Just perfect. We booked a 4 day break directly with the hotel. Breathtaking views and a really comfortable, spacious room with every comfort from fluffy dressing gowns, nice selection bathroom goodies, even a working fireplace - not that we needed it as the weather was wonderful.
Have to also comment that the food is superb and even though I do not eat meat, the chef made something special for me every nice.
The owners of the hotel Karen and Geoff were very helpful and genuinely nice people, special mention for Jose on reception, who could not do enough for us. We will be going back and recommend this hotel very highly.

Astounding boutique Hotel with excellent rooms, service and food.
Simply stunning views and facilities (the most we have ever seen in a small ten bed roomed Hotel: aromatherapy massages and beauty treatments, horse-riding, sauna, gym, all weather tennis court, mountain bikes and even a hairdresser! - the most beautiful pool area we have ever come across.
Spotlessly cleaned and maintained. Will return!

Astounding boutique Hotel with excellent rooms, service and food.
Simply stunning views and facilities (the most we have ever seen in a small ten bed roomed Hotel: aromatherapy massages and beauty treatments, horse-riding, sauna, gym, all weather tennis court, mountain bikes and even a hairdresser! - the most beautiful pool area we have ever come across.
Spotlessly cleaned and maintained. Will return!

La Posada del Torcal is an astounding boutique Hotel in the heart of Andalucia away from the overbuilt coast.
We had the most beautiful room with a view to the sea about 30 miles away.
Wonderful food, exceptional service from amazing staff. Michael the Manager deserves all credit for this and cannot be praised highly enough.
Incredible facilities - beautiful gardens and heated pool, tennis court was a bonus, and we loved our two hour horse ride through the El Torcal National Park - the Hotel doggie came too!!!!

Stayed here for a long weekend in October, We loved the relaxed atmosphere . The owners were charming and we really felt as if we were guests at their home ! Its all very informal , you just help yourself to drinks ( which are all included in the price ) and dinner was served communally each night - we weren't too sure about this before we arrived, but it was great fun, we met some really nice people and had very entertaining dinners . Food was outstanding. For such a small place, the facilities are brilliant. The pool is heated , our room had a jacuzzi on the terrace, all in all , a really wonderful place to have a break . we will be recommending this place to our friends and will be returning
