Hotel Rural Almazara is found in the county of the Axarquia, situated between the two brother towns of Frigiliana and Nerja, tucked into the mountains and living face to the sea. It’s the preferencial place for some perfect holidays all year round. Due to it’s location it has the priviledge of being just 40 minutes away from the airport, 20 minutes from Malaga City, a drive of around 1 ½ hrs. to reach Granada (Alhambra, Generalife etc...), 2hrs away from the Sierra Nevada with it’s uncomparable peaks. Just a stone’s throw away there is the famous Nerja Caves discovered in 1959, some of the most beautiful caves in Europe.

Very good small and friendly hotel with very pleasant staff. All rooms had a sunny terrace which looked out over the sea. Has a good restaurant, where breakfast is also served. Plenty of choices for breakfast, with some variety each day. Only... read more
