The Glasshouse occupies the 5th/6th floors of the Ormi Leisure Complex which is a new development just a few minutes' walk from Princes Street. Entrance to the hotel is through an impressive church façade which reveals an ultra modern interior with contemporary designed rooms and suites all of which have views either over the city or the Carlton Hill Folly. Most rooms have their own patios or terraces and the hotel also has the added attraction of a rooftop garden.

Set within 20 acres of mature woodlands, the hotel comprises a 16th Century tower house and steading. Retaining its original charecter and offering exclusivity and seclusion, its hard to believe Edinburgh and Glasgow are within such easy reach. Close by are many places rich in history such as Linlithglow and its ancient palace.

The hotel is a late georgian regency style building with original, and ornamental features. The ballantrae was built in the 1830s and has a warm modern ambience with a friendly atmosphere. Ideal for shopping, entertainment and it is walking distance to most major tourist attractions. This property was built in 1830 renovated in 1999.

The Original Raj Hotel is situated only minutes away from the centre of Edinburgh. Unique in its splendour the hotel recreates memories of the British in India. Whist the original house has marble columns, a grand oak panelled staircase and period furnishings guests will discover the Norton House Hotel also offers luxuries with a more contemporary style.
