Spent 2 weeks all inclusive during May 2010 family of 4.
Hotel is recommended by Thompsons as a 4 star, it would be lucky to obtain a 2 star rating.
Hotel was clean but basic, clean linen every 6th day, no clean towels for over a week, facilities very very basic, hotel entertainment group were also the kids party planners, quiz masters, evening caberet (poor)
Hotel buffet foods on most days was inedible on a few days I wouldn't have fed the dog with it.
Absolute discrace to 4 star rating system. Please don't book this hotel.

The best value for money I've payed in this vacation. Excellent for families with small children, various food, acceptable quality for the free drinks, quality entertainment. Also, the Sidari area offers lot of things to visit and breathtaking views, the locals are very friendly. The beach sandy and fine, there are beach bars and playgrounds for children, also there are water sports.
- Advice: go there
- Activities: Canal D'amour

This is our second visit to the hotel and the first time all inclusive. The food was good, always plenty of choice although the choices in the kids section could have been better. However, there was always something suitable for a picky 8 year old.
The rooms were excellent, clean and spacious, the pool was always clean and all the facilities were cleaned daily. The staff were helpful and friendly, the animation team were good, although the entertainment in the evenings could have been better, they did try hard with sometimes little encouragement.
The location would not suit everybody, the hotel is set up on a hill above the main resort and the hill is quite steep. People with walking difficulties would struggle a lot.
But for us, with a combination of 3 teenagers, 2 under 10's and 3 adults, it was great. There is enough to do in the resport to keep everyone happy, but not so much that you are bombarded with noise. I would be happy to go back to the hotel and the resport again.
The downside was the journey home. I will NEVER travel with Thomas Cook again. The flight out of Corfu was delayed 5 hours, due to fog. That is fair enough, but there was no help or assistance at the airport at all. The staff kept wheeling people in, until you literally could not see the floor where people were spread out asleep. The reps disappeared, and we didn't even get a bottle of water for the children. The airport snack bar ran out of cold drinks, food and the toilets were filthy and without paper or hot water.
So, in summary, Hotel great, resort great, Tour Operator rubbish. Go to Sidari, don't go with Thomas Cook.

I travelled to Sidari with my boyfriend and 2 of our friends and it was everything we'd hoped for.
The pool area was always clean and we had no problems getting 4 sunbeds even at 10 in the morning! Rooms were equally clean and tidy with the maid service every day and towels changed every other day (excluding sundays). The hill up to the rooms is steep but we didn't mind walking it most of the time to help burn off all the food we'd had!
The food in the restaurant is fine, there was always bread, pasta and potato in some form just in case you didn't want to try the other things. We found we ate out quite a few times when we were there just to have a bit of variety. If travelling to Sidari you must try Cactus Jacks- an american barbeque restaurant that puts the likes of Chiquitos to shame. The portions here are huge (so big we couldnt fit all of ours on one table) and all of it was lovely, we went back a couple of times.
The entertainment in the hotel was great, lots for everyone in the day and night, with everyone getting involved. The animation team were fab, and they knew the best places for us to go out afterwards!
Everything about Sidari Village was clean and well organised. We loved it and would definately visit Sidari again!

SIDARI HOLIDAY VILLAGE
1st New owners
2nd Predominantly English visitors and a few Poles. (Not any Dutch as per previous reports)
3rd Have given the place a new makeover
4th Excellent "Animation" entertainment team, with varied entertainment day and night, every day!
5th Cost 3 adults with OT Beach.com less than £800, some paid nearly £1900 for the same with Thomas Cook or Panorama.
Difference you get that good old welcome meeting to sell you trips so is the difference in the price worth it. You decide?
FLIGHT: Went with Easyjet, half hour delay, not ideal with non-allocated seats.
ARRIVAL AIRPORT: As this was not via a tour company, all holiday detail was via email and vouchers. Upon arrival at Sidari airport headed for the Holidays 4 U counter handed over the voucher and hey presto 56 seater coach with two drop-offs, and 8 persons on board, 7 of which where at The Sidari Holiday Village!
HOTEL: Arrival at 1am,handed over another voucher for accommodation and keys were handed over, also R/C for the TV & A/C (Need to shut the door for the A/C to work!!). Bags were taken and us via minibus up to block 15 (3rd best block on the resort!)
THE HILL: The accommodation blocks 3-15 all have sea views, and are up an extremely tall hill, there is a saviour in the form of a minibus that runs all day until midnight. It says it runs every 15 mins, but its as soon as someone wants it!! and it’s free!
HOTEL BLOCKS: Blocks 1/2 are on the ground level next to the pool, block 15 is the closest to the top of the hill block 14 is next back then 13 and so on till block 3.
ROOMS: Have kitchenette, bathroom with shower (Not very good spray or size but adequate for a shower) Beds a bit hard two single beds put together, TV with satellite channels, and a mezzanine floor up some stairs with another 2/3 beds for the kids. All in all perfect for the few hours you spend their to sleep, A/C very good.
FOOD: ALL BUFFET STYLE OK not the best AI, breakfast comprises of full English, (Bacon not brilliant) eggs scrambled or fried, sausage (Frankfurter) mushrooms (Salted and tinned) Tomatoes (Fresh).
Fruit juices (Watered down) Cereal, cold meats etc
Lunch, Greek salads and various hot dish’s, evening meal the same.
If you’re looking for pie, mash and beans then this is NOT the place for you, if you want VFM AI then this is the place...
POOL: Excellent, cleaned every morning, plenty of sun beds, went down at 8am for breakfast and then went and got a sun bed, no problem was at half term in may/June not sure if when full in august it will be the same?
POOL BAR: Day times plastic cups for the drinks, you can have Beer (Lowenbrau) gin, vodka, whisky, rum, shnapps, ouzo all locally produced. Some pizza and cheese puffs for snacks in the day.
In the evening there were glasses, however the 2 drinks per visit at the bar was sometimes ridicules. Especially when know one else was a t the bar!. So it was take back and go back and get another 2 drinks!!
Be a where the AI stops at 11pm, and this is dead on. Everyone seems to get up there about 15mins before and get loads in to last for another half hour.
ENERTAINMENT: Daytime is excellent the new team are really good with the kids and run pool, darts, painting, quizzes, volleyball, water polo etc etc.
In the evening they do 2/3 nights full cabaret over a fortnight, other nights have alternative Mr&MRS, bingo, lucky13 etc etc..
All this stop at 11pm, and you are encouraged to visit the Camelot bar (Not part of the AI program) but its happy hour 11pm till midnight (Half price 4 Euros 50 for 2 cocktails)
Accommodation 10 mins from the beach, main street full of shops, bars restaurant. BED bar and the Greek restaurant just up the road a must. We had a meal for 7 with drinks 3 course, Greek plate smashing, dancing all night 100 Euros the lot!!
A vist yes, siadri good VFM , would be if the euro rate was better

I came her in august 2007 with my family and we enjoyed the resort and the environment surrounding the hotel. The minibus service was great and I think it was a good idea. There was a good range of food but it could of been an even bigger choice , the dining area could of been abit bigger. the only let down was if the kids club was aimed for everyone visiting the hotel not just the dutch. the bedrooms were clean and spacecious. The air-con was free so that was a bonusYou need to make sure you get up early to get a sun lounger. The pool was great they did waterpolo and water aerobics. The pool was clean and the area around it was always busy but its ok. They said they had a gym but was it anywhere to be seen. Oh! and they also had a night club. In the evening just after dinner they had kids entertainment where you could get up on stage, afterwards they had the aldult entertainment such as bingo. Sometimes they just had kids entertaiment and then the family . For my whole stay there it was briill and when it is birthdays they will get you up on stage and sing to you and give you a gift. I would deffinetly go back there it was brill!!!!!!!!!!

This hotel was brilliant me and the family loved it! Yes after a while the food got abit boring but what do you expect? One night there was pancakes and they were cooked in frount of you and were beautiful! The kids had there own little buffet.
The rooms were kept clean and the rooms were very spacious in the family room there was a upstairs. The shower let abit of water out on the floor and make sure you take some mosqitoe repellant and close your windows at night! The air con was good kept you cool but took abit to make the whole room cool so leave it on quite abit before you go to sleep.
The staff were abit rude at times and couldn't understand alot of english. if you asked for a token for the pool they wouldn't listen. In the restraunt the staff were polite and helpful.
If your room was up the hill there was a bus that took you up but it stopped running after 12pm.
The weather was hot and was always beaming down on you make sure yopu take alot of suncream!
The pub in the middle of the hill was a let down because you had to pay for your drinks but they were ok because the free drinks were watered down alot.
Overall we all loved this holiday and would definalty be going again!

Just got back from staying at the sidari gardens on an all inclusive basis and i've got to say we had a great time. the hotel staff are really friendly and do everything they can to help if you need anything.
i was a little worried about the food after reading the last report, but i've got to say it was excellent whilst we were there, proper greek cooking, lovely!
There was not a lot of variety for children, i have 2 small boys aged 4 & 6, but we always managed to find them something and they were never left hungry.
the rooms themselves are spacious, we stayed in a maisoneet with the 2 beds upstairs, the only downside to these rooms is that it get extremely hot upstairs and the aircon does not cool this area properly.
All on all a great hol andwould definately book to go again.
