Very clean apartments and pool-they were cleaned everyday. Very welcoming and helpful people throughout the town. Apartment staff very helpful and offered there services whenever required and recommended pleasant excursions.
Located in a small town but has good transport links to Zante town and has plenty of restaurants and bars to keep you occupied only short walking distance from beautiful beach. Enjoyed holiday and would definitely return to Litsa Apartments.

Alykanas is undoubtedly the prettiest resort on the island of Zakynthos. Its beach is wide and sandy without any shingle, and the seabed descends gradually making it great for people with young children. It is backed by beautiful countryside.
We stayed in the Litsa studios, which were a bit of a trek from the beach, but were clean, well equipped and had a great pool.
There’s not a great deal to do in Alykanas, as there is only one club, but the restaurants are great, and just a couple of kilometres down the road, the bigger resort of Alykes offers all the watersports you could wish for and an even larger collection of restaurants.
If you’re looking for a holiday in a quiet, uncrowded place with a gorgeous beach and some lovely romantic restaurants then Alykanas is definitely the place to go. And don’t forget to explore the rest of the island - the Blue Lagoon and the Blue Caves are some of the most stunning places. And if you’re lucky you might see one of the famous Zakynthos turtles!

We stayed at the Litsa in August. The accommodation is very basic and clean although the towels and sheets were only changed twice a week. I asked for clean towels on a non change day and did get them under protest. The owner of the complex does not make his guests very welcome! Nobody uses the bar at night time as Dennis (the owner) has his family there playing cards.
On check out day beware as the cleaner will try to evict you from your room before 9am.
Try eating at the Mantalina just up from the Greedy Greek on the left hand side. Really good food.
Luckily there were some great people staying at the Litsa so we had a good holiday.
