We booked this holiday last minute on a whim and it honestly was the best holiday we've ever had. We arrived at 2am having had an 8 hour delay at manchester airport. When we arrived our luggage was taken to our rooms whilst we checked in. Once in our rooms we found that... more

We stayed at creative mexicana hotel november 2008, myself and partner with three kids aged 15, 10, and 9. The hotel was what you expect of 3* clean tidy except for the room which was a little drabby/tired. The bathroom could do with a little modernising + shower was more... more

The hotel itself is pretty good. The rooms are a good size, beds are also pretty big, free air-con. They're very clean and are made up every day. There is also a minibar that you have to pay for but it is cheap. The food is ok. Nothing special but then again it's not awful.... more

Nice clean hotel, but not 5 star as stated. We had a double room which was large and comfortable. Bedding was changed daily. Air con is free, which is good because the tempreture was in the 40's almost every day. Food was repetitive buffee style in the main restaurant,... more

Being our 7th visit to Sharm we thought we would try a different hotel. Unfortunately this one was disappointing to say the least. Very poor breakfast (even by Egyptian standards) and even worse bar snacks. Only a couple of the hotel staff were helpful and reception were... more

Lovelly Hotel
Me and Boyfriend have just come back from staying at this hotel. We found the Hotel Really good, Clean and the staff were very friendly. Get on the right side of your cleaner and he will leave you some cool shapes on the bed with your towels.. We stayed on a B&B basis so we ate out down in Naama Bay, although we did eat at the hotel on our first night at Alfredo's restaurant, the food was not fantastic. There are two pools here, the smaller one is nice and quiet and the larger one with the pool bar has music playing all day -... more
very reasonalble hotel
just got back from a 2 week holiday at this hotel and was pleasently surprised, as the last last review was not quite great. teh all inclusive food was really bad but everything else made up for it, the rooms were large and comfortable and all air conditioned and very, very clean. The pool bar food was very nice i only really ate the burger they do, which is chargrilled and they were always well cooked in a clean enviroment as they take hygine very seriously. On the subject of food the breakfast at the hotel isn't worth getting up for, but... more
nice & clean but noting spectacular
The hotel is quite clean but nothing special. All Inclusive is not what t means here. Cold drinks in the room including water are extra. The only free alchol was local beer (low alchol level) where 1 small bottle was split into 2 glasses, and spirits were knock off gin, vodka & whisky. Meals times were a laugh only diffrent variaties on chicken, beef (this meant burgers or sausage or stew), fish and pasta. Same thing each day was not very appeling. The veg was cold & under cooked, somedays tasted raw. Only children could have french fries... more
Friendly, Quiet, Relaxing Hotel
Stayed for 10 days A.I. Very average food. Made the most of it for 5 days, partly coz friends arrived at a different hotel and had arranged to eat out with them in evenngs AND yes the food was repetative and should of been hotter. Alchohol available all day till 11pm, local stuff but actually didn't take full advantage as aware of heat (and it was v hot)and booze don't mix. Had lots of soft drinks and water in day and didn't have a problem with plastic cups, we were around a pool for goodness sake! No snacks in A.I just cake and tea or... more
Staff friendly, atmosphere gorgeous (all inclus & food v.poor!)
We have just returned from a weeks stay in the Mexicana. We felt special from the moment we landed in Egypt - Yahir the rep from tour company was very professional and his english was better than mine. He noted to us that a reasonable tip for various services would be about 50pence (GBP) though this was not obligatory. We originally booked on a half board basis and seemed to think from previous reviews that it would be a good idea to upgrade to an all inclusive, but on closer inspection there was little extra to gain from all inclusive,... more
All Inclusive Not!!!!!!!!!!
We have just returned from a 2 week holiday from hell in the mexicana. The food was terrible with each of my family at some point having tummy bugs and feeling ill (not what you want in 40 degree heat with 3 small kids) the food was also very tasteless and exactly the same on offer every mealtime. DONT GO ALL INCLUSIVE! It isnt what you think it is going to be. snacks have to be paid for as do drinks after 11pm. Ice creams are only served between 4pm and 5pm for one hour and the children must be younger than 8yrs old. We were informed that... more
very friendly hotel
my partner and I have just returned from the mexicana sharm and I must say I am surprised by the recent reviews of the hotel. We stayed on a b+b basis which suited us fine but dont expect a great deal of choice (lots of eggs!). We found the pool bar for snacks at lunchtime more than adequate for the cheap price. Pizza Hut,KFC and Mcdonalds will all deliver to reception for free if you fancy a change for lunch (these are based in Naama Bay but food piping hot when arrived). We ate out in Naarma Bay at night. I would definately... more
I give you special price....
Just returned from Mexicana with my mum. Rooms were beautiful, huge powerful walk in showers, spacious rooms and terrace and large comfortable single beds. We went B&B but ate at the Italian Alfredos a few times, food was lovely and staff were 100 times nicer than in the main restaurant. Want to mention Ayman who is a star, extremely friendly and helpful and puts the other staff to shame. Avoid going to the shop next door to Alfredos as the guy who runs it is too touchy feely and made me feel extremely uncomfortable on my last day there.... more
Nice hotel shame about the manager
I have been to this hotel twice, but never in my life have i seen a manager treat staff the way i did here. this manager was nasty and i did actually see him physically hit a member of staff, his overall attitude was very bad and he has done no favours for this hotel, as the last tiime i went there i had a fab time, the staff were so freindly and helpful that i made a lot of good friends who i keep in touch with, but this manager was horrible and i know that he has pushed staff out of work when it is so hard to find work there in the first... more
Nice Hotel, Bad Service
Me and my partner have just come back from the mexicana resort its a lovely hotel rooms are nicely furnished with plenty of room and very clean, the food was nice but it was the same kind of thing every day 70% off the staff lacked customer service skills and seemed very rude at times the shuttle bus was very good arrived on time and the driver was plesant also a local taxi outside the hotel was very good. the mexican beach is rocky its ok for sunbathing and has no fish in there as the water is shallow, but the... more
