Lorenzo Hotel

Lorenzo Hotel offers everything you need in a B&B - bed and breakfast, the pool is lovely, there are plenty of sun beds and the location is prime. Plenty of restaurants around the hotel and a short 15-min walk to Argostoli (go after 5.30pm tho - too hot!)
The staff was lovely - just don't be late for breakfast as you get nothing!
Cannot wait to return here next year. Miss it already

Before booking a holiday, I always research the hotel and check out the reviews before hand. For this hotel, the reviews were super!
My family and I, have just returned from the Lorenzo Hotel - I couldn't of asked for more!
Staff were very friendly, food was good too!
Rooms were basic' yet very clean. (which is what you expect)
I would recommened this hotel to a friend, and would go back anyday of the week.

Just returned yesterday from Hotel Lorenzo and I hate to be negative but i was dissapointed to say the least with the hotel staff and our room. It was a ground floor room with a terrace. It overlooked the pool area and had a great sea view, however, when we arrived early evening I found the room to be very damp and the floor slippery and wet. I mentioned it to the lady on reception the next day and she said she would take a look. Upon our return she was very rude and said no one had ever complained about the room before and there was nothing wrong with the room and we should keep it ventilated....bit difficult considering I had only just got there. From then on she was continually rude to us and to be quite honest I found the lady in the pool bar unfriendly too. I dont like to complain so we suffered the damp mattresses and sheets for the whole week. You could even see the black damp patches appearing on the wall adjacent to the bathroom!!! On hindsight I paid a lot of money for this room and shouldn't have been treated like that! If I had been allocated another room I would have said the hotel was ok.
All in all if you go there do not stay in any of the rooms that have a terrace as you may have the same problem!!!

Just returned from a week at the Lorenzo hotel in Lassi. A group of 6 adults aged between 40-50. The location of the hotel was superb, close to shops, restraunts, bars and fantastic beaches. The hotel was clean and very friendly and the pool area and bar was great !! A very relaxed feel to the hotel, and the staff was all very friendly. We will definately be returning .

We were really pleased with Kefalonia. We went with friends the first week in May last year, we needed a rest and relaxing holiday and it was everything we expected and more. The hotel Lorenzo was friendly, nice views we were at the front of the hotel, our friends were at the back, the only annoying thing with the front was the hotel dog that barked early in the morning, but the rest made up for that. Breakfast was simple but nice, which we ate around the pool. Plenty of sunbeds and shower facilities and a nice pool with lovely bar for snacks and refreshments. Because this was the first week it opened not all the restaurants and bars were open but there were ample for us. I would think when it really got started it would be more for younger people. The hotel was very clean but the bar could do with a refurbish.
We loved it and are going again to the same place with different people this time. C U there

Just got back from a fantastic holiday! The Hotel Lorenzo is spotless, the swimming pool is crystal clear, the staff go out of their way to help you, and nothing is too much trouble. (A bit disappointed there wasn't a kettle, but asked at reception and was given one the next day)
The location is just 15 mins from airport but you never really hear the planes, the beach is less than 10 mins away, which is sandy and clear, the fish feed from your hands, we even saw an octopus. Further along the high street you can walk down the side of the supermarket to Long Beach and the waves are just fantastic.
Had a great Greek Night out at Zorbes with everybody joining in. Local buses run to Argostoli every half an hour for 1 euro and lots to see and do there with stunning scenery, even managed to see the turtles when the fishing boats came in about 10am (opposite Bus Station). Lassi has lots of good traditional bars and restaurants, but had to catch a taxi to Oskers (5euros) for some fantastic Greek dancing around the flames, Very good food, all restaurants are pretty cheap to eat at, between 30 - 50 euros for 3 people (main course, sweet and drinks) Would recommend you visit - Its so relaxing! Also recommend a visit along the coastal road to see Finari Lighthouse and The Water Wheel.

Good flight with XL Airways - slight delay but seating and service good.
Worth booking private taxi transfers to hotel, it saves time and you check in before the coach loads.
Hotel room’s very clean but basic, ground floor rooms are very easy access.
Breakfast - well, this was unusual, to say the least - find a table, go to the bar area and collect a tray, on the tray was 2 small glasses of orange juice, 2 small plates with 2 small slices of French bread per person - talk about portion control. After breakfast you had to put all used plates, cups, etc back onto the tray and return it to the bar area. Not only was it self service, you had to clear your table too!
The pool was good, but busy, if you didn’t get up early and put your towels out, you were too late. We were always up late (due to the wine) so we would go to the beach,(10 mins walk).
The pool bar was good but slow service. The reception bar was even slower (measure on drinks were bad - would get lynched in the UK for serving drinks that way). The cocktail bar ((9pm onwards) was air conditioned and good, the occasional attempt of entertainment was laid on (I was more interested in the chilled wine).
Lassi was good, a fair selection of bars and restaurants to choose from. Mostly the same type of menu, but the service varied greatly. The So Simple bar was good for music and atmosphere. Argostoli was worth the taxi fare (6e) good shops and restaurants (good chilled rose wine). Assos and Fiskado are two places worth visiting, also Myrtos Bay was stunning. The Drogarati caves were interesting, lots of steps (was still hungover from the night before) but worth the visit.
The wine was reasonable good (well I polished off a good few bottle) and cheap.

Just come back from a really good holiday, apartments were spot on, very spacious, maid service daily clean towels provided every day.
Reception staff very friendly and helpful. Food from the pool bar excellent. Fantastic beaches, plenty of places to eat very reasonable prices.
Only downside to holiday not enough things going on for children, but perfect for couples.

Hotel Lorenzo was the best hotel I have been to.
The staff was very friendly and very helpful. Unfortunately one of the members of my family had got lost, and the staff had been very helpful if it wasn’t for them we wouldn’t have found him.
The food was lovely, the bar and the cocktail bar was great.
There was a satellite TV(sky) which you can control yourself! The screen was massive!!!!
The pool was cleaned everyday and the pool bar was good. The table tennis and pool table was good.
The cleaners did a really good job.
The location was good it’s farley close to the beach and its really close to nice restaurants. Get a taxi and go to Oskars restaurant. The rest of the restaurants is really close. There are only supermarkets in Lassi. But if you get a taxi into Argostoli there is loads of shops.
If you want a taxi ask at the reception to call you one they come in about 30 seconds!!!!
Overall the hotel is brilliant!!
Oh nearly forgot you don’t have to buy lilo's or rings they provide them because they have loads but if you want to have a ring for the beach you have to buy your own.

This was our first time the Greek islands but it won't be the last!
We had an apartment at the top of the Hotel and it was perfect for our needs; lots of room (apart from the tiny bathroom), perfect sea and pool views from the balcony and a cheap supermarket at the top of the road.
The hotel is well placed for the beaches and restaurants and is within walking distance of Argostoli. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and the room was cleaned every day.
Most of the restaurants serve good food at very good prices; the only exception was Sitarki.
Phaedras was excellent, it was the only place we ate twice at as there is so much choice.
Vagelati is a good supermarket for the basics and we got a good car deal at CBR.
We had the car for 6 days and toured the whole island- a must if you don't mind the twisty mountain roads.
There was a heat wave whilst we were there so take plenty sunscreen.
