had a really good holiday apart from the hotel we went September 13 2010 till the 27 September 2010. after a week in this hotel we started to see mould coming through 1 of our walls in the bedroom all in the bathroom and the kitchen cupboards where we kept the plates and that and we had to move rooms. that put me and my mates off ever going back kavos but apart from that we had a great holiday it was just closing down everywhere the second week we was there

Got back from Kavos, Corfu last night and miss it all already. The apartments were clean an very basic but when all you need is to keep your stuff safe and somewhere to sleep thats all that matters. The nightlife is so good and goes on all nyt! The Barn which is just infront of the Kapris has good music and everyone is really friendly, even the PRs.
Would go back and do it all again.

Our first impression when the transfer coach stopped outside was "oooeeeee very nice! is this 1 ours?" and it was!
We were Met by our Rep Sean who was lovely and helpfull all week. He showed us to our rooms that are through "the barn" which is an open plan (24hour)lounge/bar that serves food and is full of sofas, fans and big plasma TVs. You also get to use the laptops for free when you order food(facebook!).
Just behind the Barn away from the roadside is the Kaparis and its well Kept pool and plenty of sunbeds and Young groups of lovely sunbathers!;-) The rooms with Kitchen/bathroom are clean, baisic and a good size, we had 3rooms of 3 for us 9 Manchester Girlies (all 18 some of us on our 3rd clubbing holiday abroad) and had a very comfortable stay. You could buy air con, it was about 40euro for the week but we cba getting it and we were fine, Sean nicked us some un-used fans from reception :-D The maid cleaned and changed the sheets/bins three times whilst we were there, which was fine. You do get 1 loo roll, luckily I had brought one with me tho coz we ran out and found it usefull to take some everywhere, daytrips, nights out, meals coz not may places had any!
Our days were spent chilling at the pool/Barn or the beach which is just 5min down the rd. Our 2nd Rep Andy kept us entertained at the pool every now and then with his microphone, dares and dirty Cd's hehe.
At night Get yourself to TKD's! Its a 5min walk down the strip from the Kaparis and right near all the best bars/clubs. We started off every night with a TKD's watermelon about 10.30pm (the food is amaazing too) they are $5 each HUGE and get you Waaaaasted! the only other drink ull need after that is a $3 head [--] at BUZZ BAR.YUM.Or Chocolate orgasm YUM! Buzz is the biggest bar it gets dead busy and ppl flood out into a party on the street, its best for getting up and dancing on the tables/poles! Music is miiiint there! but The police drive past BUZZ at 3am (and get harshly BOOED haha) and they have to turn the music off, its ok tho! Coz then every1 goes round the corner to ATLANTIS (our fav) which has dead gd music and is on the beach, by 3.30am its packed, they have a bonfire, you watch the sun come up! then walk 5min down the beach and roll into bed at the lovely Kaparis! Or if ur still wide awake go bak to tho barn where there is always sum1 chilling, playing pool, having a laff, met loads of great ppl, made our holiday!
Best. Week. Ever.
Just dont book the booze cruise with 18-30, we booked ours seperatly down the rd for $20 euro less and ours sounds like it wes loads better too! I brought $260 for the week and had some extra euros left on the last day to spend on souveneers like professional photographs taken of us in clubs and bracelets. We did book 3nights and a water park with 18-30 for $110 each and they were good; our first nite was a bar crawl and 2hr free bar at trinity (which is uluslly $5 a drink!) so good! we defoo drank our moneys worth and the last nite was a silent disco! we didnt rly kno what to expect but it was a LOT of fun! left early tho to catch the end off buzz then atlantis :D just cant keep away from that place! We Miss it soomuch!!!!
aaanyway
I would Strongly recommend you stay here if your looking to book a "clubbing" holiday. Kavos is the place to be! book it now!

we had a top time in Kavos.. loved every minute!! we werent impressed with the rooms to begin with as there were ants EVERYWHERE!!! but once we were moved we were happy! dont expect to much from the shower.. as it was just a shower head hung over the taps which ment u had to hold the shower head whilst having a wash haha...
our rep dave (largey!!)was brill... we loved him to bits.. he tried his best to make our stay at the hotel comfortable.. and got us loadsa freebies for the inconvinience of being moved... he was always there if we needed him for anything and we had a good laugh wiv him to.... the 18-30s was good we went on a few of the trips which wer ok except the boat trip which was runied by a storm.. which ment the trip was ruined so that was a waste of 55 euros each but the other trips were a laugh.. loved the cabaret!! we would recommend this to any one up for a lively night n a good laugh....
overall kavos was a brilliant holiday but we wouldnt go again just yet as theres not realli a lot to do there.. we were there for 7 days which we thought was long enough.. but im sure we will return one day!!
if your an outgoing person up for anything we would recommend this holiday to you!!

Got back from Kavos a two weeks ago, had the best time of my life over there! the clubs are all great with all different kinds of music playing. The best bars and clubs i thought were BUZZ!!! Atlantis!!! Rolling Stones!!! The Barn!! Bonkers!! Everyone moans about the PR's but i didnt find them a problem there really friendly to speak to and if you just tell them that you'll call back later then thay are fine. The accomodation it's self is VERYYYYYY basic and i found the beds fall to peices if you try to move them, the bathroom well shower room was ok but the shower head wasn't attacted to the wall. i would also advise people going in the future to take or either buy when you get there a towel and some toilet roll. I found there wasnt much to do in the day apart from either sunbath, have a splash in the pool or go for a wonder down the strip or to the beach. The Water Park is a good day out. And so is the boat trip(so i got told), most of the reps are sooo funny and easy to get along with. By far this is the best holiday for young people in my opinion, and i am certainly going back next year. IT WAS THE BEST TWO WEEKS OF MY LIFE!!!!

My four friends and I (all between ages of 19 and 20) went to Kavos on the 14th of July for a week. We stayed in Kaparis Beach Club and had one of the studio apartments which consisted of two bedrooms, a bathroom, a kitchen area and a very large balcony which looked over the pool. The apartment was satisfactory but to be honest we were not in it much, only when getting ready to go out at night. We paid for air conditioning and a safety box, however we did not have to pay for towels or sunbeds and we bought toilet roll from the local shop. The room was only cleaned once which wasn't really a problem apart from the bathroom, as you are not allowed to flush your toilet roll :S and the showers are not attached to the wall so the floor tended to get a bit wet and dirty.
The apartments are attached on to The Barn, a pub/restaurant. We ate at The Barn everyday for lunch, the prices are very reasonable and the food is great!! There was also a dj who played music during the day at the pool, some days it was quite random like christmas tunes in July...but I loved it! At night The Barn is the perfect meeting place, and they served my favourite cocktail (The Barn special!).
We went with club 18-30, and although a lot of people believe it to be a rip off we all thought it was great. Our rep Dave was fabulous and as soon as we got there he bought us all a wee cocktail and sat down and told us about all the offers. He did not push us in to anything at all as there were a few things we were not interested in, but one of our fave nights def had to be the cabaret!!! The nightlife is great...loved Buzz bar, Bonkers, Futures, Atlantis, Afters and loads moree! To be honest we did spend a lot of time out in the streets partying because everyone gathers there. We felt it was great because it is pretty small so any friends you make you meet most nights, and everyone seemed really friendly.
I would really recommend Kaparis beach Club and Kavos to anyone thinking of going on a party holiday, althought one thing I would say is maybe take more than 1 beach towel with you!!! And if you're flying with thomas cook watch because they charge you mega money for every single kilo you are over!

Well... Kavos is a good laugh if you are young and single but i wouldnt recommend it to those in a relationship or over 24. Some of the bars and clubs are really good, my favourites were Buzz and Rolling Stone. Not a good place for cocktails, most are mainly fruitjuice and not worth ur money. Watch out on the roads cuz there are no pavements and cars dont tend to stop for you. Our hotel (the Kaparis) was quite good because it was part of the Barn which has loads of tellys and serves food in the day, and a lot of people go there at night. We had to pay for towels and toilet roll though which was abit annoying, and the rooms arent cleaned very often and the sheets wernt changed whilst we were there. From what ive heard, most of the hotels near the clubs are pretty much like this. The hotel was only a seconds walk to the beach which was good, but it was a few mins away from the main strip. Our main problem with our hol was the 18 - 30 rip off nights... most are alright but definately not worth the money and dont be fooled by the free bar, they are usually at the end of the night when youve had too much to drink anyway. We met loads of people who handed over almost 100euros or more as soon as they got to their hotel for these 18-30 trips, so if u plan to go on them id take some extra cash. The thing i disliked most about Kavos was the smell! Wasnt overpowering but in some areas it really stinks of sewage! Overall it was alot of fun in Kavos, the weather was great and i wudnt mind going back. I preferred Laganas in Zante for a clubbing hol because its a nicer place and the shops/clubs are better, but Kavos is bigger and a bit more lively.

I got back from Kavos on monday 7th July, and went for 7 days. Me and my 3 friends, aged 17 and 18, stayed in the Kaparis Barn Complex. I think we had one of the best rooms in the hotel because we were directly above the pool and had a massive balcony, and 2 bedrooms. The room itself was basic, a bed and a wardrobe which didnt have enough hangers. The kitchen was ok but all the saucepans and cutlery were dirty so we had to wash them in boiling water before we used them- got the impression they expected you to eat out but we cooked pasta and noodles in our kitchen. One thing I hated about the room was the fact that you had to pay for toilet paper and you werent provided with towels, and there was no mop so after a week of treading sand and spilling drinks etc the room was disgusting! The maid came once and then the day we left but all she did was tidy the bed and take the bottles out. Also beware of damaging anything because there is a specific price list on the door about charges for breaking anything, so if something doesnt work make sure you report it!
The pool was nice but you had to pay 3 euros for a sunbed, and the barn played music all day which was a little blagging with a hangover. However there is a beach literally 2 mins away which is quiet. Beware Nicky the crazy sunbed lady!!
Kavos itself is pretty dirty and does smell in certain places! My favourite place was rolling stone because it played indie music, but buzz bar, 42nd street and snobs were good too. the Rock Inn does good deals on cocktails. TANGO BAR DOES NOT.
After (at the back of atlantis) is cool because its on the beach, but you can only sit on the sunbeds if you buy a drink.
To be honest Kavos is full of chavs! but we didnt see much violence at all when we there.
If you go with club 18-30 beware of the reps! we hated our rep and felt that the excursions were way overpriced. for example a pub crawl was 35 euros but you could have tagged along for free, the 35 euros was basically for an hour free bar which not many people got their money back at because it was right at the end of the night when everyone is already ****ed. Our rep seems really uncaring and also like he didnt have a clue what was going on, like we didnt get our tickets for trinity from him we had to go running after him because he had failed to post them through our door!
The greeks workin in the shops are friendly and you can usually barter with them for stuff or theyll throw in a free bottle of champagne with your alcohol etc.
Most of the clubs stay open till 5-6 or later, and the barn plays music till this time so you cant sleep if you go in earlier than this. Also a lot of people on their way in jump in the pool and sing and shout which also wakes you up- so you are best off staying out all night !
Overall Kavos is perfect if you love drinking and dancing and lots and lots of lads everywhere, and dont mind living in a [-]hole for a week or two :p but if you want any peace and quiet, or anything scenic then it isnt the place for you.
The barn does full english breakfasts made with english ingredients for 3 euros- had one every day and thought they were amazing
I went to Zante last year and out of the two I would choose Zante

Just came back from the kaparis beach in kavos, hotel was basic but more than adequate for what you need in kavos, all you need is a bed to get your head down, fridge for the endless amounts of alcohol, and a shower. all this is fine.
You'll hear people go on about the smell, its not as bad as people make out, it smells for about 10 mins a day in my opinion,
the endless amount of drinks offers if your in a group is brilliant.
kavos nightlife is awesome,
i went club 18-30 and would recommend you to try the foam party and water park both of which are brilliant, boat trip was ok but after a heavy night out the last thing you want to do is be on a boat the next day

Recently returned from 2 weeks in Kavos with a group of five girls, including myself. I have to say that I was disappointed in what Kavos had to offer.
Firstly, the holiday did not get off to a good start as we were delayed for 8 hours! However we were put up in a hotel at the airport, which was good and allowed us to get some sleep before flying. Through things that I heard I wasn’t expecting Kavos to be very pretty and nice to look at, this to me was confirmed as it was nothing like being in a Greek Village, everything was designed for clubbers.
To sum up the Kaparis, or as the reps pronounced it 'Caprice', Beach Club in one word I would say BASIC! We were there for two weeks and the sheets were only changed once.
The pillow that we were provided with was like it had cornflakes in it and the apartment was generally dirty. Although the maid did visit a few times, we were not sure what she actually did, because when we left my friend noticed a USED condom under her bed that had been there from previous guests! Lovely!
However, one positive point is the size of our room, we were in a room for five, and so had 3 in one room and 2 in a another. There was lots of wardrobe space and the balcony was huge. However, the bathroom or as it should have been named 'wet room' was not too nice. There was no shower curtain or hook, so, as a result everything in their got drenched. Plus the toilet broke a couple of times and the water had a tendency of going off!!
As all rooms face the pool expect to be woken up between the hours of 10-11am to music and gradually it gets louder and louder and quite frankly listening to Eminem every morning for two weeks is enough to drive anyone around the bend.
Onto the nightlife... this was a huge let down to me as all the places played the same music and there was no variety, apart from rolling stones which plays indie and rock. There were no bars where you could sit and have a chilled out night, without watching TV, is needed trust me!
The PR's are the most annoying people ever and trust me you cannot escape them, why can’t they face that you will go where you want to go!! Leave everyone alone!! They are only interested in getting you as drunk as possible so that you put yourself in a coma or need your stomach pumping!!
Fab places to eat are Tex Mex, which is situated 2 mins walk from the Kaparis and serves great Mexican and English foods. TKD's is great if you fancy a bit of posh grub too!! Situated above Atlantis, next to Trinity.
Our rep was a waste of space and only interested in sleeping with as many girls as possible.
Also way too pushy and got us doing the 18-30's deal which was a rip off!! Don’t be fooled by the words 'Free Bar', you are paying for it and it is often at the end of the night when you cannot drink anymore and are ready to be sick!! Plus its only on certain drinks, which were all horrible and in little plastic cups, like being at a children's party!!
In conclusion, I did not have a good time in Kavos, but if you are looking for a holiday where you don’t care what your accommodation is like, want to go clubbing every night, drink as much as possible and don’t mind listening to the same music every night then Kavos is the place for you. As you can probably see, I will not be returning to Kavos, although my four other friends had a good time, it was not the holiday for me.

Amazing holiday and hotel!!
Is clean, everyone that works there is really friendly and helpful. Its part of a really cool bar called barn, which is open all day and night, so you can roll in from a night out and start drinking again whilst relaxing by the pool.
The pool is quite small but its big enough for the amount of people that stay there.
I cant think of anything that was bad about the hotel!! It is perfect for a group of friends looking for a messy holiday! The reps were really nice too, weren't too in your face, but they told you all the things that were going on during your stay and let you pick what you wanted to pay for.
I would definitely go back there!!! And I would recommend it to everyone.
It is in a great position, is about 5 minutes from the strip and about 5 minutes walk from the beach as well.
There is also a supermarket next door to the hotel, which is great for buying alcohol.
Amazing hotel! Amazing holiday! Kavos is amazing!!! GO TO CRASH BAR!!!!!
