San Lorenzo Studios and Apartments

We have just come back from our holiday in Kefalonia and felt we needed to write a review about it, we enjoyed it that much. We stayed at the San Lorenzo residence apartment which are wonderful, we have never stayed anywhere so clean, we have traveled quite a lot and have stayed in some top class hotels and these apt beat them all.
They had everything you needed, the shower was excellent with hot water whenever you needed it. The cleaner came in everyday and made the beds, cleaned everything to 1st class standard. We had tea, sugar, coffee & milk, even a brand new scourer in the kitchen, we were really impressed. We stayed in Lassi which is lovely, the restaurants & bars are really nice, we ate out every night and didn’t have one bad meal.
The locals are so polite and make you feel more than welcome. We hired a car for 5days which was well worth the money if you want to see the beauty of the island. We hired a car from cbr travel which is a local company located just on the main road in Lassi, they were the most reasonable, we had a Hyundai Getz 3mths old, ideal for touring the island. Top places to visit are Myrtos beach, Melissani Lake, Drogarati caves, Fiskorado, Assos and of course the capital Argostoli which is lovely.
We saw 2 huge turtles in the harbour the highlight of our holiday, top place to eat Neflies wonderful food and very obliging. We will definitely be going back at sometime, we love the Greek islands, we have been to 4 now and everyone has been beautiful.
