We recently stayed here for ten nights. The staff were very welcoming, our room was lovely and clean, tho the bathroom was very dark even with the electric light turned on. There is a square in front of the hotel, and both children and adults tend to gather here - the children to play football, or skateboard the adults to chat - this was normally from early evening until late ..... there is a disco around the corner from the hotel who are very choosy who they let in, we sat and watched from a nearby bar (The Malibu bar) and were shocked how many people they turned away ! Back to the hotel - we stayed on a half board basis and the food in the evening was very disappointing but then when you see they only charge people who are not on HB basis just eleven euros you could see why ! The breakfast was ok tho a bit repeatative the main problem being it was waiter/waitress service so sometimes you could wait a long time for your food to turn up and it could be cold when it arrived !!! Overall the hotel was good, the room was cleaned each day and nice clean towels but I would only recommend staying B&B. The hotel is only a few mins walk from the main resort but if you are looking for a busy nightlife Monte Gordo isnt where its happening - all said and done we enjoyed our holiday (besides the food) but we wont be rushing back .......

Casablanca hotel is very clean and friendly. The food served at breakfast was very good but the 3 course evening meal was outstanding for 8 euros. Beds were clean and sheets and towels were changed very often.
Only problem....it was very noisy. Children play directly outside this hotel. We were kept awake until 3am one morning as children were out playing football. At 4am we were woke again by drunks returning home to a hotel around the corner. We did ask to be moved and were given a room away from the outside dining area (which was also noisy into the early hours of the morning). This room was alot better and you could only hear the children a little bit.
I would recommend this hotel providing your room is away from the front area.
