Having just returned from Staying at the Beverly Hills Club Los Cristianos I feel strongly about giving feedback about our stay there .

I have to share , after reading the reviews on here before we left I felt a little apprehensive ! Having said that my doubts were diminished as soon as we arrived @ the club .
The appartment we stayed in was lovely and clean , the whole complex was beautiful and very well organized , the staff were so helpful and would bend over backwards to meet our needs .
We ate a few times within the complex and the food was lovely but there are so many lovely places to eat near by ....2 min walk away ! ( Can I recommend the Belvedere ! It was truly amasing ) .
As for it being on a hill ..can I just say there is a bus that leaves every half hour that takes you down to Los Cristianos and will pick you up again later in the day or evening ...free of charge !
The entertainment in the complex was really good and Gordon King was an absolute star !
Thanks to the Staff @ Beverly Hills Club . We both had a brilliant holiday and cant wait to do it all again ....Soon !
With Kind Regards and Best Wishes

Reading the review below i find it hard to believe that we went the same month as we had a fantastic time.
The apartment was very clean with lots of space, the beds are very comfortable and showers are brillant. True the air con only come on between 3pm and 1pm but if you leave it on all this time with all the doors and windows shut it cools the apartment right down for the night (and as for cockroaches if you leave the windows open all day what do you expect, thay are as common as flys are in Britain the hotel can't be blamed for that)
Six of us were in the apartment for a couple of nights as we had guests so we had to use the sofa bed but this was also very easy to use and actually as comfortable as the beds
We did have a small problem with the safe but this was fixed within an hour of reporting it to reception
The shop for a hotel shop is very reasonable and even if you find it too expensive there are two more big supermarkets within a stones throw of the hotel.
The bar prices are again no more expensive then you would expect for a hotel bar (During happy hour which is between 4pm and 8pm is goes down to a euro a pint)
The pools are very clean and well kept, with lifeguards who are really on the ball (We never had to reserve a sunbed even later on in the day as there was always plenty the whole two weeks we were there)
We did have a visit from the reps but if you give a firm no like we did there is no problem, (and sorry but if you are daft enough to go to a meeting with them then you cant really complain about then keeping you. They did try and trick us to say it was a meeting to tell us what was going on in the resort but they still may as well as had "timeshare" written on there forehead)
Two things that really impressed me about this hotel was the fact that i got in touch with them first to request a quiet room as I am epileptic and need a good nights sleep. They got back to me the same day to say that yes this would be possible which really relaxed me and allowed me to look forward to the holiday (Some people on this site have complained that they did not get to change rooms, but sorry if you want a certain type of room you really should have got in touch beforehand, its a bit late when you get there as most if not all of the rooms will have been allocated)
Secondly my parents case was lost by the airline, and the hotel staff could not have been more helpful and did everything they could to make sure the case was retreaved as soon as possible, which it was two days later.
The so called "Cardic Hill" is a bit steep but there is a free bus avaiable if you do not fancy it. (My fittness is not great and I managed it fine) The hotel apartments are up some steps it is true but so are most apartments to be fair.
The resort in lovely with good bars and fab eating places, we ate in a different place every night and was never let down. The Mexican, Indian and Marguys are highly recommended. As for all the bars being closed before 12 this is total rubbish as we were out well past this most nights.
All in all a fab holiday and will def be returning

  • Advice: go to Sundays Market it is a great experience, and make the most of the different eating places they are all fab. Also give sian park the water park a try, a great day out but maybe consider taking your own food as it very expensive

This was our first time to Tenerife, The Beverley Hills Club was very nice a lot nicer than expected. We were treated with great respect especially by our promotional appointment. Although we always go to Lanzarote in a villa we loved this place, although a little hilly! On arrival our luggage was taken to our room which we were very grateful for as there are a lot of steps. The staff on the reception desk were excellent, anything you asked them they were very helpful. The restaurants nearby were also very good not one bad meal, maguys was very very good, the manager was very proffesional and the front guy Steve is a great guy. Entertainment was laid on most nights and we had a great laugh. So overall the holiday was just very very good so enjoy if you are heading there.

  • Advice: to use the discretional bus to get about.

This Was My Family's First Visit To Tenerife And The Beverlly Hills Club Made It A Holiday To Remember! Our Two Bedroom Apartment With Onsuite Bathroom And Kitchen/Diner Was Absoloutly Stunning! We Had A Lovely View Of The Relaxing Coutyard From Our Balcony And It Was A Brilliant Place To Catch Some Rays! As We Had Four Children Ranging From The Ages 8 - 16, We Needed Somthing To Entertain Them During The Day. There Were Two Reasonable Sized Swimming Pools ( Not Heated But Great For Cooling You Down On Hot Days ) And An Action Packed Games Room That Included A Soft Play Area, Bowling Alley, Air Hockey And Lots More. They Loved It! Also, There Was A Gym, Sqaush Courts, Tennis Courts And Saunas For The Adults! We Went In February And We Didn't Think That The Weather Would Be Too Hot... Suprisingly Though, It Got Up To 40 Degrees! Boiling! There Was A Calming Band On During The Evenings And The Bar Was Open All Day! The Little Supermarket Was Fab; Where My Daughter Would Buy Some Qausons! (They Were Outstanding!) They Sold Icecreams, Snacks And Cold Drinks. Around The Complex Were A Number Of Lovely Bars And Restaurants At Reasonable Prices. Bar 39, Taylors Lounge And La Italiona Were Some Of Our Favourites! The Sea Front Was Lovely In The Evenings; Great For The Kids! We Also Went On A Stunning Boat Trip And Spotted Some Whales And Dolphins! Amazing! There Are Various Golden Beaches Near By! A Great Holiday! Our Only Critisms Were The Reps. On Our Letter, We Were Promised That The Time Share Presentation Would Be 90 Minutes! Ours Went On For 5 And A Half Hours! Our Rep Put Us Under Alot Of Pressure To Buy Time Share. Also, She Kept Yapping On About Her Ex - Boyfriends And Showed Us Various Photo Albums. Whenever My Husband Asked Why We Were Here, The Rep Would Reply, " I Will Get To That Later. " It Was A Waste Of A Day! Trust Me! Also, The Lifegaurds By The Swimming Pools Would Not Allow Our Children To Jump Into The Swimming Pools Or Play With Inflatable Floats There! Only A Few Little Downers But Apart From The Bad Notes Listed, Our Stay At Los Cristianos Was The Best Holiday We Have Ever Had! We Have Already Booked To Come Again Next Year!!! Hope You Like It! Xxx

The Hotel itself is nice BUT it is not as nice as its 2 counter parts Hollywood Mirage & Beverly Hills Heights as the reviews would lead you to believe.
It is up a hill but the hill, is not as bad as described and certainly not "cardiac hill" as some stated.
However once down into Los Cristianos and having spent numerous years in Playa De Las Americas (La Pinta, Sunset Beach & Palm Beach Club), the area was somewhat disappointing and we found ourselves having to walk there most days.
Weather - the clouds ALWAYS seem to hover over the 3 hotels (situated over the mountains) and once you took the walk away from the hotel/ hills to the beach areas there were clearer skies and more chance of having an enjoyable day.
The Hotel itself is really nice with great staff, its just in a really naff location, it has 2 pools but they are both very small and if the weather had let us use them we would have had to walk to either Mirage or Heights which were larger and had higher quality sun loungers.
One last grip all the pillows in both our bedrooms on all beds were LUMPY!

  • Advice: Choose its counter parts the Mirage or Heights

Travelled with another family both with children. From the moment of booking this trip to the time we left we have had problems.
1) Silverpoint was not prepared to pick up from the North airport. Nowhere in our confirmation did it state this. Out of "goodwill" they refunded 50 pounds. It cost us 128 pounds one way only with a taxi!
2) On more than 3 different occasions we had stated that we have children with us, yet they still placed us in accomodation with a balcony on the top floor of the building. The balcony was not child safe. The room was not ready with the highchair and cot we had requested on a number of ocassions. One of the rooms had a broken microwave and a loose/open socket sticking out of the wall!
A salesperson booked a meeting with us in the middle of the week. Both families attended and we were told that our children will be happy in
the creche facility provided in Hollywood Mirage. We met the so called "qualified" child  minder for the creche. She assured us that she could take care of all
the children aged, 18 montgs, 3 years, 5, 7, 8 & 10 years old. She will give drinks snacks etc, change nappies & even is prepared with a small bed for the small ones to rest on if needed. -We dropped of the children and after approx 50 minutes one of us was called back as the baby of the group was crying. -I go with the intention of picking up only the youngest one only to find when I get to the creche ALL of the children are unhappy! There is no AC & the door is closed. The child minder is sitting away from the children playing with her telephone. My 10 year old is holding the crying baby. Both are very distraught.
Find out to my shock & horror that the childminder has been smoking in the same area as the children. She claims that she stepped outside to do this and if she did then who was watching our 2 youngest children?! They were offered nothing to eat or drink in this hot environment. Our 10 & 8 year old tell us that the child minder has not been doing anything except for sit & play with her phone! DISGRACEFUL & UNFORGIVABLE
The sales meeting:
We were greeted by a rep who took as to his "office". He walked us through a very noisy open planned office with approx 20 sales people each sitting at a small desk with their clients sitting opposite them. We were given refreshments & the meeting started with the rep asking us what we thought so far of this holiday. We were honest & told him our  trouble with the booking, no pick up from North airport, accomodation not ready, not suitable for small children, stairs and hills
everywhere with buggys/strollers is very difficult, the restaurant was awful selling disgusting microwave food or just basic deep overfried nuggets & chips!  Floppy, soggy hamburgers etc. Instead of the sales rep taking care of this in a professional manner, resorted to insults instead. Here are a few of them:
1) "Any intelligent person would not bring their children on a promotional holiday" What?!? So we should not come as a family to see if this is a place
that suits us and is worth investing in?
2) "What do you expect, you pay for what you get!" If this is the case then why have any promotional offers at all.
3) "Hilly place? Well you should get fit then!" It never occured to him that we have small children with strollers, we have older parents who will want to stay with us too and one of them is disabled. He didnt stop to think at all.
He walked off every 5 minutes to consult with one of his collogues who was sitting right behind us listening all the time to our conversation.
He said that we have to follow him on this tour or we will have to pay the full price of the accomodation. We refused to go on this tour as we said that this is just  not a suitable place for us. The sales person got very aggressive and started to point fingers and threaten us. When we asked to speak to the manager he told one of us to "sit your **** back down!" To which of course we told him what we thought of him & to get his manager immediately.
The manager told Skip to leave the area as he was not able to speak profressionally. The manager calmed the situation down & said that it  is better that we do not continue this meeting & for us to enjoy the  rest of our holiday. Mostly probably due to the disturbance to the othet clients because of raised voices.
Our recommendation:
If you want to invest in a timeshare, do your homework, do not let anyone bully you into signing anything. DO NOT leave your children with Silverpoints own creche facility and definately do not take their word for it that they are qualified, ask more questions and to see a certificate. Note: the crocodile club (hotel Kids Club) was good and the staff  there looked after the children well.
Needless to say we will not be coming back ever again and definately will be looking into other options for our future investment.

This is my first ever review. I decided to write it after reading what is written below and being amazed at the negative comments.
I have been going to the Beverley Hils for quite a few years and own a two week timeshare there. We bought one week first and liked it so much we bought a second week a few years later. We have always had a really good time and have been at Easter as well as Christmas. We've stayed in quite a few of the appartments including two bed and two bed and three bed duplex. All have been lovely, cleaned regularly by very nice maids > Bedding and towels are good quality and are changed regularly. The kitchens are pretty good too as are the balconies. Its right to say its not exactly in the middle of Cristianos, but we like that and lets face it you know that when you go.They don't hide it. Cristianos itself is a pleasant place and has some really good places to eat. The two beaches are also good.
My children came when they were teenagers and younger and enjoyed it very much and one returned with us last Easter for a holiday with her boyfriend.
We've always found drinks and food to be decent value, and although the little shop is expensive, aren't they always? There's always the supermarket after all.
The lifeguards have all been very pleasant and helpful, moving sun beds into the shade whenever needed and without being asked. The bar staff equally nice.
We were there last Easter when the Iclandic volcano stopped everyone from flying home . The Resort were lovely, letting us stay on free until we could get a flight back to the UK , 6 days later. I'm looking forward to my next visit.

Well, we already own a timeshare at the Beverley Hills Club and this year was our third stay at the complex.
We paid for our timeshare three years ago. We now pay our yearly maintainance fee of three hundred and odd Euros each year.
On the second day after our arrival there was a knock on the door and it was the usual reps on a sales pitch. They made themselves welcome in 'our'apartment. One of them stinking of stale beer and sprawled out on the chair. They asked us to go round to the office the next day so that they could update us with all the latest changes which they thought would be to our advantage. We ended up going round there. Bearing in mind that this is now eating into our holiday time. Basically they are now looking to upgrade everybody to buy points so that all your holidays are tied up with them. We stressed that we were not interested and we preferred to shop around for our main yearly holiday. We were made to feel like second class citizens. We were kept there for nearly three hours and then a sales manager came out to try to do a final close on us.
When I complained that I didn't think that the resort was as well looked after as previous years he just denied this and was not interested in our comments. A maid does come in and empty the bins daily but the rooms do not get a clean. When you way up the cost of purchasing the timeshare in the first place, the cost of your flights over there and the cost of the yearly fees this certainly is NOT value for money. We were definately made to feel the poor relations when we refused to make any further purchase. For all prospective purchasers I would definately think long and hard before committing.

Excellent Resort - shame about the sales tactics!!!

My partner has an exsisting time share. We were pleased when the offer of what seemed to be an extra week for £99 in Tenerife came along. Having been encouraged to book the week we were then told that we would have to sit through a time share talk of an hour or so. To their credit the company that arranged our transport managed to re-arrange our flights at short notice when Gatwick was closed for two days by snow. It is such a shame that the sales pitch for the trip wasn't entirely honest. Never mind, despite a day wasted listening to the time share salesman droning on and on and on about his acheivements and personal life, it wasn't a complete disaster. Just be warned and be strong willed and you might even get out of the Resort Properties offices before night fall!!!
As for the resort, it was clean and well run. We always found the staff freindly and informative. The site was well laid out and the accomodation was spacious, well planned and well equipped. The TV even had a number of UK satelite channels which was better than the usual mix of foreign channels!!!!! The entertainment was entertaining if not exceptional. Its worth bearing in mind that there is no entertainment on Friday or Saturday at this time of year. It could have been improved by making it a little more festive. The on site supermarket is well stocked if not the cheapest around. Excellent free bus from the site into town available throughtout the day for those who prefer not to be walking up and down the hills.

We stayed at the Beverly hills resort in august 2010. Paid £99 for a week via the RCI web site. Resort properties hosted the week. The resort was great and my children enjoyed themselves. Hired a car and drove around Tenerife.
Attended a 5 1/2 hour presentation. The salesperson tried his best to sell us timeshare which we didnt need. We met a couple who advised us against buying timeshare as they had lost alot of money.
Had a great time and I can recommend the resort. Just say no to the sales people and stick to your guns.

my wife and I had a lovely 2 week stay in BHC, it is a lovely place to stay, but beware !!!, there are Grifters (con men) working there. under no circumstances buy anything off them or you will live to regret it. if it looks too good it probably is, when they come knocking at your door just tell them no, don't engage them in any conversation, just tell them you are not interested. then relax and enjoy your holiday.

we have just come back from tenerife, from the beverly hills club. We got this holiday free with a holiday voucher on the understanding that we would have to attend a promotional meeting, bad idea,we were kept there for 4 and half hours, and after saying no,that we could not afford it as we were on a budget, the sales rep made one last failed attempt by fetching his boss,he was a young jumped up arrogant pig, with no manners,or morels, and very patronising,as to which i got that angry i told him to do one,but not that polietly,as to which the meeting ended rather abruptly, and me and my husband were free to enjoy our holiday. I would not use this resort again,i would rather book though a travel agent or jet2.com and get a much nicer resort for a great price. Please be aware of these reps, dont be bullied into anything,if you have to loose your temper to get the message through then do it,i know they have a job to do,but they have to understand that some people just are not financially stable to take time share.
