Well Iam amazed that I still have any hearing left at all, this loudness would be banned in UK. The hotel entertainment was very very poor we spent 14 nights cramped in a tiny area playing cards whist all the adults tried to escape from the damagingly loud headbanging din that they called music. This row went on every night we could not go away from the hotel as one of our party was dissabled. Tiny children were left running arround the dance floor up until 11pm when it all closed down. This was a disgusting way to treat guests. We complained but the manager wasn't interested. We also had cockroaches in our bedroom. and no lights in the toilets. Would you want a holiday like this??????????

We have just got back from the Caledonia Park. This is our 4th visit to this hotel. We had yet another great time. Staff, food, pool and entertainment were spot on. The only thing that gets me down about this hotel (and every other hotel i have been to) are the people who spend their whole holiday moaning about different things. I wish you would all stay at home, you know who you are!!!!
Other than that, value for money 10 out of 10

Caledonia Park is a nice hotel, not in Las Americas as we were told when we booked but can easy get a taxi!
Food is just like any other All Inclusive deal, you get what you pay for, its definitely not a 5* restaurant or anything but has well cooked dishes that we enjoyed!
I went with my boyfriend and we loved all the entertainment, we were 18 and 19 at the time, it is quite family orientated but still loads of fun, I had him up on stage every night, the best night they do is the hypnotist!
The bathrooms are really modern and your room is huge you even have stairs which take you to the roof where you could chill out under the gorgeous sunshine! Our rooms were cleaned often and we were given clean towels and extra ones when we requested them.
We like to visit different places so aren’t really looking to go back any time soon but if we did I would go back to Caledonia Park.

The food choices available were fine.

I was so worried about going on this holiday because of the reviews i had read previously. I was imagining cockroaches everywhere and having to check into another hotel. However, i was pleasantly suprised. The hotel does not look much from the outside and the reception area is a bit bare, but our apartment number 551 was really nice. I had asked for a high room and close to our friends who were in 554. Both requests were met. The room was clean and spacious but did lack utensils in the kitchen. Our balcony was huge and had the sun all day. We did prefer to sunbathe on the balcony as the pool area was crowded and their were lots of children around (we dont have any)The hotel is in a good position and the hill is not that bad at all. We did not go all inclusive so i cannot comment on the food, however most people around the pool were eating chips (not sure if thats all that wasd offered). There was entertainment on every night but not my cup of tea at all (hypnotists, tribute acts etc)When we checked out of the hotel we were offered a courtesy room for no extra charge for as long as we liked. I did not see any cockroaches near the hotel and our room was cleaned every other day apart from Sunday.

We read other reviews before heading out for our first visit to Tenerife hoping for the best . . . and that is what we got. We booked last minute on line, and were not disappointed.
Our room was spotless - the staff were cheery and helpful - and we had no problems getting space by the pool.
I have to recommend the packed lunches. We did a couple of the day trips and the contents of those brown bags were excellent. And can be picked up before breakfast time. Just remember to book them the night before.
We booked all inclusive, and to be honest, were not disappointed. The food choices available were fine - enough variety to satisfy the fussiest (which to be honest, neither of us are), and enough to fill us up after a day of walking.
If we had to pick a recommendation to pass on, guys, if you fancy a drink, go for the house Cava. Served very cold it is dry enough to please...
If you are booking any trips, there is a booth just down the hill from the hotel and the guy in there is excellent and knows his stuff.
In short, we would go back - and intend to.

just returned from caledonia hotel with my partner and 2 year old son. food was ok something different every dinner and tea never had problem with my son who is a very fussy eater infact he ate better than at home. really enjoyed the stay here rooms were basic but ok i mean how many times do u actually stay in the room? dont no what people are moaning about the only downfall is the killer hill its on lol but can cope with that it aint that bad really. would defo go there again for some winter sun. in my opinion i think sum people want 5 star hotels for 3 star money they wanna wake up not gonna happen. all in all we had a great time there n whoever said waiters were miserable cant see that they talked with my son and ourselfs breakfast, lunch n dinner can not complain bout them at all.would go back again n would reccomend family n friends

I have just returned from a week booked in the Caledonia Park, It was one of the worst holidays I have ever experienced.
Booked for two adults and arrived 21:00, we were allocated a ground floor room which looked out onto the two pool tables and the temporary drinking area. I asked to be re allocated and we were given a room on the sixth floor. My wife inspected the bathroom only to be greeted by a large cockroach which I proceeded to chase down the sink.
The room was generally tidy but the balcony area had not been cleaned for some time, the table and chairs were covered in a film of dirt. The balcony overlooked an area covered in litter and feral cats. We attempted to sleep but the road noise made this very difficult and the refuse truck arriving at 3:30 am every morning immediately outside our window added to the insomnia.
The pool area was quickly filled with towel covered sun beds many people standing around with piles of towels while the pool area was cleaned, consequently we had no real access to the pool area or sun beds.
The food was of a general poor standard although was not one of the worst aspects of the hotel by a long way.
4:00am Wednesday morning I awoke to find a large cockroach crawling on my face, I immediately informed reception and a security guard and myself proceeded to chase a number of cockroaches around the room killing two small and one extremely large roach. I asked for another room as was told the only a room in the same area was available until the morning. I went along with the security guard to inspect, only to find a cockroach in the bathroom which the guard proceeds to kill. The room was sprayed with a foul anti cockroach spray. We spent a fitful night attempting to sleep in this room, the following morning reception informed the only other room available was on the lower pool level again.
We left the hotel and booked into a four star Hotel in Torviscos for the remainder of our holiday.
I returned towards the end of my stay to take photographs for documentary evidence and saw a number of dead roaches that had been present three days earlier include a large roach been eaten by ants on our balcony.
If you are booked into this hotel please make alternate arrangements a soon as possible.

Me and my wife went to this hotel, the photos make it look great the reason being is that they were taken when the hotel first opened up.
we got there and the greeting we got was not very receptive whatsoever, we looked at two rooms which were a disgrace i thought we booked a hotel not a YMCA Hostel, upon checking the bed's we found excrement(poo) marks and pubic hairs to which i have photos for proof.
we complained to the receptionist and the reply was we have no more rooms if you don't like it speak to the rep in the morning.
this was my first holiday abroad with my wife and my first holiday to tenerife, luckily enough it didn't scar me for life.
it was that bad we had to get drunk and sleep on the sofas until the morning when we spoke to the rep who told us that the receptionist was a mardy arsed cow in so many words and everyone complains about her, i had to pay 130 euro's to move hotel because it was dirty so not only was the hotel not a warm or friendly one it was also dirty, we also found out that the reason for the way things were was down to a lack of staff as they hotel was closing down in 3 months time for a full refurb as it was losing money on all inclusive deals and was re-opening as a self catering hotel in the future... my advice is stay away from the hotel as you know saying a leopard knever changes its spots...
we ended up in apart-hotel columbas which was much better and closer to the beach aswell.
