Alykes has always been our favourite holiday resort but the Akis apartments are annoyingly penny-pinching - 5 euro per day to switch on the air conditioning or 2 euro a day for an electric fan. Together with having no clean towels for the last 4 days... read more

Apartments were adequate - bed, stove for hot water, basic shower - but not somewhere that you would want to spend too much time in! Also they were next to the infamous alykes salt lake, which gives of an unpleasant pond-like smell, and is a nesting... read more
