The Loews House of Blues Hotel combines a fun, rock n roll ambiance with high levels of service and unpretentious luxury. This unique Chicago hotel was designed using Gothic, Moroccan, Indian and American Folk Art motifs reflective of the legendary House of Blues Club and Restaurant also located within the Marina City Complex. Two additional restaurants, Smith & Wollensky Steakhouse and BIN 36 Wine Bar and Restaurant, plus a fully equipped, fitness facility round out the complex. Located on the Chicago River just steps away from world class shopping on State Street and Michigan Ave. plus Chicago's newly rejuvenated Theatre District, The Loews House of Blues Hotel provides a perfect respite for both the business traveler who's tired of the ordinary or for the adventurous weekend traveler.

Worst customer service from a front desk staff including the manager. They were rude, unhelpful and unfriendly. The rooms were small, no refrigerator bar, and bathroom was very small. There were no vending machines in any floors. The staff also steals in your room.

The hotel was undergoing construction and their advertisement did not mention the construction. There was no fitness center that belongs to the hotel. You have to pay $15 per day to use the fitness center next door.

Parking for cars was exorbitant at $39 per day. Worst hotel stay I've ever had in my world travels.
