" Excellent chilled holiday "

I booked this holiday on a allocate on arrival, we were given a room in the apartment part that looked like small shallets around the pool on the end and was surprised this was the holiday we had booked. For the price we paid this was one of the nicest relaxing holidays i have been on. There are a few shops and a few restaurants including a great little bar and fish restaurant. I would recommend this holiday/ part od menorca and after just googling i have decided that i am going to book again this summer.
The is a gorgeous port about 15/20 mins in a taxi away where you can spend a great night out if you want more lively bars and restaurants.
Do not be dismayed by the poor review below it was a basic hotel in terms of no bar or restaurant in the hotel but you are ony 5 mins walk from the village and who goes on holiday to sit in the hotel all night anyway!!!
hope you have as fantastic holiday as i did :)

Advice: great for couples and familys - not for partying holiday

Activities: the port was gorgeous, the fish restaurant in the small shoping area and the english bar.

Good for: Beach

" I have been to Binibeca regularly... "

I have been to Binibeca regularly over the past 25 years and have stayed at the Club many times.

I do always request rooms in the "new" building, as the rooms are larger and have Jacuzzi.

The original building is tired and in need of upgrading.

With 3 pools and a bar and restaurant you can't go wrong. Perfect location on the edge of the sea and so relaxing.

Yes I will be there again soon, without doubt.

" The overall standard of accommodation... "

The overall standard of accommodation was truly shocking, with the exception of the view the brochure and internet details bear little comparison to the stark reality that greeted us.

The furnishings were tired and dated, towels worn and holed, the knives and forks were dirty, as were the plates and assorted crockery. There was an electric fire, not that you were likely to use it, but there was no guard and no way of isolating the supply. Parents of young children should also note that the glass in the entrance doors and combination frame was no more than 2-4mm thick, therefore it was not toughened or safety glass, if broken the potential for a serious cut was in my opinion considerable.

What I find difficult to convey is the smell, damp old and musty, as if we were the first to occupy the villa for a year. With regard to security the front door was easily secured, but the rear door had a simple and faulty sliding bolt.

We immediately complained but as Style clearly view their guests as an irritating necessity, little was forthcoming. Two families decided to move paying an additional £720 to be upgraded.

There has probably been worst accommodation, but not since they decided to close the dungeons of Newgate prison.

You have been warned.

The bathroom lacked the basic essentials of a functioning toilet flush, no shower, what was provided was a shower head, when an attempt was made to use it the bath just backed up and wouldn't empty. The bathroom floors were stained and worn. adhoc tile repairs had been made with different coloured tiles and this just gave the bathroom a neglected look.

" I thought the resort was lovely,... "

I thought the resort was lovely, quiet and very relaxing . The choice of three pools meant they were never crowded.

The rooms were lovely and clean all you needed for the holiday so much so we are going back in June of this year 2006,where hopefully we will have an even better time .

The resort of Binibeca is quiet with bars and good places to eat out then after take a walk down to the water to watch the sun seta perfect end to a great holiday.

" Absolutely stunning location, a... "

Absolutely stunning location, a pretty whitewashed fishing village.

Very quiet with a handful of shops, restaurants and bars (the Chinese restaurant is wonderful) The rooms are lovely, most with a Jacuzzi bath (even though the kitchenette is tiny) Three swimming pools to choose from. Land train to take you into nearby Punta Prima.

I would highly recommend this holiday to anyone who wants a peaceful holiday.
