The wife and i loved the alkyon in mid september most people in the hotel are 40 plus, who on earth complains that they serve you at the table except the people who love the pile it high(and waste it) brigade, the meals were very nice a choice of three starters main course... more

Well just got back from Corfu last friday night and thought i just had to write a review on this hotel, I wish I had read the reviews about it before we went as the one that states worst hotel ever is not far wrong, now we are a couple in our mid 40's so been about abit and was recomended this hotel as one of the best in the area, we arrived lateish on the friday night, after being told the restaurant was now shut we had to go in seach of food at 11 o clock at night, thank god for the Three Little Pigs across the road from the hotel, they... more

we have just returned from a holiday at the Alkion. It is situated just on the outskirts of the main strip so is ideal for everyone, those who want to walk out for shops and entertainment and also there are plenty of different walks you can do from easy flat walks to harder hill climbs. there were choices of greek or english dishes so something to suit the less adventureous. the staff very helpful. rooms very spacious.

The staff were out of this world they couldnt do more for you the food was great they catered for everyones needs and nothing was to much trouble. we would definatly recommened the hotel to other people and we will defenatly be returning to see some of the great friends we made on our stay at the alkion hotel.

My husband and i have just returned for the Alkion hotel in Sidari. We were there for 2 weeks on a half board basis. The hotel was very clean, maid came into room daily to change sheets/towels & mop floor. The food was fine, you got a continental breakfast and if you wanted to you could pay 2 euros to get an english breakfast. Evening meals were lovely there was always 4 choices of starters and 4 mains to choose from. Desserts were plentiful too. Well where to start if you are reading this review and have booked to stay at the Alkion Sidari get on the phone to your holiday company and arrange to stay somewhere else now! Myself and my partner are quite widely travelled and are both 24yrs old. The hotel was spotless and any time of the day you would find the cleaners in action somewhere in the hotel. I think that this hotel was the best ive ever been to!! anything you want you get!! and the comment about the food is rubbish... i thought the food was good and if you didn't like the food they had on the menu that day you could always ask for something different anyway!! If you want good service, fantastic value and good looking waiters doing fire dancing then this is the hotel for you! my husband, 3 children and i spent a very happy relaxing two weeks at the alkion in sidari and it is somewhere we would all go back to with pleasure. My children(fussy eaters) were well catered for. Thank you Andrea for egg and chips!!!

We had read alot of decent reviews for the Alkion Hotel in Sidari and were quite looking forward to it! First of all the resort - pretty rubbish it our opinion. There are a lot better resorts south. One main strip now filled with nightclubs and each night you need to be prepared for the touts trying to get you in there drinking holes! (At least they're better that timeshare touts!).
