Stamos Apartments
, FalirakiStamos Apartments Reviews
I have just come back for a weeks holiday (18-30) with 6 friends, and we had the time of our lives in Faliraki. I would definitely recommend the area's nightlife, but just a warning that sometimes the nightlife is only available to people on organised 18-30's or Olympic holidays, so book through them. Stamos itself was brilliant, the staff were extremely friendly, (sometimes too friendly, watch out for pervy Nikos), and our rooms were cleaned regularly. We were lucky to have rooms situated in the "new block", which had been done up really nicely and in good taste. The only slight downfall with these rooms was the showers- the water sprays EVERYWHERE as there is no shower curtain, it's more like a wet room than a bathroom. Stamos was the best place for us (a group of 18 year old girls) but i would recommend it to everyone, due to it's gorgeous pool and perfect location just far enough from the nightlife to get a good night's sleep. PERFECT!

we stayed here last august 10, and even though it was an 18-30 hotel me and my partner both 43 had a great welcome and friendly service. we did use an adjoining hotel pool which was quiet compared to the stamos pool. however that was not down to the 18-30s being roudy just that we wanted less of a crowd. the staff were very friendly and one even made my partner a pizza at 4 am lol i would recommend this hotel

we are great fans of faliraki and have been holidaying here for many years.unfortunately this year we were unable to stay at our usual hotel and had the misfortune to stay at the stamos.we were told both on the internet and at the time of booking that the 18/30s guests would be in a seperate block to the familys and couples,WE WERE NOT.the noise and carrying on until daybreak everynight was unbearable.the youngsters had paid to whoop it up and thats what they were entitled to do,but we as 50plus's had paid to enjoy our holiday and we were entitled to some sleep at night and that was impossible.it was impossible to even sit and have a drink in the pool bar because it was mayhem in there,i have 4 children of my own all in their 20s so i know about young people living life to the max,but we didnt want to see and hear the things that went on here.if you want a good 18/30s holiday this is the place otherwise give it a very wide berth, when we left the owner didnt even have the courtesy to say goodbye to us,probably because he is only interested in the youngsters getting bladdered in his bar every night and spending a fortune on drink.the room was nice sheets and towels changed everyother day but the ball of hair on the floor the day we arrived was still there the day we left.faliraki,we'll be back next year but not at the stamos even if it was free.

I have just got back from Faliraki after satying a week at The Stamos with Club 18-30 and I could not reccomend a better hotel! We arrived at 6am and were giving free shots! The rooms was alot bigger then expected, we had lots of room and lived up to more then our expectations. We stayed on the ground floor in the new buliding and it was a pain when you was in before everyone else and upstairs was banging about but if youd had enough drinks you soon fell to sleep! The staff was amazing and would do anything you asked them to do. The reps in Faliraki are some of the best I've had. I totally reccomend a holiday in Faliraki and would tell anyone to book The Stamos! It is not a family place tho! Deffinatly 10/10!

Stamos appartments was absolutly fantastic. Me and my 6 mates loved our stay, it has brilliant reps, great staff and fantastic guests all around our age. It was in a perfect position for all the bars and clubs and only a stones throw from the water park. If your going to Faliraki with a group of friends then STAMOS is where you need to be!!!! It was the best girlie holiday I could of had.

This is a great family run appartment set, with a reasonable sized pool, bar, tv for big games, ps3, pool tables, space for football and volleyball etc. Its also in a great position, just across from a convenience store and a 5-10 minute walk from club street and bar street, and round abouts the same for the beach.
What makes this one of the better places to stay is that everyone meets up here. All the PR's you see getting people in bars, they all come here to unwind. If they've been here a while then they know where to hang out during the day. You can also have a good time with some of the staff working there (watch out for jam hughes on his roller blades)
The rooms are good with plenty of space, wardrobes, basic kitchen (hob, no oven, some cutlery and dishes supplied).
This hotel is linked with the KGB bar on bar street. On certain days you can get a bbq at the hotel and then 2 hours free bar at KGB for 25 euro.
The bar serves a fair selection of food and is very convenient.
Bad points.
-Showers are awful, with no curtain or panels surrounding the unit. This means the entire floor gets soaked and takes ages to dry as theres no slant to drain the moisture away. How much does it seriously cost to adapt these. It'd save the cleaners extra time too.
-If you are on the ground floor, certain balconies will get soaked from the sprinklers at night, meaning don't leave anything like clothes hanging around when you go out.
-Bar service can be rubbish. One mate had to wait 1 full hour for fish and chips, and he also says the lasagne was the worst he'd ever had. Also, some stuff can be expensive. I paid 3 euro for an ice lolly for goodness sake.
-Front doors are slamming all the time when people have their balconies open. Surely there can be some mechanism to stop it closing at full speed.
-Sometimes the cleaners will miss something, like say some more loo roll, or maybe emptying the tissue bin (greeks dont flush their toilet paper because of sewer and drain pipe issues).
-Dont come here if you're a family. This is an 18-30 place and for some reason i seen the odd few young children around. Purely for noise at night reasons. This includes people knocking on random doors (in some cases walking straight in if it is unlocked). This is purely down to guests and not the hotel in general though.
-If you went through 18-30 with thomson, thomas cook then you will get a rep trying to convince you to pay 200 euro for a week with them. However, by doing this you get less drinks than you would if you bargained with people outside bars yourself and will find it hard to get served because there's too many people packing in the same place.
-This is a complaint with my tour operator (thomson). We had to leave the room by 12 noon on the last day, but wasnt getting a coach to the airport until 3am the next morning. Without a room its not as convenient to go in and out of your suitcase and thus you end up not doing too much for that day. Surely the operator could have arranged a later checkout as the newbies didnt arrive until the coach we were leaving on.

I was filming out in Faliraki this summer & me & the film crew stayed at the Stamos Hotel during August. This hotel is honestly such an incredible place I recommend it to anyone looking for a holiday in Faliraki.
I think what makes is so special is the people that own & run the hotel as this is a family run business.
The other holiday makers were really great & you normally get some of the top DJ's staying there in peak season that come for events. DJ Luck & MC Neat stayed there twice this season.
I've been over to Faliraki for the past 10 years & each summer I've stayed at the Stamos. I cannot imagine staying anywhere else.

Oh my days, please go! We had an ace time!!
The hotel is lovely, really clean, the staff are so friendly and they will do anything for you. The location of the hotel is really handy too, the walk to the beach got a little bit boring but we only went a few times as the sunbeds cost 7 euros for two! We were on a bit of a budget haha
Restaurants to go to are the little Greek ones at the end of Club Street, Something Different and my personal favourite, Restaurnat Castellan! I loved it, Chicken Gyros!!! AMAZING!
All the bars are really good, King Arthurs is a must as everyone is so nice but the drinks are a bit dear (4 coctails for 22 euros), Jaks is good for cheap drinks (4 coctails, 12 shots and a fishbowl for 20 euros) AMAZING!!! But Bar Street is really good too, theyll give you owt you want! You just need to know how to barter lol
But anyway go to Faliraki.. Its not like you think it is! We had an amazing time!
Although were like 21 when we went, the people did seem a lot younger than us but like 16-17 but we did have a good holiday :D:D:D:D:D

Our first proper girls holiday, and it could not have been better! There was 5 of us altogether and we were lucky enough to get 2 rooms next to each other in the new block! Rooms were fab! Everyone in the hotetl was really friendly and very welcoming (only bad thing on arrvival at 6am was that we were on the top floor, and there were no lifts, but we soon got over it!) Air Con is a must!! Only about 40 euros for the week and well worth it! Pool was great, wicked music playing all day and night! Hotel location was great; about 5 mins walk away from club st. and most restaurants, and 10 mins max from bar st. and beach. There were some great restaurants, 'Something Different' and 'Orion' are a must!! You even get free shots after your meal! Food/Drink was a bit more expensive that expected but probs just the way the euro is; some great deals about though, i.e 3 course meal and a 6 hour free bar for 27Euro or 15Euro for a 3 hour free bar. All over an amazing holiday in a great hotel and wouls recommend it without a doubt!!

my boyfriend and i stayed at stamos in may 09, we were expecting it to be basic but were told that couples would be allocated in the new block so we wasnt worried, after arriving at 4 am to 2 grumpy men laid on an old sofa, we were shown to our room which was horrendous, we asked if we could be moved to the new block but were told they werent in use, only to find people stayin in them, we were even prepared to pay but were refused, we tried to not let it ruin our hols but the ants and the old fashioned room put us off.stamos is ok if you are really not bothered about what your room is like,
p.s if you are lucky enough to get a new room they are lovely !!!

I don't think the pictures do it any justice.
We arrived to the studios and got off the bus to a VERY clean and tidy pool side with a very friendly family atmosphere at reception and the bar.
The reps were even shocked at how amazing the rooms were.
They were very large, clean and bright.
Our room overlooked a field area where we had a balcony with chairs.
The bathrooms were more like wetrooms however this dried very quickly in the warmth.
During the day there is dance music on all day around the poolside and when we went there was a barbeque one night, the family really try to ensure guests enjoy themselves.
We found the distance was fantastic, closest to the strip (try to avoid taxis as they are a rip off!) and during the day it is easy to walk to the beach or shops.
One word of advice: if you are planning to bring anyone back... don't. They like their reputation there and do not allow ANY overnight guests. They will hunt you down if you do!
Faliraki has a great night life and is a brilliant place for a holiday with friends.
We were VERY pleased and would advise anyone to go there. Everything about it is well kept, clean and a nice place to be!
