This was our first holiday to Turkey and it was amazing!
I would deffinatly come back!
The staff there were fab. They were really friendly and always played with the children around the pool area. They were always joking around with the holidaymakers throwing them in the pool and getting them up dancing.
The evening entertainment was quite good some nights there were karaoke's and other nights there were shows. You could always take the bus into the local town where there are lots of pubs/clubs. There are always people trying to get you into there pub, but just laugh with them and they will be okay. Our favourite was Romeo's the food was great and the staff were really polite as it was a family business, they always liked to laugh and joke with you and if you go there regularly they offer to pick you up from your hotel and take you to their pub where they will give you a first drink free if you go for a meal there.
the rooms at esra were fab. They were very clean and cleaners came and changed the towels and made the beds everyday. If you had a fmaily room the room witht he double bed is seperated from the rest of the appartment so you get a little privacy.
There is air-conditioning in the rooms. If you want a safe you have to rent them out for the whole of your stay but they are in the Reception area downstairs.
The meals at ears were great there was something for the whole family. The breakfasts were not as good but you could even have burgers at breakfast which was a favourite for the younger ones, Haha.
There is a member of staff walking around through out the day taking photos of you and your family which you are able yo purchase at a small cost, they are of great quality and your to keep.
There is music playing trough out the day over the speakers around the pool, and the slides there are only available to use at certain times of the day but when you can use them i advise you to as they are great fun.
This was overall a Great holiday and if i could i would go back tomorrow.
The only thing i would say was wrong was the lifts as they stopped when my partner was in there and the emergency button didnt work. He was only stuck in there for a couple of minutes until they worked again, but it scared the life out of him and he nearly fainted when he came out.
The staff are a credit to the hotle.

This was our first time to the Esra Apartments in Turkey, we absolutely loved it; the room was cleaned daily, clean towels and bedding changed frequently. The staff were amazing, very friendly and always there to help. The food was good, the nite entertainment was fantastic always something going off, the best of Esra nite was great and the barbecue nite was great too.
The manager of the Esra is always available on site. Memit was great he always made you feel welcome everytime he saw you. The pools were cleaned everyday and the waterslides were amazing too. We had a mainpool view room on the 6th floor which was ok. Nite entertainment finished about 1am so everyone got to sleep, the kids loved it and we're hoping to go back to Esra Apartments in August 2008. I would recommend these apartments to everyone, excellent.

I went to Turkey last year with my mum, dad and brother. It was my first time there and the room was nice but a bit small, the hotel was fabulas. But we didn't eat up there or anything. We were mostly in Altinkum nightlife especially at the Big Nose bar. I didn't get any names of the staff apart from Jason and he was nice talking to me and being friendly. I would defently go there again.

Our first holiday to Turkey. First impressions of the Esra were not great, felt as though we were staying in "Blackpool in the sun!"
Loud music played until about 12ish at night, not too great if you are overlooking the main pool and want to get some sleep. Once music finished the waiters don't hesitate to talk loudly to each other until the early hours of the morning.
Pool's very nice; recommend the smaller pool with the slides rather than the main pool, as it has a nicer atmosphere. The small shop at the Esra is quite expensive, cheaper prices can be found in the small supermarkets in Altinkum.
Night life at the Esra is good; the first time you watch it, but the same routines are repeated week after week, which becomes boring. Certain waiters can be pushy for you to attend the entertainment. Also, watch out for some of the waiters - especially if you have a teenage daughter, my daughter was pestered all holiday.
Our room was very basic, and our balcony almost non-existent. We were one of the unlucky ones to have had one of the corner rooms which had very little space. However, if you are lucky enough to be given a bigger room, your balcony will be much more spacious.
Altinkum itself was lovely, great nightlife, so many different places to choose to eat in, and lots of shops open at night, people very friendly and welcoming. We loved visiting the third beach, which you can get a free dolmus bus to. Water sports available there. Deniz beach bar was great for both evening and lunchtime meals. We would definatly go back to Altinkum, but not the Esra.
Recommend Pinocchio’s and Ikbals for meals out - great service and fantastic food.
Overall Turkey was lovely!

Nice apartments and full of the usual amenities, but be prepared for constant ear shattering piped music around pool areas from 11am till entertainment starts at 7pm.
Then await the drunken behaviour and noise till at last 4.30am the next day, as a result of poor management control and a 24 hour bar --- not a relaxing venue.

Great hotel, clean apartments, not all spacious. All cleaned daily. Nightly entertainment if you like that sort of thing. Staff all friendly and good with the kids. Pool and table tennis have to be paid for, court for tennis and football which is free. Pools and slides were great. All round very enjoyable and our boys are 8 and 7.
Third beach and Deniz Restaurant excellent. One word of warning, my son came back with horrendous ear infection and I have sinusitis, both can be caught from infected water, could be the pool.
Apart from that really enjoyable, just far enough out of town, 10 minute walk or 1 lira on Dolmus. All restaurants mentioned are good, Robin Hood, Family Door etc.
Great time, you will enjoy.

I am 13 years old, it was my first time in Turkey and I’m so going back again.
All the staff are great especially Alex and Eddy, I had so much fun with them on the waterslides and all day through, I miss everyone!
Every night there is entertainment on, if it's not karaoke it's BBQ night or the Turkish night. All the entertainment is great! All through the day they work and then at night they work even more and the waiters I don't know where they get there energy from, you can buy all the music that they play thanks to DJ Moses. Even when your there you don't just watch them they get you up dancing as well.
Also Altinkum itself is really nice, they do bother but you get use to it, and if you go you must eat at Nigels at least once because the food and the service is excellent.
I cant fault any part of my holiday, I’m going back next year again to the same hotel and everything, I’ve never seen people work so hard as them the pool opens at 9:00am and closes at 6:00pm because they clean all the pool out every night move the sun beds neatly put away, bring out table and chairs for the entertainment.
When the nights over the entertainment finishes at 12:00pm but you can go down to the disco or still chill out because they will play music as long as people are there, and then they set out all the sun beds again for the following day, and they do this every night!!
They are the nicest people I’ve ever met, I didn’t want to leave, and they make you feel so welcome and like you had known them for ages, so I can’t wait for next year.
I recommend the Esra Apart to anyone who wants a good family holiday!

This was our first time in Turkey, didn’t know what to expect. The Esra apartments where everything we hoped for, clean, family friendly with brilliant staff who work very hard day and night (missing you guys already-jason,micheal, 2mehmets,mad eddie,jj,ali, sam, nazan and all the others)and are always happy and helpful.
The pools are a good size with slides that open 3 times a day. The BBQ and Turkish night are good with plenty to eat and all the staff entertaining. Just a short walk away is dolphin square where you will find lots of bars & restaurants also plenty of shops with loads of bargains.
The Turkish people are very nice and so friendly.
My kids all loved it and hopefully we will be back next year.

I went with a friend and we both had an amazing time. There where allot of families but although we went just us we still got spoken to allot by staff and other people there.
The staff are amazing. Had a good time with them on Turkish night and bbq night. Defiantly would recommend-the hotel was totally amazing and didn’t expect it to be so good. The bar and market are also 24hour.Awsome.
I would suggest you ask someone to show you where dolphine square is (where the bars are) it’s easy to get to if you know where about it is. If not. You will get lost.
They are all extremely helpful and entertaining even during the day by the pool side
Going to book again for end of year

We went to turkey as a party of six adults and three children,we would all agree that the holliday was great. The beach was a very long walk away as was the the main resort. The food and drinks we found very expensive in the hotel. The staff were allways up for a laugh ,but sometimes takeing this a little too far by throwing children and adults into the pool. The music round the pool was very loud and went on from morning to night. The air con is a must but be prepared to pay, also expect a few problems on the way.If considering going on this holliday take the didim water park trip it was cheap. These small complaints hav'nt put us off wanting to return this year...
