Nonsmoker's nightmare from Iowan_guy
Our problems with this hotel fell into several categories. AIR CONDITIONING The only nonsmoking rooms are on the top floor of the main building. Due to the open-air design, all the not air rises to this floor and hence the corridors are hot like a sauna. The air conditioning in the rooms is very weak and you cannot get the temperature down to a comfortable range. Moreover, they turn off the air conditioner from 3 to 6 a.m. They claimed that the Kemer government required this but I don't buy it, given the other complains here... more

Have just returned from this resort hotel. We stayed for 14 nights and had a wonderful time, there is so much to do within the complex, the swimming pools are very large and very clean, the staff are very friendly and helpful, it is easy to find your way around despite the fact it is a large complex. We were in one of the fame garden rooms which was very nice, it was a large room with a good size bath and power shower, hot water was always available. Where do I start...... This hotel is great! I have been to many destinations and sampled various board types but the Limra Park has by far surpassed my expectations. The hotel itself is huge. Has lovely guest rooms and plenty of space. The pool scene is excellent too with a choice of quiet, Kiddies or lively pools to sunbathe by. The beach is literally by the main swimming pool (however is a shingle beach so shoes needed at all times!). My partner and I have just returned from the limra hotel (2/10/05 - 17/10/05) and we miss it already. I cannot stress how brilliant this hotel is: *Our Room* Our room was located in the Limra Park which we already knew, it was on the first floor and we had a fantastic pool view facing the taurus mountains. Limka Limra Hotel Review The resort – This hotel is in Kiris which is about 5 km past Kemer, Kiris is pretty much a purpose built resort with a stretch of shingle beach lined with 5 star hotels, the resort has a small street of shops ( the usual bags, clothes, jewelry etc ) and a few bars and restaurants, it also has a chemist, telephones and banks/cashpoints however there is not much more beyond this which we knew and this suited us down to the ground as we did not plan to leave the complex at all. we were so excited to go to this hotel after reading the previous 3 reviews. we arrived with our 2 kids aged 8 and 6 to an unprepared room with broken curtains, dirty bath and loose electric wiring. after finally sorting out the room 2 days later we decided to look for the positives. the hotel is mainly full of germans and russians and one does have to be as loud and rude as everyone else if you want to get served by the bar staff. it was difficult for the children to make friends due to the language barrier. the kids club is hotel run... more

We visited Limra in June 2005 and were not sure what to expect because the hotel seemed enormous and could have been impersonal. This wasn't the case at all and it turned out to be the best holiday we've ever had! There were various aspects that made the stay so good but the entertainment team were easily the best thing. Went on holiday last August 2 kids 7 & 1 plus another family and can't fault this hotel. Everything deserves 5*. Room large, comfortable, decent balconies and aircon. Children's pools had sun canopies and the older kids loved the waterslides which were always lifeguard attended. There were only 2 or 4 other English families there that we saw, mainly Russian and German and Turkish tour operators use this property; but don't let this put you off-the staff were friendly and speak English very well.
