Ova Resort Hotel

Have just returned from a week at Ova resort. Had a great time good weather, rooms were basic but fine for the money we paid. pools were clean and staff were friendly. Liked the idea of a relaxing pool as well as the main pool both pools would benfit from more sunbeds. Range of drinks was quite poor and were they watered down? cant say but a lot of people were. The food a wide selection of salads but the hot food became very repetative very quickely by day 5 we were eating out. Flights with Thomas cook were terrible both night flights and both delayed. How ever for the money paid we had a great time and the beach is out of this world

Lovely hot weather, people friendly as anything. Pool was relaxing, staff lovely and polite. Entertainment team very amusing and take good care of you!
Food, yes there were some leftovers from the night before, but overall there was so much freshly made bread, salad and fish each night, I was very impressed!
Definatly planning to go back! Just need to find the time! But I loved it!! Highly Recommendable!

I have just returned from ova resort (Turkey) I was there for 1 week me and my partner.6th - 14th
It is by far over rated ,
Food : Very Repetitive you get the same left overs from the night before. Absoulutely disgusting I am far from a fussy eater but most nights ended up eating out , Most of the meats were tasteless. I would not recommend the food there. They do provide salads and olives and also turkish afters. We had kebab 1 night that was gourgeous but everything else was dissapointing.
Hotel Rooms
Small rooms but good value for money the only faults I have would be having to put your tissues in the bin after using the loo, also alot of ant's.
Alcoholic drinks
Watered down completely.
Staff
Chico and leo and barbie were friendly but can be very annoying throwing water on you etc when your trying to relax by the pool.
Thomas cook
Flight was very horrible left at 12am boarded plane 3.50am reached london 6am long que's and thomas cook were not that much help.
Hisronu area.
Most people very friendly but in the markets very aggresive.
Overall good but would not go back there.

this holiday was the best ive ever been on, staff are excellent with children you are garenteed to have a really good time. Swimming pool was really good it had a water slide for the children and adults, they also play water polo which is like handball but in water. a definate 10 out of 10!!!!!

fab!! all the staff are amazing in particular leo, chico, tu tu and barbie, i would strongly recommend the ova resort for everyone it is absolutely ace! there is strong emphasis on family there and you do really feel that you are part of the ova resort family, the staff cannot do enough to help you. i have had so much fun at the ova resort and i cried when i had to go! my holiday was incredible, and i plan on going back very soon.

Me and my partner had a wonderful holiday at the ova resort, the staff were very friendly and couldnt do enough for us, the only negative point was that our room was directly over the pool and in the evenings that is where the entertainment was held as you can imagne it was very loud but it all stopped at 12 midnight every night, the food was lovely with fresh salad and a good selection of meats and fish and also a good selection of hot food too we also had a sea salt scrub and massage at the resort which was £30 and was well worth the money i recommend it to anyone who stays there. We will definately go there again.

This is a fantastic resort for the money we paid (500 for 1 week for 2) even if you have paid more you will not be disapointed. The staff are really friendly but not overly so. The entertainment team work really hard to keep the kids entertained. Rooms are fine and clean,maid service evey day. Views are fantastic of the mountains. Food is great if you like salads and tastey turkish syle cassaroles,if you like your english food then prehaps spain would be better for you!!! It is a nice walk into town with bars on the way. We were definetly suprised at how good this place was compaired to last min holidays we had previously booked,we would recomend this place to anyone and return ourselves.

Myself and the family had a fantastic two weeks at the Ova resort. We had been there for the first time May 2007 and couldnt wait to book it again and so went back this year. Could not fault anything. The entertainment was great, Leo, Chico and Tu Tu were fantastic. All staff very friendly and always ready to help.
People who say the food is very basic, i actually thought there was a lot of choice. As for english breakfast, if u want to eat english food you should of stayed at home. But for those who cant live without it, theres a bar just a little walk from the resort that will serve you an english breakfast.
The rooms were very nice, and they were cleaned and bed changed everyday.
Theres a market in Hisaronu on Monday, u can catch the bus to get there. lots of things that might catch your eye. There are also a number of trips you can go on each day, which the resort or rep will arrange for you.
We went to the hotel beach which was lovely, theres a bus that comes to the resort to pick you up and bring you back.
We also went to the aqua park in Fethiye. Again the resort arrange a coach for you. We had a nice time but we expected it to be a lot bigger than it was.
On the last day of our holiday we went on the Dalyan departure, as our flight was a late night flight, so we thought we would do the trip before we went home. The trip itself was good but was not impressed with the hotel we was booked into. If you didnt like the Ova resort, theres no way you would like this one. It cost £36 pound each and there was 4 of us.
All in all fantastic holiday, missing Ova resort already!!!
Will definately be back next year!!!

this holiday was everything and much more,i had such a brilliant time i cried when i left,the entertainment staff leo chico and tu tu were spot on always on the go they made the holiday,the rooms were basic but its a holiday all you need them for is sleep and to have a shower ,i couldnt fault the hotel or the staff ,as soon as id finished my drink the bar staff were asking me if i wanted more seriously amazing hotel ,ive been coming to turkey since i was 6 and the ova resort tops them all.hoping to go bk in august
