Superb holiday for those who want escape and be indulged.

I have just returned from a fantastic three week family break at High Life and enjoyed every minute. The hotel more than lived up to our expectations, having previously read the Trip Advisor reviews. The owners and staff were brilliant, and work exceptionally hard to make your stay as relaxing and enjoyable as possible. The rooms were clean and spacious, although I would recommend the rooms overlooking the pool for the best views. The restaurant was excellent, and at the start of the holiday we regularly ate lunch by the pool and used the restaurant at night, we also ordered drinks throughout the day and late at night at the bar. However, we were shocked by the large bill at the end of the first week, as an alternative we bought snacks and alcohol at the local supermarket, which has an excellent deli counter with a wide selection of delicious, freshly made meze and ate on our balcony. The beach by the hotel was disappointing, although very popular with the locals, was covered in litter and broken glass. We hired a car to explore the area as the best beaches, historical sites and the harbour are not within easy reach of the hotel. We discovered numerous beautiful, safe and clean beaches that cater for all tastes, some very busy, some very quiet, our particular favourites were Lara Beach, Camelot Beach and Escape Beach. The car hire rates at the hotel are very competitive, but negotiate the price with the hotel owner, Beha, as the daily rate tends to differ from guest to guest. We will definitely return to the hotel next year.

We have just returned from our stay at Highlife Holiday Village. It really is as fantastic as everyone else has written. It is right on the sea front and you have fantastic views when you have your breakfast. The pool area is lovely and there are no problems getting a space. You can get drinks and bar snacks from the bar but you don't pay for them there and then- so it can be a bit of a shock when you pay your bar bill later! Everyone at the hotel works really hard and you can tell this by how well the hotel is looked after. The rooms aren't luxurious but are comfortable with lovely views and air-conditioning! The hotel is about a 30 minute walk from Kyrenia harbour and part of the walk is at the side of a busy road however it is really easy to get a taxi and it costs about £5. We usually walked into Kyrenia and then got a taxi home. You can get a local bus but we never did so I can't comment on it. We also hired a car from the hotel for a few days and I am really glad that we did. I compared a few companies before I went and this one was the most reasonable. We had a 04 model, air-conditioning, right hand drive, clean, well looked after car and I am glad that we explored a little more of the island. There is a lot of building work happening in Northern Cyprus but when we were at the hotel this was not noticable. If you are confused about which Kyrenia hotel to stay in then look no further than Highlife Hoilday Village and you won't be dissapointed (unless you are wanting a hotel with loud music, busy, child-orientated and then this isn't for you!). I will definately stay here again.

I have just come back from the High Life and would recommend staying here to anyone, in fact I loved it and the staff so much I am going back for a few days in September! Everywhere is so clean and tidy and the staff work very hard to ensure you have a great time, especially Cengiz and Byaram xx It is a small family run hotel and you soon slot into being part of the family. It is the perfect place to get away from it all with no children under 12 and no traffic noise as it is down a little track. You don't actually have to leave the hotel as the food in the restaurant is excellent, with good chioce and value for money. It tends to be frequent by english so lots of friendly people to talk to and if the wine or cocktails are flowing improptu belly dancing from the guests! Can't recommend this hotel highly enough and that's evident with all the repeat buisness it gets. Missing not being there!

It was our first visit to North Cyprus and we found our stay at the High Life wonderful. All the staff was friendly, nothing was too much trouble and many of the guests were also friendly, we made a lot of friends in a short space of time. The food in the restaurant was very good value and well presented. The hotel is in an ideal location with fabulous scenery and stunning sunsets. We found the whole holiday relaxing, which was due to the hotel being a small family business and very well run, we would certainly go back and stay in the future.

With its beautiful Mediterranean setting and friendly service, High Life Holiday Village is a wonderful hotel for both local and international travelers. It’s Northern Cyprus location is gorgeous, and just minutes away from many points of local interest.

October 2005 We have just returned from a relaxing fortnight in Northern Cyprus. We stayed at High Life Hotel, a small family run complex, with excellent views of the sea & the mountains. Everything was spotlessly clean, and nothing was too much trouble for the family & their staff, who did all they could to make our stay pleasant & comfortable. There is a delightful pool, with bar. Breakfast & dinner are taken on a patio overlooking the sea. The premises are situated away from the main road giving an atmosphere of peace, tranquility & comfort. We enjoyed the experience so much we are planning a return visit.
A truly High Life

I am sure that an impession of the country depends on people you meet during your trip. I truly appreciate the work of the owners and stuff in High Life who helped me discovering the beauty of North Cyprus and made me wanna go there again. Thank you for your attention and hospitality, kindness and sincerety. And, of course, for the wonderful cuisine and inexpressible atmosphere - a truly High Life.
