My holiday at Julian forest was amazing! Yes the wasps were a slight problem as I did get sung twice and am allergic to stings. The staff were very friendly, and I still keep in touch with some, Rasim x x . Although, some of the staff can be a little over friendly.
Pool was spacious and clean, kids loved the big slides, the pool table and the Playstation. Food was moderately priced, as well as drinks. Although the hotel is at the edge of Icmeler it is only a short, in expensive ride on the dolmus.
Been to Icmeler 4 times and all have been brilliant holidays, Icmeler is a excellent resort and I would strongly recommend you visit the restaurant Bart Simpson’s Place, for fit waiters, friendly staff, good cheap food and a memorable time, also if you have kids the friends bar is mind blowing, with glass bottle juggling, fire eating, good music and brilliant friendly staff:-) x x

For the first time ever myself and my fiancé got exactly the holiday we were promised by any tour operator. Ever!
We're both in our mid 20's and had a ball. We would recommend this place to all of our friends (which we have) and we met some great people there whom we made friends with and still see regularly. Trust us you won’t go far wrong!
So much did we enjoy the holiday that after another year of Spanish mediocre med holidaying that we are on our way back to stay for another 2 weeks (hopefully as good as the last) of pure bliss.
Congrats to the people involved in putting such a top resort together. See you by the pool!

This is one of the best holidays I’ve been on, I really didn’t want to come home, everyone was sooo nice out there!
Apart from our flight from Bristol being delayed for 2 hours and then the coach to take us to our hotel wasn't at the airport when we arrived, we had the best time ever!
The waiters at the hotel were great, they couldn't do enough for you! My faves were Apo and Oscar! They are so cool!
We went into town most nights to have some food and a lot of cocktails! The Lion restaurant is the best place ever, I loved it there! Linekers is great too, they put and actual fire work in your cocktail, its great!
The co-owner of the Lion is Welsh, and is from Barry in Wales which is where I come from so we had a lot to talk about!
So all in all, this holiday was great, my boyfriend and I will be returning next year with my mum and sisters!

We got back this morning, and apart from the fact we were quite a way out, i can not complain at all.
Yes the wasps were a pain but the staff came over with dry coffee in a bowl and set it alight, that soon kept the wasps away. The dolmus run every 10min and it was dirt cheap.
This was my second visit to Icmeler and we could not believe that although it was 3yrs ago the people still recognized us, and I don’t mean by face, they actually remembered our names.
I would not hesitate to go back, even to the Julian Forest. The hotel was clean, staff friendly and helpful and it was out of the way but if it is quiet you’re looking for then yes, if it is hustle and bustle you’re looking for, then again yes, just jump on the bus.

Just come back from this accommodation. We booked a week allocation on arrival, so we were not sure what we'd get. We'd thought we'd end up in some scummy rooms above some tacky bar.
Thank God for Julian Forest! Despite the fact the transfer was appalling and took 4hrs as the rep on the bus was new and didn't know where anything was, she was also incapable of communicating to the driver! When we arrived at this isolated accommodation I have to admit I had my reservations, but on arrival the staff were very helpful and we checked in quickly. The room was fantastic, I have never seen self catering facilities like this abroad before, there was everything you could want and everything worked. There was even a bath in the bathroom!!
I found the pool to be clean, a tad cold, but that’s why God invented swimming to keep you warm. The restaurant had the best food we had in Icmeler, and the drinks no more expensive than in the town itself. (3.5 lira)
Easy peasy to get to the town on the dolmus, 1 lira to Icmeler, 1.50 lira to Marmaris (pay the second driver if going to Marmaris). 5 lira for a taxi, they'll try to get more than this from you.
Icmeler itself was Ok, not as many grabby people as in Marmaris, but actually we preferred Turunc, which is the next resort along and is much quieter. That’s just our preference though, I guess some people would like all the loud bars and fuss (Oh and I am in my 20's actually!).
If you won’t a sandy beach, don't bother.
Trips we did, was Jeep Safari (excellent), Turkish bath (worth doing!), Boat Trip (good, but full of chavs!). Turkish Night in Marmaris, (very good but don't expect much in the way of food).
Favourite restaurant of the week, apart from the hotel was Kontes on the sea front, the staff there were great!
All in all, I had a great time. But I would only recommend this accommodation for those who like to be away from the fuss. If you want banging tunes and big nights out, go to Marmaris.

Excellent restful place well clean as would expect from first week of opening. Allocated on arrival and was well pleased. Spot of bother with one waiter over the women but that is turkey. Bar staff expected drinks for free from visitors but was put right, from the start.
Reception fantastic and would go again. Transfer time was one and half hours from airport but was worth it.
Dolmus and taxi's run from outside hotel. Far too much of a distance from Icmeler to walk. Pine forest surrounds the secluded hotel and all was well tranquil, even with the kids playing it was nice.
Food very good and Icmeler is cheap as well with plenty of eateries and bars. Marmaris not too far either. All good.

We went to Julian Forest as a family of 7 - 4 adults & 3 children (ages 14, 15, 16) - We all had a fantastic time, especially the kids.
We enjoyed the pool area, the food was great and not too expensive the drinks reasonable (especially during happy hour)
The rooms were very clean and plenty big enough for a family of 4.
The staff were very friendly and helpful we had no problems at all with any area of the holiday.
The "kids" loved the night life only thought it ended a bit early at 12 O’clock
We are going back to Icmeler this year and would go to Julian Forest but would like to stay closer to the centre this time.
P.S. the kids loved the slides - they made lots of friends in this hotel and the one next door!!!!!!!!!!
Great time had by all...

Hotel was gorgeous, our apartment was very spacious (was 5 of us, and plenty of room) also was extremely clean.
Staff were soo friendly, especially Anil, Haluk, Gokhan, Sezgin, Mehmet 1 & 2, Umit, Omut, Fatih & Can. Kept in touch with most of them especially Anil love ya!
You have got to go on a boat trip, we went on the Mega Diana was really good and Turkish baths are great for relaxing.
Even though are hotel was quite set back from the centre of Icmeler, there was a Dolmus every 5 or so minutes and was cheap.
Icmeler is more of a relaxing resort whereas Marmaris is more partying resort.
Overall had a great time there, going back next year, not too sure which hotel we are staying but definitely going back to Icmeler.

Surrounded by mountains so sun only appeared 11am till 4pm on only half the pool area!!
Very cold at night, take jumper!!! Pool- the coldest I have ever felt!! No wonder it is so clean - nobody was in it!!
Apartments though were the best I have been in - though it takes more than this to have a good holiday.
Wasps and bees are everywhere (I do mean everywhere!!)around pool area - can't keep balcony door open even. And they do land and sting!! - never worry about flies again!
I was told by rep that this was a problem last year too - why travel company not tell me when booking????
Restaurant was expensive as is drinks, except for happy hour - half price!
No courtesy bus (though told by travel rep and tour op there was) though there is the local transport to town. You cannot use if you have young family, no place to put buggy, etc. Some families were moved when I was there because of this problem!!
Would I recommend it? Hhhmmm...
Nope!!
PS. You expect small issues during a holiday but I have holidayed for over 20years and this was the first time I felt the need to officially complain - Sorry :-(

Ok this was thee best holiday ever!!!
The staff are very friendly including Haluk, Fattie, the Captain Chaglar and Mehmet who all made my holiday special!!
The hotel was very clean, cleaned every day, the food was Delish!! the rooms and pool where huge and the shop was very useful.
Overall Julian Forest is the best place to be if your considering going to turkey don’t let others put this place down as it is like a second home to me.
Just for the record yes Mehmet is fit and i had a very special holiday romance thanks to him and we still keep in touch xx.
If you meet the staff don’t be afraid to ask them to keep in touch I have and I’m happy that were still in touch.
If you are going to Julian Forest enjoy your holiday and I’m sure you’ll have just as good a time as I did.

The hotel was amazing and outstandingly clean. The rooms were cleaned out on a regular basis and the cleaning staff were very friendly. The entertainment was quite poor but was quite well for the kids. As we visited just after the hotel had opened the facilities were n all open but were very good.
The staff were very helpful and would always help you with any problems experienced. Although a little pricey the food and drink are quite nice and of usual quantity. The hotel proved to be very fun but also relaxing and we will definitely be returning in the near future.
Anyone who says that this hotel is rubbish needs to be shot and its there fault for going there in the first place.

Julian Forest is fantastic. The rooms are perfect. There are two pools, one aimed at children mainly and the other just a normal shallow to deep pool. Both are well looked after and it is obvious everyone enjoys their activities.
The hotel entertainment is excellent, hosting activities at night and day. My son extremely enjoyed the kids club and was excited every single day. The one downside was the amount of wasps near the restaurant. They were without a doubt quite irritating, although I wasn't stung once.
The staff are incredible, extremely friendly and helpful! It is quite secluded although a dolmus is 99% of the time waiting to take you to the fun filled Icmeler or Marmaris at only 1 Lire per person! Julian Forest is definitely the place for a great holiday!
