We have had the best holiday at the San Lorenzo. The whole village was imacualate. On arrival we were made to feel so welcome by the hard working staff and the apartments had Water in the fridge, fruit in a bowl and other nice little touches. Our apartements were cleaned everyday, the pool area and bar area were spotless. The view was to die for. We will definately be back.

we have just got back from the san lorenzo village and it is the best place we have stay in any of the Greek Islands. The cleaners are continuly cleaning the pool is 30m long and is spotless. The reception/bar staff are very friendly aand helpful, we would love to go back there due to its location 80m up a steep slope it is not suitable for those with mobility problems but taxi are available. The view are graet

I have been staying at the San Lorenzo Village for 8 years now and it's the most fantastic place anyone could stay!
Firstly in the 8 years I have been going I have NEVER once found any of the staff rude or grumpy. They are all very helpful and would do anything for you, If they could help you with anything they would!
I was there the week the owners held there son's birthday party as they wanted to share it with friends that have been going for years but also with there guests, anyone could have gone to the party which was a brilliant night!
The kids at the party were all lovely and really well behaved and everyone there joined in with them.
If you don't like the pool being noisy and full of kids (which it really isn't) then don't pick a family complex. I spent most of my days around the pool and never found any of the kids there loud or missed behaved. We all managed to read a book or 2!
The bar was fab in the day and night, the food was beautiful especially the speacial burger!
All in all the place is fantastic and most of the people who stay there go year after year as do I and will continue to do for many years!
The owners Hara and Takis have made the San Lorenzo Village one of the most beautiful com plex to stay in!

Kefalonia is a beautiful place to visit, my partner and I had a truley fantastic week there. The beaches, taverners and views are great.
We stayed at the San Lorenzo Village which was ok. We would have liked to give them a higher score but found a few things let them down such as:
- Reception and Bar staff (English & Polish mostly) were frequently rude and grumpy. Sighs and rolling of eyes were common when we asked for some food in the afternoon, which was not that good, as a result we ate out or in the apartment more often than we would have liked.
- The Owners held their children's birthday party at the bar late one afternoon just before the advertised party night, a coincidence maybe? A dozen very noisy and "un-checked" local kids ran riot sceaming and shouting around the pool table and air hockey tables, we gave up at around 20:00 and went out early. This really annoyed us as the owners didn't seem to mind that thier kids were driving away the guests. On returing at around midnight they were still there but disguised by the party night which was in full "birdy song" swing!
- The pool is great for young kids and families but if you want to sit and read a book in peace you would be better off on the beach of which there are plenty of goods ones in walking distance.
The apartments were very basic, the maid service is daily and excellent.
In summary the bar/reastaurant is not very good and the pool is pretty but noisy. San Lorenzo Village is a good base from which to see the rest of what is a stunning Island.

Just returned from a week’s holiday at the San Lorenzo Village (not the Residence, which by all accounts is not as nice as the Village), and cannot state enough how impressed we were with this resort. Not what you expect for 3* Greece. This place truly lives up to its reputation. The accommodation is wonderful. We stayed in a studio on the ground floor which is ideal for those of you that have babies or toddlers, however having an apartment with a separate bedroom would have been a preference. The room was clean and spacious, although the kitchen and bathroom is fairly small, but served their purpose. Upon arrival our studio was immaculate and you even get a bowl of fresh fruit, a bottle of water in the fridge, a small bottle of washing up liquid and a selection of bathroom toiletries! The rooms are cleaned every day, along with fresh bed linen and towels.
As for the rest of the resort, again you cannot find any complaints. The grounds are well maintained, picturesque and with great sea views. You can also watch wonderful sunsets from the Gazebo, which is a nice touch. There is a small children’s play area with swings, slides etc set aback from the main pool area, ideal to keep the little one’s entertained. The main pool is a decent size, clean and very refreshing after basking in 30 degrees of sunshine every day! Plenty of sun-loungers too. There is a baby pool for the kiddies that is emptied every other day and refilled with fresh water, so no chemicals. The staff at the resort are very friendly from the owner to the room cleaner. They do all they can to ensure you have a great holiday, and had just finished renovating a new changing facility underneath the reception/bar area where there are showers and toilets to use after you have checked out. I gather that a great deal of guests are repeat customers and we’ll certainly be going back. The food at the pool side bar is decent enough and ranges from sandwiches and toasties to salads, pizzas and Greek specials. With the exchange rate as it currently is, it is a little pricey for what it is, especially for a bottle of Magners if that’s your tipple - €6! Stick to the local beer!
Lassi is a small, quiet resort ideal for families and couples with an ample choice of restaurants just a short stroll away that serve good quality food (Greek and other). The beaches, just a 10-15 min walk from San Lorenzo village are amazing. Golden send with crystal clear water. Kefalonia is quite a hilly island, so be prepared for uphill and downhill walks to and from the beach/restaurants back to the village. Not too strenuous mind, but the walk back up to the village is quite steep, but only takes a few mins.
All in all a wonderful holiday and resort. Highly recommend it, although would rather it stays as quiet as it is!

Well what can i say the San Lorenzo was the best place i have ever stayed.
Always Clean and always tidy on arrival we was welcomed by all the staff taken to our room were their was water in the fridge and sweets all the essentials hair dryers, microwave.
Maria was the cleaner and also worked in the bar she was lovely she would come and chat to us every morning and play with my little brother Charlie.
Food at the bar is nice very basic but great for a snack and drinks were very reasonbly priced.
Lassi is beautiful the beaches are lovely sunbeds and umbrellas are 8E a day and the man who does them is really nice he would always throw in two extra umbrellas for the little one to play under.
We went in june which was absoulty boiling very very hot we visited the XI Beach which has red sand and is lovely i definatly recommend this is hiring a car.
i Would 1000% definatly go back !!!!

Best holiday ever had!
San Lorenzo Village is amazing, and I would reccomend it to anyone!
Cleaned every day, with fresh sheets and towels.
The pool is very clean and clear, and the baby pool is re-filled every morning,
The bar staff are really friendly.
You can even get your shopping done for you, and they will bring it to your door!
Plenty of sunloungers to go around and parasouls.
Also a park for children! And swings situated around the gardens with beautiful picture-ess views of the sea, to relax on!
The restraunts are great, the Greek food is fantastic!
Panorama is highly reccomended.
The bar staff will also call a taxi for you to go into Argostoli which has some great shops for designer bags, jewlery and more!
Overall 10/10
Definatley coming back sometime!

The island is a fantastic!! i could not fault anything with it and i cant wait to return next year!!
However the tour company where really bad conversations on the plane out to Greece by cabin crew which frankly were discusting! On arrival to the accommodation the rep legged it and left us to do all the booking in alone! The cooker and electrics in the room were faulty complained a number of time to the rep who was a waste of space time and effort!, the air con that was advertised in the brochure was a fan the size of a large book, and the mozzi nets well i think they dreamed that up!!! Yet it was only 45 degrees what do we need air con and mozzi nets for!!
I guess i got lucky as aint got kids, one couple were told their young son had to sleep on the floor! i see why thomas cook make u pay extra now!! disgraseful!!!
if the rep gave enough of his energy to us guests than he did trying to chat up other reps then i would have had really good holiday!
I will never use thomas cook ever again!!!

San Lorenzo Village lives up to its reputation on the internet and the reviews we had read. It is in a good position, the views are beautiful. The apartment itself was basic but very clean, it was cleaned every day with fresh bed linen and towels. All the staff were really friendly and helpful. The pool area was clean and even though it was the height of season it was never over crowded. The complex itself was very well kept including the gardens the play areas. It was so relaxing, quiet if you wanted it to be but also the bar area is open from 9am - 2am for drinks and snacks, all freshly made. We had apartment 117 and it was opposite the pool, and ideal location. Missing it already and would definately book it again.

In a word 'EXCELLENT'. I fully endorse all the other positive comments made. You would have to go a very long way to beat this holiday experience.
