Puente Real Reviews
" excellent holiday "
Submitted By: robert.taylor17the first time we stayed we went self catering and the appartment was ideal for 2 adults and 3 kids there was plenty for the kids to do and the staff were helpful.
The second time we stayed we were half board we had no complaints about the food there was plenty of choice and the food was always hot.
The hotel is in a nice quiet area right across from the beach. The other people who have given the Puente Real bad reviews must be writting about a different hotel as we are planning on going back again as its in my mind one of the best hotels i've stayed in
Advice: nice quiet area lovely walk up to the town plenty of shops and bars
Activities: the best restaurant is the Casa Paca which is just up from the hotel the staff were friendly

This hotel gives other all inclusive hotels a bad impression. Chaos in the dining room every day of the holiday. Food abismal. Hysterical amount of people in the hotel, so busy .Entertainment was terrible. Do the same thing every week. A number of us had upset stomachs. Spanish push and shove but hotel not to blame. Staff were sometimes ignorant. Pool area was ok problems were not being able to get sunbeds or umbrellas. There must have been about 6 umbrellas for 600 people. And with being a family of nine we needed at least one.
Things for kids to do in the day were probably the best thing which included face painting, football, making bracelets...etc. Things for adults to do aswell. Wouldn't stay again!!!! Not recommended.

" This hotel has strong good and bad... "
Submitted By: Mr M LandonThe good; it's clean and our room was cleaned everyday. The staff are polite and happy (except Maria at the pool bar, very rude.) The pool is nice, and the poolside snackbar is handy between all inc meals. The proximity to the beach is fantastic. The alcoholic drinks are all brands like San Miguel and Malibu, and they're not shy on their measures! It's also 10 mintues walk from the train station which can take you to neighbouring resorts or Malaga airport. Or it's only 10 min drive from the airport.
The bad; I was in the toilets next to the guy serving food at the snackbar, and after doing his business he didn't wash his hands and went back to serving food.
The food in the food hall is mostly of terrible quality. There is a large variety but they just can't get the simple things right; orange juice full of sugar, cereal that was stale, chicken that couldn't have been chicken, beans that were odd tasting and cold. The bread, soup, hams and water melons were the safest bets.
Most of our fellow holidaygoers seemed to be miserable and wouldn't exchange a single sentence over dinner, but that's not the hotel's fault.
It's about a half hour walk to the resort centre but there's a sprinkling of bars about 10 mins walk away, or a bus stop outside the hotel.
On our last day we stored our luggage in the locked luggage room, but this room doubled up as the tv room where guests were sitting around watching movies right next to our left luggage! Perfect opportunity to steal. They also said we could use the shower room which turned out to be a random room at the hotel. It was a disgusting run down room with used tissues and towels lying around, and a manky shower. It gave my missus the creeps.
I usually don't complain about things and keep it bottled up, but despite being a large and mostly well run hotel, it has some key areas it needs to improve on.
" this hotel was the best
i think that who ever went to this hotel and complained was a at another hotel.

Submitted By: NatskiI am 20 years old and i went with my boyfriend.
We paid for half board but ended up eating out most nights, and i had an orange for breakfast most days! There is plenty of restuarants to choose from, all of which serve excellent food.if you start to get home sick, visit the Tudor Rose, which serves excellent english grub!
There are some lovely irish and english bars.Molleys is a fantastic night out and about a 5 min. walk from the hotel.
The pool area is nice, but as with everywhere you have to get up at 6.30 to reserve a lounger.
Rooms, nice.Good size clean. The one thing i will say is the maid was a bit rude! She came in the afternoon whilst i was having a kip and shunned me out of the bed!
Entertainment is all for children, but for them is it good. Not much for adults, but the area around the hotel has loads to offer anyway.
I would go there again, but would definatly be self catering.

Submitted By: Mrs A BrownThe location was excellent position in a quiet part of town on the beach. The town centre is up hill and about 1km away however there is a bus which stops outside the hotel which will take you there or a taxi costs just 7€.
Entertainment as with most of these hotels was a hit and a miss but if you have an open mind and free drinks you just make the most of it. I would be happy to return to this hotel.
