My husband and I only paid £700 for our all inclusive week to Sidari Village, great value for money, flights, airport taxes, transfers and accomodation. However I would have been disappointed if I had paid brochure price also if I had taken my children as the food choices were not so great and nothing to do for young teenagers. I could imagine that space in the dining area would prove too cramped in peak seasons, also around the pool?
I can't comment on the cleanliness of the pool as I didn't go in it, pool area appeared fine. Couldn't complain ourselves as we are boozers and we always had enough to drink, there was also always something to eat, bar snacks were minimal and people did run for them, we did have a few nice meals out, great restaurants.
All staff in hotel were very friendly we were made welcome, our room was clean, air con great which was also free. TV worked at times only one channel though. No need to walk up the hill as minibus was available, sometimes a five minute wait.
If I could get a cheap deal again I would return to this hotel as it was a great base and set back enough so you could not hear the noise of the clubs during the night. Amazing views from the balcony you could see the Albanian mountains whilst lying on your bed. Best view we have probably ever had from a hotel room. Very enjoyable sitting with a bottle of wine late afternoon watching the beautiful sunsets.
This was our first time to Greece we will definitely return for our next holiday, loved the place. My only criticism is with my tour operator she insisted that the Sidari Village was of four star rating I would rate it as two star plus. Don't be put off by that, if you can get a cheap deal you will probably be pleased, you may however be disappointed if you pay full whack. We got value for the amount we paid.

This is not a hotel for English, only Dutch are made to feel welcome here. We were told there was a kid’s club – yes, there is a kids club but you can only go if you are Dutch. The food was chips, chips and more chips. We ate out for the last week which you don’t expect to do with all-inclusive. The poolside snacks were rubbish; every other day was spinach pie not what kids would normally snack on.
The pool was dirty and I never saw the kids pool cleaned once. The hill to your room was like Everest - no wonder you have a minibus running all day which you need when you have 3 children with asthma. The apartments was nice, very spacious; shame about the aircon - it blew out warm air. The only good thing about Sidari was the lovely people we met, especially our new friends the crazy geordies. If you go to Sidari find yourself a hotel that likes English and has some decent entertainment, we had bingo every night and a kids disco again for the Dutch.

We arrived at 6am after travelling 9hrs from UK. Party of 5, including 3 children. We arrived and meet by the security guard, there was no facilities for a drink in reception so we had to wait until the shop on site opened at 8am.
We were told we were staying in a 4* resort with a kids club, which we paid for. To our horror when we arrived at the resort we found that this resort is no way near a 4* resort and to make matters worse the kid's club was only for Dutch children.
There was a family that was not at all happy when they arrived and complained to the manager. To all the Brit's shock he and his family including a 2year old were thrown out the hotel and sent to the other end of the island.
We booked a one-bed apartment that was clearly a studio apartment with a set of stairs to beds looking over the rock hard beds in the living area. Also the satellite TV that we were told was in every room ended up with a choice of two channel's: CNN and a movie channel with subtitles. But on the plus side we didn't spend to long in our room.
The pool was ok but not the cleanest. I received an ear infection that lasted 10 days - had I not been in so much pain I probably could have found another 100 reasons why if you are a brit with a family then this is most defiantly not the resort to stop at. Anyway, back to the pool and surrounding area, we saw cigerette ends there on our last day – they were there on our 1st so after 14 days that gives you an idea.
The toilet facility around the pool was filthy and the ones in reception were the same.
The snack's from the pool bar were ok if you like tasteless grease, and the pool bar staff were always happy to treat you like dirt and were happy to serve you if they were not busy talking.
The restaurant was ok but there were flies all over the food and tables. The food was ok if you liked fries, salad, pasta, rice, fish and ice cream. The Entertainment of an evening was not the best and only of interest to kids if they are Dutch. But Martin from the animation team tried his best and is a very talented man.
The actual resort of Sidari is only 300 metres from hotel, and has something for everyone. Recommend you hire a boat from the beach and travel around the coastline it's beautiful. Also recommend the 3pigs to eat food - superb and the fire dance show was fantastic to watch. We made some great friends while at the resort of Sidari village and the time we had with them will be the only memories we will keep.

Family of 4 Adults. Arrived at 5.30am in the morning not offered a drink or even any water. We booked a 1 Bed apartment and we got a studio apartment, all 1 bed apartments are studios with stairs to an upper level over looking the studio and this level has no air conditioning, although the lower level air conditioning is very good. How can tour operators advertise these as 1 bed apartments?
Room was clean but tatty, as for the shower what can I say not enough room to swing a cat let alone have a wash!
The mattresses were clean but rock hard it was like sleeping on a park bench. The view from the room was fantastic I wish I could say the same about the food, the snack bar was non existent and the restaurant severed the same food day in day out chips, hard pasta, rice, fish and not much else. We found a couple of the staff very helpful but they were way out numbered by the arrogant and rude ones (especially Lindsay one of the receptionists).
It was even difficult to get a smile out of any of the waitresses, mind you even I would fine it hard to smile working in that restaurant with no air conditioning and flies buzzing around the food.
Swimming Pool was large and warm but not very clean, we noticed it was only cleaned every other day. The toilet facilities by the pool and in reception were a disgrace.
As for entertainment we were better off making our own with all the nice people that we met, although Martin the head of the animation team did try his hardest with the little facilities and the two other members he had to help him.
If you are considering going to this hotel because it advertises that it has a kids club do not bother unless you are Dutch as if you are any other nationality your children will be refused entry, as many of the fellow Brits who we met found out when they went to try and register they children.
The hill up to the higher level apartments was very steep but the mini bus service was very good and the driver Valentino was very friendly. The Hotel also advertises that it has a Roof bar we were there for 14 nights in high season (August) and it was not open at all while we were there.
All in all we had an enjoyable holiday thanks to all of the nice people that we met, Sidari itself was lovely and well worth a visit but maybe in a different hotel it would have been even better.

Went with my wife and 16yr old son. Apartment is excellent the views where amazing, maid does a great job. Food is average at best and in that heat you don’t always want to eat when you’re told to.
Air conditioning kept leaking all over the balcony. Fixed eventually. But it kept making a banging noise. Asked for a new bulb on the balcony for night time, never got one!
It is full of Dutch and Germans although not a problem unless you want a bed round the pool. Entertainment was ok but became repetitive after a while.
In our second week we stopped eating here and watching the entertainment and went into town more often, had a great time! Sidari is a great place and lots to do, would go back to Sidari it was a lovely place but not to this hotel, there are better ones.
We had a drink and meal in a few hotels and they were far superior to Sidari village. Beach and water sports are good. You have got to go to aqua land, bout 40 mins from Sidari a great day out.

This hotel is full of Dutch and French Guests and is very hard to get a sunbed by the pool, but what’s new?
Food quite good, surprisingly enough and drinks fine.
Staff really helpful and we had a duplex room which was really big, kept clean by maids who worked every day except Sunday.
The one downfall was the Mount Everest you had to climb to the apartments, to be fair the Hotel had a minibus but it was easier to walk sometimes, as the drivers would take their break at the top of the hill, and you could be waiting 10 minutes sometimes!

I was working over in Corfu in the Summer of 2006, and as a treat we were given one nights free accommodation at the Sidari Village Apartments. This is a lovely complex although very big! The rooms were spacious and very clean.
While I was over in Corfu they did get a bad spell of sickness, think this was due to the pool cleanliness although not 100% certain. I would recommend these apartments, there is plenty on site, big swimming pool, supermarket, dining area etc. Reception area is also very nice. The location is on a hillside, so I would not recommend wheelchair users stay here. It is about a 5-10 minute walk into the resort of Sidari and here there is plenty of bars, clubs, restaurants etc.
I lived and worked in Gouvia, but spent the majority of my days/nights off up in Sidari as its the most liveliest resort on the island! I had a great summer and would not hesitate in going back to Sidari for a 2 week holiday.

One week self catering for family of four booked through Airtours. Sidari given 4* rating in the brochure. I'm not sure how exactly you are supposed to cater for a family of four with only 2 hot plates, a sandwich toaster and a microwave in the kitchen. I couldn't even give my children a piece of toast for breakfast.
We booked and paid for a room for four people, yet there were only three single beds and a camp bed in the room. If I've paid for four beds, I want four beds!
The splash pool and swimming pool were OK but there was nothing in between, the swimming pool was too deep for an adult to touch the bottom anywhere, so for a weak, nervous swimmer you had to either sit in the splash pool or sit at the pool edge.
Sidari was OK but I wouldn't go back there again and wouldn't recommend it to anyone that I want to remain friends with.

It rained most of our holiday and the staff didnt brush the water away from outside our apartment, so everytime you walked out you walked into a huge puddle. I felt this was disgusting as you had to walk down a huge hill to get to hotel facilities.
The beach was not as described. The brochure said it was the best beach in corfu well there was no sand; well it was hard sand that cars were driving over no sun beds ect.. there was rubbish all over the beach. We wont be going back.

Sidari is gorgeous! My neighbour and sister had both been and recommended it, and boy were they right!
Resort is about an hour or so from airport, so bit of a drag to sit on a coach after all the flying, but never mind. This hotel is set on the hills, so do not book here if you don't like walking! My boyfriend and I were in the block of rooms at the far end of the top slope! There's a minibus that runs up and down the hill, so it's not that bad. Views from our room were just amazing though, ideal way to start your morning when opening the curtains! Got free air conditioning which was very useful. Kitchen area was nice and clean. Apartment cleaned frequently. Didn't stay by pool at all as too much to do in town, but was always clean and seemed to be plenty going on.
The resort of Sidari is just great. There are so many bars and restaurants of all nationalities. There's a little one way road down the middle, so it's safe walking along. All the shops are right next to each other, so it's a very compact town, without being cramped. In the evenings, most of the restaurants do ad-hoc Greek fire dancing and plate smashing, as you're eating your dinner, so it's really lively and creates a great atmosphere. The main strip is ON the beach, so you can walk through the bars and restaurants right out on the beach. It's very clean and the sea is lovely. Lots of water sports going on. The Canal d'amour was a bit of a let down though!
There are so many agents down the strip selling trips, so shop around. We went on a coach trip to the next town along, coach trip to Corfu town shopping (bit hectic and busy town, so don't go if you get stressed shopping), Greek night, boat trip with beach BBQ and to the water park. All were fantastic! And pretty cheap!
Really recommend this resort to couples and families. There's plenty to do. But this hotel probably isn't best if you don't like the walk or have infants in pushchairs.

We visited Sidari Village in 2006 and had the most fab holiday. The reps including Nicki, Pete, Carry, Vicky, Laura and Alex made sure we had the most fab holiday and we did. The food was lovely the entertainment was fantastic that was why we decided we would go back in 2007. OH MY GOD WHAT A BIG MISTAKE! The hotel was taken over by different people, the pool wasn't as clean, the room wasn't cleaned as often, we could not even eat the food there, we ate out all the time! McDonalds hadn't seen so much trade in August!
As for entertainment there wasn't any. At least not for the brits, maybe that is what the dutch find funny but I have to say Martin and his fire act was great:-) Nicki however was wasted as the receptionist, also the last thing why us brits are allowed to book a holiday in Sidari Village when it is clearly aimed at the Dutch. Our kids wasn't even allowed to join the kids club it was just for the Dutch. Just like to say Nicki and the gang if you are reading you were all brill:-) and whatever hotel you are in next the welsh gang are with you, so get the winning cocktails out ready:-)
Lots of love to the gang xxxxx
