing" resort.

It has to be said that these are the best apartments we have ever stayed in. We opted for the larger apartment which the brochure suggests sleeps 3-4 people. The rooms were very large, ours had a combined kitchen / living area, a large double bedroom & 2 bathrooms, 2 toilets, 1 bath & 3 power showers and a large double balcony.
The rooms are kept very clean & all of the staff are very polite & approachable. We did not use any of the eating facilities (2 restaurants which also do a takeaway service) but the food looked good and is all very reasonably priced.
The pool area is great but does get busy - sun beds can be hard to come by if you arrive at the pool after 9.30. The sun terraces are a good alternative, much quieter with their own showers & just a glass lift ride away from the pool.
The resort itself has many different bars & restaurants (all with their own PR outside trying to drag you in!) and the food is really cheap compared to the UK, sirloin steak & all the trimmings was around 6 euros (£4!).
Beer is also very cheap, but check the price of the soft drinks in the really cheap places, beer can be around 1Eu per pint but coke can be around 4Eu per pint and unless you specify a small soft drink you will probably get a pint!
Overall a great apartment, great place, great holiday.

Just came back from the Sunwing I would of gave it a 5star rating. It was very clean staff was very helpful the entertainment was very good for children. I cant wait to book again for next year. The location was very good it only took 10 minutes to walk to the Puerto colon.
Where there are a load of restaurants and family bars. In the reception area they have a Playstation room. It cost 2 euros to go on the Playstation for 1 hour. The one bedroom apartments are quite small. So I would suggest having a large apartment that sleeps up to 5. At about 11am you can do aerobics in the pool. My children loved Lola the giraffe and Benji the bear that come round to see all the children round the pool. And they had splash playtimes for the children. And in the afternoon they had open play house.
So the children could go in there and play with toys or watch DVDs drawing etc. I go to Tenerife every year and these apartments have been best I have ever been too.

While the pool area was clean and safe. And the on site shop left you wanting for nothing. The Direct holiday staff were very good the hotel staff were not very helpful.
It was close to the beach.
All the apartment were clean and of a good size.
The only problem being that they let groups of lads stay there as well so come 2-3 am every one was woken up by the shouting this took 3 days before they were removed.
The weather was good for all the holiday and every thing you need was close by even if you did not want to walk there were always taxis waiting and for a few euros you could get to where you wanted.

The accommodation was so clean and really comfortable and the staff were excellent and friendly.
It is only 5 minutes to the beach and a vast amount of bars restaurants and shops and me and my family really enjoyed ourselves and I would recommend this to any family.
The good family bars are only a 10 minute walk from the apartments and there is also an aqua park close by, we even walked there though it takes about 20 mins if your pushing a buggy!
All in all a great holiday!
