My Aytap Hotel

the hotel was very clean staff were great .but management were very strict only buy water from hotel bar and it was three times the price from shop. my wife is diabetic and needs small snacks on hand at all times. we were told no food was allowed in room i tried to explain to manager but he still said no food in room allowed . a couple who arrived with us were on honeymoon and had a bottle of champagne with them to celibrate management tried to take it off them. second week of holiday a load of polish hairdressers arrived they were given... more

The Aytap is a good hotel, it's situated right next to the beach, and about 10 minutes away from a good group of restaurants and shops. The only bad thing about it is the prices. You get charged 5€ per day to keep things in your minibar, so you end up sneaking crisps etc. back to the room when you dont want to pay the ridiculous prices at the hotel. It works out at around 6YTL for a large Efes beer, which you can get for 2 or 3 elsewhere, even on their beach opposite. The pool area is very nice, very clean, and usually not... more

hotel basic but clean, staff not very friendly, management not much better. stupid rules, no food or water in rooms unless bought at hotel, obviously higher prices!! card system used for payment at hotel charged at inflated prices, for every £5 on card only got goods value £3.90. i actually had a bottle of water taken off me that i had bought from aytap market which i thought belonged to hotel, watch out it doesn't. watch out for charges on mini bar, if you use it for your own items you get charged 5euros a day and they check it every... more

Great Hotel, clean friendly and 20 metres from the beach (across the road). Rooms: We had a side view room, when we asked our holidayrep we got a sea view room the same day, it was really worth it. Clean rooms with new bedding every day. Be aware that you get charged for food and water left in the fridge, i think it's a couple of euros. Staff: The staff were amazing really friendly and helpful. OUR REVIEW - Mike & Lizzy Peters. Lets not forget this is only a 2 star hotel but despite being very basic we had a superb time. The location is right opposite the beach and just a short bus trip away from the town centre and harbour. The staff are just brilliant and make every effort to make your stay an enjoyable one. Hotel was basic but clean to start with could have been cleaned better especially the shower tray. We understand the ownership just changed and believe it has not improved, in fact there is much room for improvement as far as courtesy goes on the part of the management. Hotel rooms were basic but clean. Situated more on the outskirts of town but opposite nice, clean beach. One word of warning to any females DO NOT USE THE 'PICK UP SERVICE'. My friend and I did this and two members of staff picked us up, drove us to unlit areas on the outskirts of town, despite our pleas to go to aytap. I'm quite sure things would have got a lot more nasty than they were already getting if we had not jumped out of the car. This was the nicest hotel I have stayed in for a long time! The room was very basic but it was clean and their was plenty of pressure and hot water in the shower. The staff couldnt of been friendlier, and the food was magnificent! With the beach just across the street and sun loungers to rent for a mere price of 2 Euros, it was certainly very relaxing!!! I will definately be going back to stay there some time in the near future! more

Aytap Hotel was very friendly, clean and a very good hotel! I stayed there this summer(04) and enjoyed the scenery and the choice of food from the Aytap Restaurant. It is ideal for families.

aytap hotel was very nice clean, friendley staff we had a good view of the beach from our hotel room the main road is very busy and at times a bit noisey the hotel next door plays loud music. A good place to stay alanya is a beautiful place there is plenty to do and see so go and enjoy what it has to offer. more
