What a superb holiday ! a stunning hotel with stunning views, very friendly staff- spottless clean - every day !! they are even cleaning through the night. The best hotel we have ever stayed in in Greece and will def go back.
If i had to say one bad thing it would be the walk into lindos -- ok down --struggle getting up !! but then yopu would not have the stunning views if you were in lindos town itself, but we got a taxi into Pefkos most nights as meals are much cheaper.
After going to a few disasters in greece this is one of the finest.

What a lovely place! I would recommend Lindos View Apartments and Studios to anyone, its location meant you had more space than if you stayed in Lindos itself. A free bus ran from just down the road to the main square for those who didn't wait to walk down the hill. The accommodation was clean, tidy, well equipped and was a lot bigger than I thought it would be (we stayed in a studio for 3 of us!).
The staff were very friendly and helpful, the reception and bar were open 24 hours!. The food was good and it's two pools were clean and well looked after.

Just returned from a week in Lindos, staying at the Lindos View Apartments with Kosmar.
Hotel good, very modern with good facilities. Rooms whilst basic were very clean and spacious. Lindos is a great resort with plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from, with most having a roof top view of the Acropolis.
Be aware the walk back from the town is quite steep, so some may find it difficult, but plenty of taxis available.
My only complaint about the holiday is the Brits abroad, doing their usual putting towels on the sun beds at the crack of dawn, often the bed remaining empty most of the day. So if you are not an early riser, forget sitting by the pool.
Also be aware if you are travelling out on the Saturday night as this is counted as your first night even though you do not arrive at the hotel until 7.30 - 8.00am. You have to vacate your room the following Saturday at 12pm even though you do not leave until Sunday at 2am, bit of a pain.
On the whole we would recommend the hotel and certainly Lindos itself, worth a visit.

This was my fifth visit to Lindos and the first time I have stayed in the Lindos View Hotel. I have to say it is the best accommodation I have stayed in, not only in Rhodes, but any where else I have stayed in Greece. It is so well cared for and looked after.
Reading other comments, I have to agree that you have to be up early to get a sunbed and have to admit I reluctantly had to do as others did and put my towel out early (something I do not like doing). This situation is not helped by other holidaymakers from other apartments using the facility.
Yes the taxi drivers drive like lunatics up the bank and it will only be a matter of time before someone gets hurt when they try to do their power slides in their Mercs.
This sounds a bit negative but this is a lovely place to stay in a location that offers everything a holiday should.

Just returned from a great week in Lindos, staying at the Lindos View Apartments with Kosmar.
Hotel great, couldn’t fault the facilities and rooms whilst basic, where very clean and spacious. Lindos is a great resort with plenty of restaurants to choose from however the walk down from the hotel is steep and beware the mad taxi drivers!!
Anyone will ill health might find it difficult especially coming back up (good way to walk dinner off though).
The beach is lovely and very safe for children as its shallow for quite a way out. My only complaint about the holiday is the Brits abroad, doing their usual putting towels on the sun beds at the crack of dawn and sitting in the same spots every day.
So if you are not a early riser, forget sitting by the pool, you've no chance whatsoever!!
Couldn’t get over how petty the Brits are in the totally British hotel complex, total Muppets even putting towels on beds for their children who spent 90% of the day in the pool.
Also found one waiter very rude to the female staff, his name escapes me but think he's in charge of the restaurant and bar, an older guy, had very little respect for his female counter workers.
Apart from these few niggles hotel very clean and well maintained and would recommend

I have been to Lindos 9 times over the last 20 years and have stayed at Lindos View on the last 3 occasions.
I must say that it is my most favourite place on earth. How can you compare to waking up in the morning and looking out of your apartment, to the most spectacular view of the Acropolis.
The evening view is even more amazing when the lights are on.
The owners of Lindos view were incredibly friendly and when we told them that we had been before, we were given a nice welcome back card and a few goodies.
There is a bit of a walk in both directions either into the town square or to St Pauls Bay but even with a 7 year old who refused to walk anywhere, the whole magic of the place won him over. That and the fact that we had to take a small scooter with us.
Fantastic for going down the hills!
I would love to go to Lindos again but only on the condition that I could stay in these apartments.

The flight was poor and we were not too impressed with Airtours over all the rep was barely there and we actually went on outing through the Thompson rep.
However the hotel was perfect, 100%. Was clean nice looking all staff were friendly and helpful and the holiday was a pleasure.
Anyone looking for a nice place to go should go here its perfect for everyone. Will definitely be coming back just with Thompson rather than Airtours.

I traveled to Lindos in early September with Kosmar. I'll start with the one and only bad point and that was the ridiculous flight times. Traveling all night to get there and traveling thought the night to get back. However the minor point never put any blemishes on my fantastic visit.
The weather was fantastic usually mid 30's. The food was beautiful, pubs awesome especially a little Reggie bar called Karma which is very different. I traveled with my 19 year old girl friend and we were pleasantly surprised at how nice the hotel was the pool and the friendly staff.
There’s millions to do through the day e.g. shop, acropolis, watermark and lovely beaches. And there are some lively pubs and lovely restraints for the evenings. I'll definitely go back and am already looking forward to it.

What can we say, the room was excellent with everything we needed for a basic self catering stay, we only had breakfast in the room. The towels and sheets where changed daily and the place was spotless. The pool area was kept immaculate together with the children’s play area, great for those families with children. The bar and reception again where spotless and Staff where most helpful and nothing was too much trouble. We had a couple of meals in the Restaurant, the food and service was second to none and the view was breathtaking. We even had a carryout and the owner Manos and the waiter Stephan insisted that we take proper wine glasses with our bottle of wine.
Lindos is a marvelous place to wander around and just browse, I must mention the Med East Restaurant just down the hill towards the square on the left, the food is brilliant and the Staff make you feel you are special - pay a visit you will not be disappointed, you should also visit the Italian Ill Palazzetto again good food and great staff, look out for Yannis. Also try the crepes at many of the places you will see in town. A couple of down points we tried the restaurants Alex and Lindos, the food was disappointing and cold, Staff OK but need to be more user friendly, got the impression we it was fast food with a difference.
Overall our stay in Rhodes was fantastic and would recommend to anyone going to stay at the Lindos View it must have one of the best locations on the Island, we will certainly be going back.
Finally, just a a tip on what to avoid: Sound & Light Show in Rhodes, not worth the wait, Embolas Village, the wine area very disappointing, Ixia - well its a nightmare.
Hits - must see: The Valley of The Butterflies, Rhodes Old Town, The Medieval Coffee Shop & Gelateria Old Town Rhodes for best coffee and baguettes, Monolithos, Mount Smith, Kalimnos, The Seven Springs (check out the tunnel), Ialyssos.

We got back from a 2 week holiday on 17th Sept and are seriously suffering from the holiday blues. We had a great time made better by the fantastic Lindos View. The hotel was clean and well looked after, more so than any place I've ever been to including places in England! Everyone was friendly and the service was excellent. We met some great people and just had an amazing time. The hardest decision was whether to go to the pool or to the beach and which lovely place to eat in at night.
We'd like to go back again and would not stay anywhere else other than the Lindos View.
