Very good small and friendly hotel with very pleasant staff. All rooms had a sunny terrace which looked out over the sea. Has a good restaurant, where breakfast is also served. Plenty of choices for breakfast, with some variety each day. Only slight problem was a smell of bad drains about 7pm each evening, but some work was done one day which involved turning off the water supply during the day and which may have been connected to the problem. It seemed to help for a while. Would definitely go again.

This hotel is well situated between 2 great places, Nerja and Frigiliana, however a car is essential for travelling around as there is a local bus stop on the road outside but i only saw buses going in frigiliana direction and didnt see any coming back.It is kept very clean and rooms are well equipped except the mirror over the dressing table was too high to make up/ do your hair when sitting on the stool provided. We used it as a base really and were pleased to be told breakfast was till 11am. however two mornings running my coffee was lukewarm and on asking for a fresh pot on the second occasion, the waiter first checked his watch, it was 10.30, and said ''well it will be 2 or 3 minutes''. No smiles or apologies which made me feel a nuisance. Some of the crockery was chipped and both main waiters were always preoccupied relaying tables for lunch which made you feel a bit rushed. The food was ok, not great but adequate although it ran out quickly so we learnt to get there 9.30 ish.
The first night we arrived late and opted for dinner at the hotel, i chose steak, bad move if you dont like it rare, i sent t back politely asking for a little more cooking but it was still too red for me so i left it. When the plates were collected i apologised that i hadnt ate it but i heard it being slammed in the bin and voices raised, again i felt like i was in the wrong!
Another chap staying there asked for coffee one morning to be brought to the terrace but the waiter declined as he (the waiter) had his girlfriend with him.
None of this spoilt our holiday as we met lovely people and ate in some great restaurants and saw some beautiful views and sights.
The reception staff were lovely and helpful and the maids were delightful
