La Villa Hotel

What a beautiful place to stay.... La Villa has great standard: the rooms are stylish and clean, huge and elegant with anything you want ready for you. The setting is extraordinary and you can spend days laying by one of the four pools: especially the one overlooking the harbour is breathtaking. We stayed at La Villa as the 4th hotel on our 2 week honeymoon in October 2004. The hotel itself has a fantastic setting above Calvi, and the room itself was lovely - very big, with a huge bathroom attached. Unfortunately the service from the hotel left much to be desired. The attitude of staff we felt was rude, and being a 4 star luxe hotel we felt looked down upon (perhaps because we did not conform to their standard of clientale).
