Cortijo Blanco Hotel

I spent 2 weeks in this hotel and it was the best holiday I have ever been on.
The 3 pool are very nice and clean. The food was lovely and there was plenty to choose from. The drinks are all lovely but please don’t expect any bottled alco-pops, the free drinks are just your classic spirits, wines and local beers which after a while can get a bit boring if you don’t like to try new drinks.
The entertainment was absolutely fantastic both day and night. I would recommend having a go at all the sports each day to win your certificates. If you win 5 certificates you get a medal announced on stage each night. (Be aware that there are 2 people whom take part in all the games during the day called Hermund and Kathryn, they actually live at the hotel so win quite a bit).
Overall the hotel is very good and I would recommend it to anyone.

We went to the Cortijo Blanco for a one week stay. The hotel is immaculately clean. The food is adequate - however you often had to wait for the hot food to be filled up again.
The transfer time is 1 hour and 45 minutes. The resort itself is on a main road and I mean the M1 outside your front door - but funny enough you cannot hear any road noise at all so don’t be put off by this fact.
The beach is stony but only a short, pleasant 5 minute walk away. The hotel is very remote with only a supermarket and a couple of shops, bars nearby. If you want to get out and about go with viva Andalusia - they are excellent - we went to Gibraltar and had a fabulous day out - we did the rock tour of st.michaels caves, saw the monkeys and went shopping - embassy 200s only £7, 1 litre of famous grouse whiskey £4.70 - mega cheap.
They had a pool table which took 2 x £1 euro which is quite steep and even more frustrating when reception will not give you change. Overall I would give this hotel 6/10 - it was a nice and relaxing break and when your food and drinks are all inclusive you cant really complain.

This hotel is fantastic! Me and my family all had a wonderful time. The rooms are lovely and are cleaned daily, the food is great and the nighttime entertainment is alot better than expected.
The best night entertainment on is the Mr Cortijo Blanco competition you can’t miss it the things they do are hilarious.
The daytime activities are fun and there are three pools to have fun by. Also there is a indoor bar which the entertainment is in if it is bad weather. The only bad bit was we had a room near the stage so you cant go to bed till midnight as the entertainment is on. There is stuff for the kids to do and the staff are all very friendly and speak fluent German , French, Spanish and English. There are loads of kids so your kids are bound to make friends!
All in all a great holiday and I would advise you to go.
