Tour Operator got it very wrong - luxury apartment - not.

Disabled facilities - of which the Operator was informed - completely unsuitable, no lifts staircases only.

The touts are everywhere and do not give you peace, you go to relax not be hassled. Children in the Night Club - after midnight - parents warned about Comedian's language but still they stayed - those poor kiddies were so tired, also lack of seating and being in my situation not having a seat is a bad idea.

Only good thing was the weather, the comment about cardiac hill is right - the taxis do a good trade.

The place is superb, a beautiful atmosphere and a great place to relax and have fun.

We visit Beverly hills club every year all the family goes its excellent. The night life at the Beverly hills club is unique there are different things happening every night. Its the place to be!

The swimming pools are a good size for swimming in and the games room is a good place to be when the weather is too extreme. In the games room there are staff to keep an eye upon the children and watch them in the jungle Jim.

This is a great place for all the family I recommend it.

Tenerife in autumn appears to be the domain of the over 55's who like to expose their over tanned bodies in thongs and gold jewellery. Images of Peggy Mitchell come to mind!

Not having been forewarned we visited with three boys who wanted to swim in the pool, play football and generally be children. BIG MISTAKE!!! Each dive into the pool was met with disgusted tuts from the bronzed beauties lying at its edge soaking up the rays. Sounds of bouncing balls were met with hostile stares - unfit parent was heard whispered and the island in general had a definite aura of "children should be seen and not heard".

I guess we maybe went at the wrong time of year. Perhaps it's great during the summer months when families descend en masse and noise, fun and laughter are expected. I would however advise caution if you intend taking the children out of school and visiting during the winter months. IF you do decide on this route might I suggest that you also take with you a very thick skin.

On a plus - the timeshare accommodation that we stayed in, despite being set at the top of "cardiac hill" was immaculate, well staffed and very friendly.

Would I go back? Maybe - but only between the months of June – August.

Lovely complex, the reception staff were fantastic, each member of staff have flags on their name badge of what language they can speak. Pool kept very clean, lifeguard on duty 9am-7pm.

Rooms kept clean, beds a bit hard and had a plastic sheet on them. Only downside are the time share sharks, the guy who spoke to us was "evil" !!! and i told him so!!

First of all I was very excited...

First of all I was very excited about staying in Beverley hills club in los cristianos. I travelled all day and finally got there. It was near the top of a hill but that is expected in Tenerife. As soon as we got out of the cab a porter was there and took our suitcases straight into reception and we were greeted extremely well. Got to the front of the queue for reception and the receptionist took our passports. She took one look at them and asked if one of us was over the age of 23, which we weren’t, so we said no. Then she just said 'then you cant stay here. Next!' and we were shoved to one side. I would not even have got an explanation if i had not demanded one. They were the most least helpful and rude people i have ever come across. They did nothing of the sort to try to help us out, just said that it was company policy so we had to leave. We were not told upon booking about the age restrictions so double check before you book. To be fair the place did look beautiful it was just the staff that were the downside. And the porter wasn’t so keen to help us carry our bags out when he realised he wouldn’t get a tip! So just a word of warning that you will get no help at all, just basically told you cant stay here.

Excellent holiday - 2 adults, 3 children, 12, 10 & 8.

The Beverley Hills Club is a timeshare complex but if you are willing to spend a couple of hours having them hard sell to you whilst drinking their coffee and eating their biscuits and keeping focused (unless you want to buy a timeshare) it is well worth the stay. We actually got this as free accommodation through a timeshare presentation we went to in Gran Canaria last year.

We bought our flights separately and set off for our holiday. We were expecting to have to get a taxi from the airport - but a courtesy coach picked us up. The Beverley Hills Club is a lovely complex. We were given a 2-bedroom apartment (with ensuite) and a separate bathroom. We were on the ground floor right outside one of the two swimming pools (which are constantly manned by lifeguards). It was like having a swimming pool in our back garden. There was a kids club, which ran from 10.30 - 12.00 and 2.30 to 4.30. All the kids loved it. There is a free courtesy bus to the beach. The clubhouse entertainment was excellent most nights (you always get the one odd naff act). Happy hour from 6-9pm. The drinks were not priced too badly either.

You could even put them on a tab and added to your room bill at no extra charge. You could also use the pool at the sister complex, Beverley Hills Heights, which is just up the hill. (had a slightly bigger pool there) We as a family don’t mind walking, It is about a 15 minute walk to the beach (downhill) which is also where a lot of the restaurants are - we went to a different restaurant every night, didn’t get a naff one. The entertainment staff and receptionist were very polite and helpful. Got nothing bad to say at all. Maid service every day - with a smile (how do they do that).

My only moan is that I thought the price of two sunbeds on the beach for 9 euros was a bit steep - the ones at the pool are free and a lot more comfortable. The supermarket attached to the complex is a bit expensive, the one just up the hill is better and bigger. Hope this helps.

This is an excellent location...

This is an excellent location and the standard of accommodation is high. We went last year too & really enjoy it.

The staff are 1st class, we love the sports area and it's a good idea to pay 15 euros to get a resort card. It entitles you to bowling, squash, tennis, saunas, gym plus towels every day.....really good value. Lovely restaurant up the road called the Belvedere. Whale & dolphin watching is a highlight & I recommend Freebird 1 which they'll book for you at reception.

Explore the old town & the harbour area, there's plenty to see and do and of course very good weather. Mt Teide is also very interesting, take a jumper as it gets cool up there. We'll likely go again next October too.
