Libertel Lyon-Bercy

Spending a long weekend in the most romantic city in Europe was quite an experience for us, with many moments I will never forget. From the classic places like the Eiffel tower, Notre Dame cathedral, and the Louvres, to the more secluded areas of the town, boredom was never a factor.
Arriving in Paris we found our hotel easily, just off the Gare de Lyon train station. Although we got two single beds pushed together, and a building site at our window, the hotel was generally excellent. At a small but friendly family business, we got a good sleep and a charming breakfast, before exploring the brisk February air of Paris.
The sheer amount of attractions is amazing, and the architecture stunning. We found ourselves just staring upwards at the buildings all day.
At night, we strayed into the Latin Quarter, and fell in love with the quirky restraunts all along the slender streets. Greek, French, Italian.. whatever, it was all here, and was delicious and affordable.
What a city, I will be back within the year!
