My husband and I went to Prague for 3 days starting on Boxing Day. I booked the Hotel and flights all online, this was my first time I had booked a holiday on line, I could not believe how easy it was. We flew with Jet 2.com. This is an excellent no frills airline.
We would definitely use again. The Hotel Corinthia Towers was excellent. The rooms were very spacious and modern, it really is a beautiful hotel. On level 25 there is a fantastic indoor pool, as well as a sauna, and steam bath. For all you fitness fanatic’s there is a state of the art gym, also squash courts. On the lower ground floor there is a bowling ally, with a lovely bar-cafe. There are three other places to eat in the hotel. The food is excellent. This is a 5 star hotel and deserves each one. With booking online we only paid 3 star price!!! Prague itself is a beautiful city, very easy to get around.
They have an excellent underground Metro system, just a word of warning though be aware that the metro gets very crowded so please be aware of pickpockets, keep your money and credit cards close to you. My bag has four zips which are always kept shut, when I got off the Metro the zips were all open, luckily my husband had all our cash on him so they didn’t get anything, but please just take that little bit more care.
Don’t let this put you off, it’s a great place to go for a short break.
